Double C's Diner

Great Food and friendly service. I ordered the Chicken Taco plate, I really liked everything on it! The beans and rice were very flavorful! Something that is hard to find here in NM - most restaurants beans and rice are bland, but Double C adds flavor and it tastes great! Chicken Tacos were overstuffed with tender flavorful chicken breast meat and cooked perfectly! Hubs had a custom order chicken burrito, they were very good ordering for someone with a lot of dietary restrictions. His burrito was very tasty and filling!*Note - prices are a few dollars per plate higher than the menus that I found online. But all restaurants have had to raise prices the past couple years. The portions make the price very reasonable- we both took home leftovers

The ribs special is amazing! A single cook and a single server, so don't expect fast. But the amount and quality of food for the price is enough to keep us coming back.

We really enjoyed lunch here at the Double C!!! Simple ambiance, though there is a bar, pool and dancing in the evenings. Kids are welcome! Delightfully surprised about the portions and taste of their menu.Though it was a first time experience, our food was pleasently delivered, delicious and enough to take home for another meal or snack! Waitress was great, checking on us and other patrons. If you're a local, a tourist, or just day traveling, stop and enjoy a tasty meal that won't ding your wallet. It's not far off the 40 @ exit 196! If you're maping it.... Google and Yelp are "off" by a block or 2 we stopped at the Pilot and they gave the correct direction.

Food was presented nicely and tasty and plenty for the price. Waitress was very helpful and nice. It may not look like much from the outside but they served good food on the inside. Has a bar atmosphere so may depend on time you go but early during day it was fine. :)

Great portions almost too big. Food was great. They seemed to be short staffed. Which is how it is these days. But they did a great job.

One of the best little hidden gems in Moriarty! Excellent food and you get a ton of it too! Rivals my favorite Mexican restaurant in Albuquerque! The owner took our orders, made the food and brought it to our car! You cannot beat the prices either! Go. Try. Now.

We stop and eat here every time we come into New Mexico! Great food at a great price!! Definitely worth the stop. Portions are well with the prices!!

Food was fresh and cooked very well. The waitress who provided my coworker and I service was friendly, extremely hospitable and the environment was vintage but welcoming. Would definitely go back for a second go!

On the original Route 66 in Moriarity mm.Don't be put off by the ruff amenities. Food was excellent, service was great. You won't be disappointed!

The food was decent to good, the service was great, it was odd having to get your own alcoholic drinks from the bar that was in the same room, but I am guessing that is a liquor law thing. It was cheap though... way cheaper than I am used to coming from up by Seattle. There this same food would have easily been 2-3x as much. It was odd eating in a bar with pool tables with my 9-year old. Still, it was good. We'll be back.
