The Lescombes family Heritage wines are top shelf and show a fantastic example of what New Mexico Wine can truly bring to traditional grapes. The food is all very heartwarming and with tasty fats to make the wine so refreshing. The portions are very large, so look forward to a green chili meatloaf sandwich the next day for lunch. Every location in the state has a different personality and look, but they are all cozy and the staff makes you feel like part of the family.

I really wanted to love this place, but it was not the best dining experience. We had an amazing seat in the round room near the front with a group of friends! The restaurant was beautiful, what I saw of it. It took at least 15 minutes for someone to come check on us. A very abrupt gentlemen came and asked if we wanted anything. We asked to order drinks and he said I'll get bread and walked away. The server was very sweet but we could tell she was very busy. We ordered our drinks which took a very long time to arrive. Granted we all ordered flights, I ordered the customer flight with recommendations from the server. We had been seated an hour before our drinks arrived. The server did advise me each of my drinks but did not for the rest of the table. We ordered our food but when it arrived with a different abrupt gentlemen, his tone and presence literally silenced the whole table. Imagine 7 women suddenly silent passing plates around the table. A few received the wrong meal, based on meat cooking level, so there was a bit of movement for awhile. Some plates arrived while a few of us had to wait. Now the food - the veggies though paper thinly sliced was amazing!! I wished I could order just a plate of the veggies!!! I ordered meatloaf which was delicious!!! Most of the table ordered the steak frites, which for lack of better term looked sad! Very thin steak, did not advise of cook level, some looked a little dry. I was very pleased with the meatloaf portion and flavor! It was such a great portion I took more than half home and the waitress questioned if I liked my food. I loved it, it was just a lot of food!! My flight was amazing, but I was not asked if I wanted to purchase a bottle, had questions or wanted to purchase more. I did want to purchase a bottle, but decided to hold off. Our checks took longer than expected to arrive, one pen was provided, then another 15 minutes to process. All and all, I will come back to try again! I never ordered more wine so I may try again for a lunch meal to see if the service and meal are more of what I expected from a higher end restaurant. Will try again and hope to raise the stars but overall, a very nice place.

Update: I sent an email to them directly as requested and never received a reply. What a beautiful place! If you're familiar with this location, you know this place is enormous and it's been many things. The decision to place this winery here, was a great idea!I will have to return for a meal since I only went in for a glass of wine with my brother at the bar. (I do wish they made the bar longer). It took a few minutes to be greeted but I'm not upset about it. Servers are busy and we all have to show a little patience.$30 for a glass of Imperial Kir and a glass of a cab. I'm not sure why it was so much! That's excessive! I hope that the meal when I return isn't as expensive. Sure it's beautiful and beautiful has a cost. I hope prices don't stay so high.

Friends wanted to check it out because they haven't been there yet so we gave it another try. I'm glad we did. The food was good. Service was so, so to absent but the building is so clean and nice. Again glad to see the building being occupied by such a nice business.

This was my first time ever visiting this restaurant. We decided to dine here for a celebration. I definitely recommend calling in for a reservation because when we showed up, it was really packed. I had called them up the day before to reserve for our dining experience. This restaurant is located in the Cottonwood area. There is a private lot for the restaurant. Ample amount of parking spaces. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation time, but they sat us right away. The restaurant was very inviting and most of the seats were filled with hungry patrons. We were greeted by friendly staff members and our server Daisy was very attentive and helpful when we were having a hard time finding something to try. We sat down, and we were offered a wine sampling. That was pretty good.We spent a little bit of time trying to find out what we were going to eat for dinner. We finally decided that we would start with the baked brie as our appetizer. It was so good. The lavender honey, served alongside it was very tasty. We enjoyed that very much.We then ordered the Country Pot Roast, which was so tender and flavorful. I ordered the Pistachio Pesto Pasta and added chicken. It was not as enjoyable as the pot roast, so I ended up taking the rest of it home. I may try some other menu item the next time we visit. We decided to end the evening with the Créme Brûlée. So creamy and decadent. It was very delightful and we enjoyed it. Overall, our dining experience was very good. It was very busy. There were a lot of people dining there. Although, it was busy Daisy was still there to attend to our needs. Hoping to be back soon. Thank you!

Had Sunday breakfast here in December. I was blown away!! It was a full house. For $25, it included a breakfast buffet, and complimentary mimosa. The buffet was so delicious. They had a variety of food. This included oatmeal, French toast, eggs, potatoes, fruit, and more.

D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro was a rather delightful lunch experience. It was the first visit to the Cottonwood area location and I absolutely loved it! It is an excellent establishment for wine and delicious food! I was impressed by the staff and the food. The staff was friendly and the attendant did an excellent job serving and providing us with great recommendations.I chose the German schnitzel (breaded pork loin w/ jaeger sauce, yukon gold mash potatoes, seasonal vegetables and dont forget the grilled lemon. Made me think I was back in Germany (fun times).Beautiful, intimate restaurant that I highly recommend.

This is tremendous! My husband and I love the one in Old Town and now this! Closer to our stomping grounds and the view (see my picture) is awesome. Today we had a couple of our favorites the country pot roast and the Southwest meatloaf. Both brought memories of our visits to the Old town location. Always great when a restaurant that branches out maintains quality. They hit the mark on that, although I have to admit the Old Town branch still holds the candle, but maybe, it's just too early. The views from the east side of the restaurant are magnificent. I don't typically like dining in the evening, however, I may need to go at least one time to experience it. I love the city lights type of view. We had wine and desert, still able to keep the bill under $$$. I can't wait to go again. Service was impeccable.
