I first went to Dolina on a trip to Santa Fe a couple of years ago. (Yum, chicken paprikash!) When I returned, I was excited to share the experience with other friends, and my memories did not disappoint. It was a tough call, but I got the salmon tartine this time, though I drooled profusely looking at the breakfast sandwiches my friend's ordered. (OMG...). The smoked salmon was tender and delicate in flavor; it paired excellently with the lemony greens. I would say the dish almost verges salad, which after many meals of chile rellenos and enchiladas, was a welcome reprieve. It's a bustling place for sure, which does create some difficulties in terms of seating and service. (I wanted to get a pastry to go, for example, but at a certain point you just give up on these things.) When we visited (September), there was a lot of construction on the adjoining road as well, which made navigating parking a bit of a challenge. I would recommend finding something on an adjacent side street though regardless. (Not knowing any better we pulled into the small entry and parking lot initially, and then someone rather stubbornly pulled in after us and left us stuck there for awhile, as there's no way to round the building.)All of that said, whatever wait or hassle involved, I would eat this food over and over and over again.

*beware of parking lot. It is tiny and so you may have to park over in front of sprouts. There is also currently construction on the street making it crazier.*We were seated quickly at the community table. Our food was delicious! I got the Sant Fe omelette plate. The omelette was nice and soft with nicely cooked mushrooms and cheese. The hash browns could have been crunchy but overall I was happy. We asked to split the check which did end up with some confusion. So maybe just make sure you look at your receipt.

What a unique and vibrant menu at this sweet little cafe. Amazing service from our waitress Jess. She helped us decide what to order and suggested the tuna sandwich and a Cesar salad and some amazing pastries. Iced tea was so fresh. The tuna is cured in house and unlike any other tuna sandwich I've had, though it does remind me of how make my own with capers and tomatoes. Everything was fresh and delicious. Absolutely will be back. One tip, just park across the street.

Even better than I remembered it 3yr ago! I don't always have the privilege to revisit a place after multiple years & still find the quality to be wonderful, but to 1Up my memory is incredible! On this occasion, I enjoyed the Breakfast Croissant & tried my bf's Santa Fe Omelet. These are both fantastic choices.Previously, I had the beautiful French Toast. So, now I have had both sweet & savory dishes. I gotta say, savory is the way to go, but sweet is never bad. The matcha & chai lattes are deliciously smoothThe staff is pleasant and nice & the location is cute in or outside

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. I'm working my way through the menu and have loved everything so far. The menu ranges from NM style breakfast burritos to chicken paprikash with homemade dumplings. And there is always something too good to pass up in the pastry case. They also have a community table, which is great if dining alone. Parking is a little tricky, but it's worth the hassle.

Don't go here!! Bad experience. Came in excited to try this restaurant because of all the positive reviews but honestly this is a tourist trap that does not care about customer service at all and it's so much work for the server to do her job. Constant attitude from the server with the (star tattoos?) on her arm. We had a party of 5 and there was plenty of tables, and they tried to seat the 5 of us at a small table meant for only 4 people. No big deal, but we intended to buy a lot of dishes for the table and even if we only ordered one dish per person we would not sit comfortably at this table. There was a small open table near us, which I asked the server if we can combine the table to which she ignored my request completely, and threw a chair at the end of the table. When I requested again to combine the table due to lack of space, she finally rudely combined the tables without a word said and threw down the menu in front of me. Totally not how you treat customers by the way, and after reading other negative reviews it seems like the rudeness was not uncommon. Not sure if all the negative reviews had the same server, but everyone else here that I encountered was absolutely lovely. They should just fire this girl and they would probably never see another negative review. The parking lot is really tiny, so be prepared to not find any parking. When we came in it wasn't too busy, we got seated pretty quickly. I was hoping that with this experience, the food would at least be the most amazing food for them to have the reviews they have with the way customers are treated here. Food wasn't bad, but definitely not worth all the hype. On top of that, asking for things we needed for our meal was met with more attitude, didn't realize we were pulling teeth! (No tip for bad servers!) We ordered the pancakes, waffles, langos, paprikash, french toast, the simple breakfast, and the hash brown with hatch green chili. The breaded stuff like the French toast, pancakes, and waffles were not bad pretty typical as far as those dishes go. The langos was also alright, it wasn't all too flavorful I'm not sure if it was just an off day for this dish since it seemed so promising but it was very ok as well. The hash brown was also alright, the flavors were good but the texture of the hash brown itself tasted like frozen hash browns that became soggy after it was cooked. My simple breakfast included hash browns, and same texture. The sunny side up eggs were fine, and came with English muffins. The English muffins were probably my favorite part of all the items today, which is strange because I don't particularly love English muffins. The paprikash on the other hand was unique, and I enjoyed these. If you do end up dining here for whatever reason, I suggest trying this dish for sure. The paprikash is a Hungarian stew that has egg noodles similar to spaetzle, and includes sour cream. This dish was pretty flavorful, and I did enjoy this. Needless to say, I was overall disappointed in my experience this morning and I hope that everyone has a different experience if they go. I highly suggest going to Clafoutis instead, as everytime I'm in town I go there and never have bad food or a bad experience. Honestly, don't think that the owner reviews these reviews anyway from the looks of things.

We are in town on vacation and heard about this local diner. It has a modern Polish atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and attentive to our needs. We ordered the baked eggs and pesto omelette. The food came out quickly and very hot. They offer fresh food and drinks that are made in house. They also have a small bakery that makes some traditional polish pastries as well as Mexican favorites. While they are primarily polish, they also offer many Mexican dishes as well. They are a brunch place and very busy so come by early! We definitely want to come back for lunch and try the paprikas and goulash.

Driving into town from Albuquerque, I figured I'd stop at Dolina for a small lunch. Alas, their electricity was out! Darn! As I planned my departure, I noted Dolina opened early. I stopped in for an Americano and a Breakfast pastry. I drank the excellent coffee during my drive and saved the pastry for the airport. Everyone around me was envious! They ate their cardboard sweets while I had a real treat. Next time I'm back in Santa Fe, I'm back at Dolina.

Dolina is a cute little cafe that gave me rich people vibes. It reminded me of Épicerie (for ATX reference) and CommonWealth (for SA reference). I ordered the ricotta pancakes and they were delish. It came with three rich pancakes with fresh berries, whipped cream, and warm maple syrup. These pancakes had crispy edges and I lovvvvveeeee when pancakes have crispppyyyyy edgesssss
