Cuco's Kitchen

Tried this place for dinner. It was not busy and the service was quick and friendly. The food was middle of the road. If you have ever eaten at Federico's or Filiberto's, it is exactly that just wrapped in a nicer package. The salsas had a good flavor. No fountain drinks just bottled cokes which I'm not a fan of, but overall this place is worth a try if you want to try something new but not really different. Also, they have Menudo which I wanted to try but it was $13 for a bowl..... LOL Pass on that. I had the Cucos Torta instead, it was salty in a good way I like the carne asada like that. The bun should have been toasted. It was a little soggy because of the cheese and sauces it would have held up better if it was, overall it was okay.

Bruh I can gorge on their asada fries for days and finish it up with horchata wbu cuz?

Amazing! We had a carne asada plate and an Al Pastor plate. Everything was absolutely delicious. Their beans and rice are incredible too.

Finally a quick and close taste to what I grew up on in SoCal. Cali burritos are not for everyone, neither is Sonora Mexican food so if you're coming here expecting New Mexican slop, keep searching. Got my Cali burrito home this afternoon and first bite, took me back to my High School days of ditching class, grabbing my board and hitting the beach with my buds and some burritos from the local shops in O.B. Asada cooked perfect, guacamole and pico on point and not overloaded with fries...perfect balance. Cuco's be warned, now that I mostly work from home, you'll likely be seeing my face here on the regular PS...I'd post a picture but I smashed that thing so fast there was not time LOL.

They just opened this Cucu's a week ago! Super clean, friendly staff :) I got a free Jamaica drink (hibiscus) and it rocked! Ordered the al pastor plate and it came with pineapple chunks beans rice/or fries sauces and tortillas. That al pastor was as good as any I've had and I've had ALOT... living 20 years off of Los Angeles taco trucks! I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW JUST LOOK AT THIS DELICIOUSNESS!!!

I ordered three tacos and surprisingly they don't come with rice or beans like other Mexican places. They were rather pricey with very little meat. Since my order was take out I had very little interaction with the cashier. The place was very clean with nice views of the mountains.

I will have to say when Mom and Dad the original owners are not there it hurts there business ! I won't make a bad review but. I have been going to this place since they were on Central Ave when they opened. When they leave it up to the kids to run the restaurant there is a huge difference in the quality of the food !! They just don't take pride in the food a very sad thing ! I hope the owners see this review because the owners do take a lot of pride in their food and business to let the kids run it into the ground is very sad .

Horrible. Order completely wrong. Big loss of money. Don't waste your time. Ordered giant burrito with staek, got small burrito with chicken, ordered flauta combo got rolled hard tortilla no meat no sides.

This is my 2nd visit. Yay, real silverware. Cheese enchilada was not warm and cheese was not melted inside or out. Chicken enchilada was not good because the chicken was so dry I could not eat most of it. Sampled the quac and it was good. No one came to check on me to see if I was happy with the meal or to ask if I needed anything otherwise I would told them about my meal. Not sure I will return again. So much potential, great location but food needs a lot of improvement. Also needs better customer service.

Just tried this local stop. Service was fast, food was absolutely spectacular and huge portions. Supernachos were great. Could have served four people at least. Great find thanks to my husband and son
