My call to the company was a great experience. I had a refrigerator which was loosing it's cool (haha). The phone rep efficiently accommodated me and scheduled an appointment within a couple of hours. CP arrived quickly and diagnosed the problem in no time. The rep replaced a broken fan motor. He also made another fix, free of charge. My frig is now working great. When I asked him to look at my dryer, he did so with no additional charge. My dog loved him. The poor guy was very patient as my dog became somewhat obsessed with his gloves and took them out of his carrying case. The rep was a doll. He was courteous, friendly, professional and explained everything clearly.Service was a bit pricey, but that seems to be the norm in the appliance repair biz.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience here. A friend recommended the work they had done, so I called to get an estimate and was told I had to make an appointment to get an estimate. First, I was given a time window 12-4, and the rep called at 1030 saying he was on the way. I had ALREADY taken off of work for the whole afternoon because there was no specific time given..then I had to take a break earlier, drive across town, and go back to work!! I was NEVER was told there would be a charge, and when the rep came, he said the part is no longer available and then charged me 65$. I called to recommend that they inform callers that there was a fee to give an estimate, and the owner was completely unprofessional, saying things like "I don't know what you want from me", "I tell people 100% of the time that theres a fee"(obviously not), and "maybe you just dont have enough money to pay for it, thats why you are calling". I even offered to meet in the middle and take a credit of half instead of asking for a full refund, on the principal of it all- and she still had the nerve to insult me. I would not even waste your time here.

CP and Sons was recommended to me as I didn't know who to call for decent appliance repair. After calling them with a refrigerator issue, they were courteous and efficient, sending a technician out that very afternoon! And because I needed them to visit a rental property, they called me when they were on their way, when they were at the property, and once they'd made a diagnosis of the issue. Anthony their tech even called back to their office to see if they had a refurbished unit I could purchase once he told me how far gone mine was! So I can't comment on their actual work, as I only had them diagnose, not repair as it wasn't worth it, but their customer service alone will keep me coming back! And I've already recommended them to someone at work!

I had a broken refrigerator, they sent out Anthony quickly and he diagnosed it with a bad defrost module and quoted me $175. When I asked how much the part was he said $75. When I gawked at the price he offered me a $25.00 discount. Standing there with wasted food in a pickle I had little choice but to authorize the repair or risk paying $55.00 for nothing. So he repaired it but the tenant called back the next day that it was in fact still not working. So Anthony returned the next day promptly again and was willing to repair it for no additional cost if it were the relay switch but turns out it was the compressor and he said it was not worth it to repair it so he refunded me 101.00 of my 160 paid. So I paid 60.00 for nothing oh and the $75.00 part was $9.00 at Sears, max I found it was $22.00 on Amazon.I think it is sad that these companies take advantage of your situations and I always try and support local but I would not call these guys again. Although I am grateful to have gotten some of my money back I missed four hours of work and still had to buy a new fridge.

Carlos came over and gave me his opinion on my broken refrigerator. His diagnosis was quick and his hourly cost was lower than 3 other companies I called. He was honest about the state of my fridge and recommended I buy a new one instead of having him repair mine 2-3 times. I will call this guy again.

I googled dryer/washer repairs and this company surfaced. The online reviews were good, not on yelp though. I called them up and spoke with Maria. Maria scheduled to have Carlos come on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Carlos came to house and told him that I had checked the wires and one had melted. He diagnosed all the other wires to make sure they were good. He replaced the tip of the wire, reconnected, and tested the dryer. It worked. When I asked if he took credit cards (which I did earlier with Maria), he said he it would be $85 and if with cash it would be $75. I always asked if credit cards can be taken to pay for services and ask again to make sure. Otherwise, Carlos did a good job. He was nice, helpful, explained the wire components.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY and THEIR UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! I hired this company on 5/16/2019 to look at my GE Monogram refrigerator. The technician arrived and was here 5 minutes and told me I needed a compressor and inverter. The estimate was $1,971.38 for the repair. Something didn't seem right, so I started researching how to troubleshoot the problem myself and determined that it was just the inverter board which cost me $140. After replacing the inverter and plugged the refrigerator in, the compressor came on right away. So, needless to say I didn't need a compressor. I contacted the company to express my dissatisfaction with their service and asked for a refund for the service call that misdiagnosed my issue. The company responded that they wouldn't refund the money.

You find out how good a company is after something goes BAD. So far I have dealt with Anthony and Carlos. They were very upfront about the condition of my oven and recommended that i don't fix it. That is so honest of them. Anthony even looked up what other appliance repairmen say about my specific model. When the home insurance insisted on repairing it CP &Sons got it done fast. They got the part in 2 days faster than expected and installed it asap. When it promptly broke again ( as predicted by Anthony ) he helped me discuss it with the insurance company so they would see why this is exactly what he said would happen. Finally the insurance Co replaced my oven. But that's not all. When I paid CP to install the new one, Carlos went the extra mile to make sure it was converted and installed correctly. There was a miscommunication about what was expected to be here and what was actually here for him when he arrived. But Carlos didn't let that stop him. I am very impressed with this company. I feel safe having them in my home. Carlos and Anthony are high quality people.

Stumbled upon this company on the internet & so glad I did. Prompt return of my phone call, was able to get a fast appointment, and Anthony arrived early (after calling me first to see if that worked for me). He was extremely polite & knowledgeable. My dryer was fixed in record time to my satisfaction. I will definitely call him again when I need an appliance repaired. A great company!!!
