I've lived here for almost 2 years and have had pest control come into my apartment maybe 2 time through entire time I've been here. When I call to be put on the list for them to spray on whatever following Friday they tell me they've put me on but I've stayed home the entire time and no pest control has come knocking on my door or anything. Now recently I've been calling the front office to see what spray is used in the building and to see if yet again I can be put on the list cause I slowly have roaches invading my apartment which is disgusting and dangerous since I now have a newborn and no answer no matter what time I call and no matter how many messages I've left still no return phone call. Definitely don't recommend living here!

My name is Scottie, and we have lived here for almost 14 months now and I must say that managers here go up and beyond to work with you so as you feel comfortable and welcomed. Johnna and Yadira have been most helpful:) an added plus is there commitment to keeping the grounds safe, clean, and most importantly upholding the apartments policy on parking, much obliged!!!!

Horrible Place to Live - The property is dirty, there are used needles in the parking lot, the kids playground is covered in graffiti and busted up/broken, the hot tub is dirty, and the gym is small and the gym equipment is nasty. The apartment halls are also dirty and the carpet in the halls stinks. Our apartment A/C doesn't work properly and leaks water onto our furniture and they refuse to fix it correctly. We had had to call and request pest control because we had cockroaches coming out f the electrical outlets and bathtub drain when we moved in. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom were so horribly stained when we moved in as well as the bathtub was stained and the fixtures were all covered in mildew. The carpet in the apartment was shredding when we moved in and after a few months of living here it is being pulled up in area's. There is also a hole in our living room floor that is covered by the carpet, but whenever we step on that part of the living room it feels like we are going to fall through the floor to the bottom apartment. The ladies who work in the front office are RUDE and just horrible people. When we contact them regarding the A/C or pest control or the MANY other issues with the apartment she is rude and when I told her I was going to write a bad review she said "That is fine go ahead" - basically as long as she gets her paycheck she doesn't care about the residents or the apartments reviews. The apartment complex has a kickback program with a very shady towing company. We decided to move into an apartment for a year so we could save money for a down-payment on a house and after 4 months of living here we are looking to break the lease and move into a better apartment because I cannot live here with my child for 8 more months!! It is a HORRIBLE and DISGUSTING place to live and I regret choosing this apartment complex.

I have never been scammed, until Desert Creek apartments! I received a boot on my car because my registration was not DISPLAYED, however, it was up to date. I was waiting for my sticker to arrive in the mail and I had the form to prove it. I explained and showed proof to the booting company that has a lease agreement, with desert creek, to boot cars within the complex, didn't matter. So then I looked at the lease to see if it states that my registration needs to be displayed, and sure enough, IT DOES NOT! It states "if there is no current registration and/or inspection sticker." I have an up-to-date registration!!! I explained THAT to the booting company and sent pictures, still didn't matter. The booting company then threatened to tow my car if I didn't pay the $75 by the end of the day (the same day it was booted). I then went and talked to Desert Creek management and they said that it needs to be displayed even though I have my registration and it's not in the lease agreement. I had no other choice but to pay.On top of all of this, the place is infested with roaches. The pictures attached are the lease agreement, the agreement the booting company has with Desert Creek, and a sign hung up at Desert creek. I hope this helps other tenets and guests from being scammed moving forward

Do not rent here. Yes the utilities are included and yes this location is very much close to a lot of businesses. Don't let that fool you. Although they're raising their rent, there are roaches everywhere. In the kitchen, in the bathroom and they even come inside from your balcony. Make sure to always keep your resident sticker in a visible place, tape it if you have to. They state they have courtesy patrol every night. Which is very much not true. As a night owl as myself I rarely see anyone coming around. If you happen to drop your sticker one day you will get towed or booted. Which the boot it self is $75 and the tow is around $300 to claim your vehicle. I do not recommend this place not one bit. Everyone complains about this hell hole. The hallways always smell like death, the hallways have not been fixed or renovated. You can tell they put very little to no detail to the actual place. And god forbid they're fixing the roofs at 7am!!!!!!! Just stay away I promise this is NOT a gem!!!!!!!'

I'm not sure what is going on but it's been 80 degrees in my apartment and we have the fans all on windows open and it's still super hot. Not only is it uncomfortable but the baby is not happy because he's super hot. All they say is it'll be on soon like it's hot outside why isn't it on.

Have been living here for 6 months and other than the rent, it's not great. When we first moved here, the pet deposit was $200 from one office employee. Then four months later, it went up to $400 with $200 being fees that are non refundable. Asked a week ago and it has gone up to $550, with $350 of that being nonrefundable. There is always at least one dryer that isn't working, and not marked so you don't know until you waste your money on it. There is a washer that isn't working now, but someone took the sign down and we didn't know which one was broken. The AC/heater seems to switch because our apartment will go from freezing to hot without anyone touching the thermostat. The one time we called a maintenance man, he hardly helped at all with the toilet and it still runs. Overall, I think this apartment is fine if you're not planning on getting a pet and want to have reasonable rent, but there are things that could be better.
