Updating to respond to the owner's comment to me over a year after I left a review: 1) the response time tells a lot about the care this business has for the feedback they receive from customers.2) I obviously have a car in Abq otherwise I wouldn't have been trying to get service there. I get that not a lot of people have cars and homes in different parts of the country, but I do and that was explained to the person who answered the phone and was also outlined in my original review. Not only that; but I would 100% not go 1,800 miles out of my way to hit up a facility that has a less than 3 star Yelp rating - it's almost comical to think about! 3) my issue with the girl answering the phone wasn't even acknowledged in his response. I'd give this place a negative star rating if I could. One star is giving them too much credit.

Keep this company off our roads in New Mexico! They do not take responsibility for scrap pieces falling off their speeding tow trucks. The totaled vehicle on the truck bed was not taped, and a piece of scrap hit our windshield. Interesting that my previous review was deleted. Also interesting that a new, glowing review mentions that they work with Gieco- THEY DO NOT. Also, the manager assaulted my husband when he went into the office to request the footage he claimed showed nothing falling off their tow truck. Will keep posting until we get $ to replace the cracked windshield. Cowards!

Discount Collision along with their relationship with Geico as a RFX shop is the best experience in my 35 years driving and having work performed at a collision shop. I had an auto accident while traveling across country after the COVID-19 death of my Mother. They made accommodations for my out of state stressors by keeping open communication and personal attention to customer service. The staff are not only professional but personal like family. I was given a full inspection of vehicle and even told if there's any concerns even back in my home state it can be covered. That's a bittersweet feeling because it won't be them but I'll be covered. I had by far the worst experience with Discount Collision. I thought I had chosen a reputable Geico approved shop but I was wrong. When I received my car back from them there were still many issues including things were stolen from my car. The seats of my car were also dirty and not clean as I had left them when I initially dropped the car off. After talking with the owner, he said he caught homeless people on camera going through the cars on his lot. I asked why was my car not locked. He said he could not lock all the cars on his lot.. This is not my fault at all but a decision on his part to either lock all the cars or hire a security guard. This is not all.. After going back and having them clean my car and also fix the bumper issues and my radiator still leaking, they could not figure it out. I had to take it back to another body shop that Geico approved to get the repairs fixed correctly. In all it cost an additional $1600 to fix it properly. I would NOT recommend anyone take their car to this shop!

had my car repaired in July, 2022. A part was not available. I called every other week or so for updates. I left messages with the nice woman who always answered but I never got any response from Joseph, who took my car in initially or the shop manager, as requested. She also would never connect me with anyone...they were always busy. I also called and asked to speak to the parts manager and was told that she did not talk with customers. It was horrible customer service!! All they needed to do was respond to me. I am finally getting the part replaced tomorrow, Oct. 11. I understand in today's world that it is taking extra time for part deliveries. However, I did call a local dealership and they had my part in house. It wasn't until I called Discount Collision with this information that all of a sudden the part was available. Also, when I picked up my car in July after most of the repairs had been done my car's air conditioner had a horrible noise when I turned on the fan that was not there before. They told me they had nothing to do with it. When I took it to my mechanic he found a bunch of new heavy duty plastic material that was caught up in the fan. Maybe that wasn't their fault, but highly suspect. While the repairs that were done looked good and my car was returned cleaned, the customer service was terrible. I only asked for returned calls. They dodged my calls instead of having the courtesy of talking with me. Unacceptable. My insurance company recommended this company but I will never never take a vehicle to them again.
