Dean Wasson, DC - Wellspring Chiropractic

I have been coming to Dr. Wasson for years. I started with him before he had his own practice and scoured the internet to find him when he branched off on his own. He always goes out of his way to make sure that and make time for me if I have a flare up and makes sure that I feel better before I leave his office. He gave me my life back because lower back pain was slowly starting to take it away from me. Thank you Dr. Wasson! I will NEVER go anywhere else!

Amazing man. I have severe scoliosis among many other conditions. I see Dr. Wasson once a month in order to be able to function as an upright mobile human being. He is a miracle man with a generous heart, healing hands, and winning smile. Go to him before the medical system wants to cut and paste you back together!

I'm new to New Mexico. Just moved here from California. Was looking for a new chiropractor for treatment. It's hard when you don't know the area or have friends yet who can make referrals to you. Searched out many chiropractors in the area and read their reviews on yelp. Dr. Wasson didn't have many reviews, but the reviews he did have were positive, so I decided to try him. I needed a chiropractor with a drop table. Having been treated on a drop table prior by my California Chiropractor, I needed someone that had one. Adjustments on a drop table work best and help keep from aggravating my condition. Many chiropractors didn't have one. And several only use actuator's, I call them clickers. I tried Dr. Wasson at Wellspring Chiropractic in Rio Rancho, NM. I was impressed by his treatment. It was very thorough. His office is state of the art, clean, and professional. He has very expensive equipment in his office for treating patients. Especially the spinal decompression equipment. Hardly any chiropractors have one of those but he does. It is very effective in relieving disc compression if you have that ailment. I have been on one before at my previous chiropractor's office in California and they work wonderfully. Dr. Wasson is very good and made several adjustments that gave me immediate relief, and the full range of my motion back. He includes the roller table in his adjustment fee if you desire that. I didn't need it, but it was nice to know I could have received that therapy as well, as it was included in my adjustment fee. He doesn't overbook or triage his patients so that he can spend the necessary time with each patient in not only treating them but answering all of their questions as well. He's more concerned about a patients quality of health care than he is on seeing multiple patients one right after another, 5 minutes or so apart. He said, before opening his own practice, he worked in another chiropractor's office who saw 70 patients a day between the two of them and he didn't like that. He told me that is not why he went to school. He said to him, that isn't quality health care. On my first appointment he spent over an hour with me, which included going over all of my past medical and chiropractic treatment history, checking my eyes, ears, throat, blood pressure, coordination, mobility among other things. He's personable, and friendly, and not afraid to laugh. He made me feel very comfortable. I was a little nervous at first to go to him because it was my first time seeing him, but I'm glad I did. I found my new Chiropractic Doctor and I will continue my treatment with him going forward. I know my own body and I requested a monthly maintenance plan with him, which is what works best for me to keep me healthy and pain free, even though he suggested a plan for every 7 to 8 weeks apart. And quite frankly, I probably could go 7 or 8 weeks apart, but I personally don't want to take that chance. I told him that I want every 4 weeks, but I appreciated his suggestion. It just showed me that he wasn't out to get my money and more concerned with my well being physically and financially. I've been receiving chiropractic treatment for the last 32 years and know chiropractic treatment well. I've had drop table adjustments, regular adjustments, roller table therapy, TENS therapy and spinal decompression therapy. With that being said, I highly recommend Dr. Wasson to anyone looking for a good chiropractor. Thank you Dr. Wasson for a job well done. See you next month.
