Great collection of books.Nice comics section.You never know what you are going to find!Staff is always willing to search for something for you. The owner super nice and very patient.Lovely little local book shop.

HOLY SMOKES!!! This is my new favorite book store. What a great selection, such a knowledgable friendly staff and great prices. They even have a ton of comic books! I know where I'm gonna go on free comic book day. This is where I'll be spending all my money in the future.

Wow!! I can't believe they're still going after all these years. Used to go as a kid in the 70s-80s and now for a comic book (or regular book) fan, they are better than ever!

They have a great exchange system. A little less than two years ago they reorganized with new shelving. There is a wide array of non-fiction as well as fiction. The travel section and the history section are gems. They are a fixture in SE Albuquerque.

Our family has shopped at Don's for more than 40 years. It's owned and operated by three generations of family members and their friends. All are friendly and know their business. The book selection is extraordinary, very well organized, prices are very reasonable, and the books are in great condition! Don's carries an amazing selection of history books, Westerns and romance novels, nonfiction, cookbooks, educational works, children's books . . . just about everything, including one of the world's largest inventories of comic books for collectors. If what you're looking for isn't in stock, Don's will do everything possible to find it for you. What great customer service!

To be fair, I haven't been in Dons for 30 years. On the other hand, in the early 70's I was there all the time. I knew Don, and his son was just starting to help in the business. I bought hundreds of comics from the store (and still have them)I'm sure it's the same, tidy friendly place it always was . I'm really happy to see that it's still there.

I was looking everywhere for a specific comic and I called Don's hoping they'd have it, and they did. I placed a hold on it with ease, and once the day came I purchased it with ease as well. Shipping was extremely fast and packaged with care and love, and I will definitely be buying from them again!!! If you need an omnibus get it here!

Don's has a lot more than fiction paperbook books-there is a substantial history section (mainly hardbacks) and it has a large nonfiction section as well. And then there is the large and impressive comic section. This store is well organized and clean. I often find books that captivate me and I buy them. The selection of books is impressive, and the books are in good to great condition and well organized. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This is a hidden gem in the southeast heights. There are many reasons this family owned store has lasted for decades -the organization, the selection and the customer service are the main reasons. Check this store out!

We have been going to Don's for 15+ years and can find just about anything. The prices are very good and the exchange is also very good. Will be heading there in a few days to see Liz, who took over for her father Don. Recommend this Paper Back Book Exchange and suggest to try it at least once.
