Cuban Cafe

Food is classic american comfort food with a New Mexican flavor.The service is wholesome and kind.Ambiance is right out of a Hallmark movie.Great experience!!!!

Driving home from Chaco Canyon & i wanted something for lunch that wasn't instant or cooked over a campfire. ;)Got place was open on a Sunday & had great ratings. Friendly, prompt service. At the server's recommendation as her VERY favorite, I tried the smothered breakfast Burrito. (I ordered the "half". .. it was huge! Glad i didn't order he whole!) I had bacon & "Christmas" chiles to try both. Both were good & moderately spicy. It took nearly the WHOLE Burrito, but I finally decided I like the green chiles slightly better. ;)Good prices. Clean clean bathroom (not gender-neutral). Easy parking. They have a "back room" with a large table for a group.

Stopped in on our way back home to Mississippi. Ordered a grilled ham and cheese (with tortilla chips and fresh salsa), tamale plate, Ed's burger and a regular burger. We were thoroughly satisfied. It was a great meal. The server was polite and very attentive although the restaurant was busy.

Had the carne adovada and it was tender and flavorful. Accompanied by eggs and hash browns which were also good. Clean restaurant and very nice and attentive service.

Ed's Cuban Cafe is a most delicious place to eat! Nothing fancy, just great food, hot coffee, and friendly waitresses, all at a great price!

When I walked in with my children, everyone of the customers and staff, stopped talking and stared at me and my children. Right then my children and I should have left. I learned from another business in Cuba,NM. Yes another Store in Cuba. Word gets around in that Village. Part of it was because we were out of town. Another reason, 2 of my children are mixed, I was being judged because my family is blended. RUDE!!! Anyway As I begin paying my bill the lady behind the counter said "the burning question is are y'all passing through or are y'all gonna be living here "? All i said was we are here with my husband, he is here momentarily working. Her next question "are all the children yours"? I simply said yes. I will not be back to eat at the Cuban Cafe in Cuba,NM. They are Rude and Judgmental!!!! The only reason I gave it 2 stars food was good and our waitress was nice.

Around Chaco Canyon there's not many dining choices so we tried the Cuban Cafe. Very much a local cafe with very friendly service. I had the Club Sandwich which was interesting - for example rather than shaved ham it was one very thick slice, almost like a ham steak. It was good. My wife had a grilled chicken salad which she liked - we also had the sweet potato fries which were also good. I'd give it four stars considering the food was good and the service really nice.

This is a little hidden gem. The Mexican food is authentic and delicious and has favor. The Sopapillas are the best I've ever had. Service is awesome. The tea is fresh and they have really good ice. Our food came out fast. I would recommend this place. They have a variety of choices on the menu.

Fantastic chile. Perfect tacos and sopaipillas. Very friendly service. Good prices.
