CU Auto Sales

Well they sold us a vehicle with loads of problems, they refused to work out the problems despite our calling a few weeks after purchase and then a month after purchase. I mean it became clear to me that they just wanted the money over their reputation. They knew we were new in town. I am not sure if this was a racial discrimination thing, or a we aren't from New Mexico thing but after paying full price and cash for a car that can't make it to Santa Fe I would recommend finding another shop to buy a used car from.

Well to up, date our recent reviews 2018 ford f150 , boy did we get screwed big time ,we have had truck for a year, noting but problems , YES been under water , found some phone numbers on ph connection memory , apparently some one got drowned in arroyo flood , we also found that who ,ever replaced wind shield , didnt seal it properly,, we finally took it to a shop they said the water has ruined the computer system under the dash they have changed the Eletronic control module full of rust , my wife won't get in it since she got locked in it last week ,what a nightmare , if it doesn't get fixed were going to file law suit , we have enough proof now , what a shame i have a att all ready so get ready cu you could made this right Mike G

Have purchased 3 vehicles from cu in last 5 years, love the vehicles they have in inventory, love the easy purchase, no pressure, no commission salespersons, and love being able to deal easily with my credit union for financing. Highly recommend if you don't like the sales experience at dealerships and want to know the actual price of a vehicle you are purchasing, from the moment you view the vehicle online. We were ready to purchase a vehicle but supposedly their system that connects with the financial institutions was down on the day my pregnant wife was in to make the purchase. I spoke with the manager Damian and was assured he would reach out as soon as the system was back up to continue the purchase. Unfortunately, he didn't reach out like he said he would and when my wife went back in to inquire about it they were not willing to assist her with the purchase. Very strange and unsettling behavior from this dealership. I also inquired about their Warranty program "First Automotive" since the vehicle was used and after conducting a bit of reasearch learned that they have a poor rating by the bbb and many upset customers by cases that were not actually covered by the supposed "elite warranty". BUYERS BEWARE. This place goes on the shady list. On a positive note we ended up purchasing our new vehicle Certified Pre-Owned directly from the dealership for a better price and with the confidence of the actual brand warranty. I would stay away from CU Automotive as they seem shady in their business practices and not attentive to the experience of their potential customers who are ready to make a purchase.
