Daniel’s Pet Makeover

Daniel's Pet Makeover did a wonderful job with our two Pomeranians today!This is the first time we've tried Daniel's and we were very pleased. Daniel was very accommodating, getting our dogs in on the day we had asked for, agreeing to use the shampoo we use on our Bella's sensitive skin, and made sure to protect Buddy's ears as we asked. Our dogs came home looking great! They were tired from a busy day out at the spa and looking like a million bucks! We'd definitely recommend Daniel. He's in a small, sort of tucked away shopping center near Little Caesar's on Paradise, but he's happy to give detailed directions so call and give him a chance. I think you'll be as happy as we are today.

After we moved much further in the Albuquerque from California , I had to find a new groomer for our 2 golden retrievers and very old German Shepherd. After trying a few different local establishments as well as mobile groomers, I finally found THE best one. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable about different breeds very professional ,and therefore knew exactly what to do and whatNOT to do to my dogs! He used top-notch products I don't think my Golden and German have ever looked or felt better. Daniel really knows what he's doing, and his prices are extremely reasonable On top of it all,What a NICE GUY.Thanks recommended Five stars

We brought our newly rescued dog to Daniels, from someones recommendation.Our dog is a ShihTzu mix,not sure of the other part,because we got him at a rescue organization.Daniel shaved him,because he was matted,and the resuce place left him with long hair.But he wouldnt cut his beard.He grooms the way he thinks the dog should look like.Doesnt care what you tell him.I asked him to cut the beard off the next day.He wouldnt,said if people ask you where you got your dog groomed,they would think he did a bad job.I never had a groomer like that,and wouldnt go back.A good groomer knows how to listen to the customer,not just caring about himself. Very disapointed the way it turned out

This place was recommended to me . It's a new and great place and top of that good pricing . My dog smelled great no perfumes just clean. he was so relaxed after he slept like a pupI will make this a monthly thing for my 7 year old husky loved it .. Thank you Daniel you are the best very professional and friendly

Can't even rate this place but should've read the reviews before wasting my time and torturing my poor dog. He complained about the demographics in the area as he is not from here. He needs to take a moment to analyze that the issues isn't with the demographi, the problem is HIM! He has no people skills and lacks the ability to be professional.

I walked in and asked about his prices and what he does for that ask him about ejecting then he starts educating me how he does not do that then I interrupted which I probably should not have but then he turns and says well you let me finish kind of sarcastic then he tells me that he matches other places so I asked him to match the the place where I went and he said they were cheap and they were too cheap. He said he was meaning to talk to them about that I told him that is against the law and price-fixing he told me no it's not then he got mad and told me I'm not the right kind of customer for their I noticed he sure defends the way he talks to people on other reports that are one or two stars he claims them to be liars I will never go there again or take my dog if anybody ever asked me about them they definitely will not get a good review from me I went back to my old place and told them he was going to talk to them about raising their prices that is that is price-fixing they told me they will not raise their prices he is just too expensiveIn the end that was uncalled for he kind of ruined my day I just went to ask for a price.

I had called Daniel's to get my labradoodle in because his regular visit at a groomers had to be canceled. Yes, I was overdue for grooming appointment about 3 weeks due to a work conflict. To make a long story short he said he was not comfortable taking on my dog as a client because he was too matted. He said this without even touching my dog's fur. He has a very curly coat that is easily brushed out. Yes, he had some matting under his ears and tail. Again he was overdue And he is a doodle. So as we were walking out he was saying Labradoodle owners don't take care of their dogs and they are very high maintenance. Yes Daniel, I know they are high maintenance and that is why they get groomed regularly. He then proceeded to follow me out to my car taking pictures of my dog Saying "look at that tail!" When I asked why he was taking pictures of me he said in case I leave a bad review. He has to protect his business...well Daniel when I went to your Facebook page you rave how it's all about the dog under a picture of yes.... A horribly mattted fur baby. This is not true. It's not all about the dog it's about you shaming people who for whatever reason it was, couldn't get into a groomer in a timely fashion. Good luck.

I had an appointment with Daniel on Saturday morning for my 2 dogs. I waited for an hour for him to show up, which he never did...nor did he call me to cancel. I finally heard from him at 10pm that evening, saying he had something come up and that I could bring the dogs in on Sunday at 10:30. I took them in and when I called at 4:30 to get an update, he told me that he hadn't even started. He told me he had other dogs and walk-ins. Why would you accept walk-ins when you're already behind from not showing up for work the day before. He was so rude and told me that I was not patient enough. I had an appointment on Saturday that he didn't bother to show up for or call me to cancel and then my dogs were in a cage for six hours and he hadn't even started and he tells me I am not patient enough. I do not recommend anyone wasting their time. My neighbor had an appointment a few months ago and Daniel didn't she up or call to cancel then, either.
