Great experience with Don's Windows. They were prompt both for the quote and installation, everyone was very nice, they left the place very clean, and the windows look great. I'm happy to have replaced the old wood windows with new vinyl ones that are argon filled at altitude to maintain their energy efficiency.We have plans to replace our remaining old window with a door type that they don't make, but we plan to get a tall window put next to it and we will go with Don's again.The only small oops that happened was our bathroom glass should have been clear, not frosted (since we are in the woods and no one lives behind us). They had that corrected within an hour of the initial installers leaving, so not a problem at all. Very pleased with the responsiveness to that one tiny issue.Happy customer here.

I replaced every window in my house with Don's windows. Theresa was FANTASTIC to work with!! She showed up on time for the quote, was professional, was great about telling me which windows were best for my budget and had her installers come out just as soon as the windows were built. I will never go to another window shop in Albuquerque as I know that at Don's windows, they are honest, they install on the date they give you for the installation, the windows look to be high quality and they have high standards for their installations. If I could give the owner Theresa a zero review that's what Don's windows would recieve from me. Theresa the owner is ruthless, hateful, bitter, and totally unprofessional. I was given an invoice for standard size patio doors. Theresa claims here doors are custom. They set a date for install and 2 months later your still waiting for install. You request a refund and she refuses. She will shout at you and tell you to leave her office. Will not provide you a reason for not refunding your deposit. Mine was $850.00. If you write a review , she will state she would like to talk with you regards to concerns about the review. What a joke, this company will not refund you a penny. Take your business elsewhere, I even filed a complaint with Better Business bureau . Don's windows Theresa the owner refused to refund my down payment. Beware look at her bad reviews and Better Business complaints.

We bought 8 windows from Don's and they installed them under 2 years ago. We love the way they look but 5 of the windows started leaking badly after this last hard rain. The company said they feel it was some cracks in the stucco but another window that was installed previously and is exposed to the rain did not leak!We feel they did not put enough adhesive when installing and used a poor quality caulking. They did come out and re-chaulk the top of the windows. Then they charged us an 80$ service charge for the priviledge!!! Very disappointed in Don's Windows!

Dons just replaced all my windows and patio door. For these items being made to order I was disappointed that they brought me a screen that had a hole in it and a patio door that had a scratch in the glass. The casing for the windows were bent in some places as well. The screen was replaced but the guy installing didn't care about the patio door scratch or another issues. The guys installing do not clean up and leave a horrible mess!!!!! I have a picture widow which is high up and they tore paint off my wall with their ladder and left marks all over it. They didn't calk everything inside where they left huge holes from tearing out the old windows and left a huge mess outside. I sent an email to the company with of course no reply.....I have pictures of everything that is wrong. I wanted to use someone who was local and this was a mistake.

We are looking to improve our patio door and had Don's come out to look at our door and give us an estimate. The lady that showed up started off by criticizing where we live! She spent about 5 minutes total in our house. She took one look at our crummy slider door and told us there was nothing she could do for us. She offered no suggestions re options. She then proceeded to tell us to watch out for other companies in Albuquerque because "they're all scammers". Never going to call Don's in the future.

If you ever need new windows for your house, your search starts and ends with Don's. They were extremely professional from the first day we called. They were very thorough, extremely detailed, and had the best price.The install of the windows was seamless, and we couldn't be happier.On the day of the install, they again measured every window, found one that wasn't in the order and called the office right away. The window was ready after lunch and installed the same day. Nobody else could have promised us the same level of service.Don's is the best!

This is an excellent company That stands by their quality. I could not be happier with the company and the staff. The installation crew was on time and did a great job at cleaning up after. Everything looks great . I recommend to anyone that is looking to update their home. You will not be disappointed.
