Desert Sky On The Fly

Had the opportunity to try this food truck tonight at Cabezon Park. First thing is I can't get past how cheap it was for 4 tacos which was $10. Most places charge 3 to 4 dollars a Taco and are usually smaller than what we received from Desert sky on the fly. These tacos were filling, flavorful, not greasy, and delicious. Their version of consome was also the perfect addition to the tacos. The 2 gentleman working the truck were beyond appreciative and gracious for the business. Having quality food and a business that is just appreciative of me as I am of them, will have me seeking them out in the future.

We had the opportunity to try their cinco de Mayo menu & it was great! What first caught our eye was the Philly cheesesteak logo on the side of the food truck but we're surprised to see birria on the menu. My bf & I split the rice bowl & the chips & salsa. I'm picky about salsa so I was hoping for more spice. However, I was actually glad it wasn't too spicy so my daughter could eat some as well. The rice bowl was spot on. Full of flavor & packed with different ingredients. The owner let my bf know he is usually at the park on Wednesday's so we will be back to try their Philly cheesesteak.

Chef Spilca and his crew are amazing. I needed to book a food truck for a staff event and this gentleman agreed to work with us. He even provided a meatless option for our staff who don't eat meat! The food and service were on point. You can tell that the Chef and his team love what they do, and we appreciate them for it.
