I really like the service here and the price is very fair. Service is always very timely and the people are aways very polite and professional, I pass others propane companies to use this one.

I don't know who answers the phone but she is a total you know what. Since Chuck left they suck. He was the only friendly person there. Businesses forget we are their customers and we have an option to change service. Currently looking for a new company. Any suggestions?

I wrote a negative review a few years ago and it's no longer appearing in their review portfolio.... (only ones written by friends or fake accounts are appearing). Fun update: they sent someone to auto-refill our tank 1.5 years after the last refill and after we cancelled our account (eye roll emoji here). When we called to remind them that we cancelled our account 18 months ago, the receptionist said, "oh yeah; I see it here." We had asked them to remove our credit card from their files too, but they hadn't. 100% incompetence! Really?? You haven't been here in 1.5 years, and we only now need a propane refill in our auto-refill subscription??

First time I needed my tank filled within 7 days. They charged me an extra $50 to come 5 days after I ordered. So much for customer loyalty!!!

Once again Paul from Country Gas comes to the rescue when we had a problem with our propane fired central furnace. In 2011, when we first started as a new customer with Country Gas, he correctly diagnosed the issue with the furnace pilot going out on cold nights as being a problem with the combination flue/combustion air pipe up through the roof. Seems the previous owner damaged the roof part of the combination pipe when replacing the roof and exhaust gas was flowing back down the combustion air channel on cold nights and extinguishing the pilot flame. Problem was easily fixed once diagnosed. Now, in 2021, he once again comes to the rescue when the burner flame was significantly reduced on a couple of nights with near 0 degree overnight temperatures. Seems we had some moisture in our regulator which was freezing and preventing regulator from providing enough propane gas to keep the normal size flame in the combustion chamber. The smaller flame would stay on while the fan switch kept turning the fan on and off because the combustion chamber wouldn't stay hot enough to keep the fan switch on. Adding some methanol to the tank and purging the moisture from the regulator with methanol has solved the problem.Great service from a great company. Also, their option to have your tank level checked regularly by their drivers and fill ups without having to deal with it yourself avoids having an empty tank, or a low level of fuel when a big storm come through!

Person answering the phone; So Rude! I had questions and was treated like a recalcitrant child. Went to the next propane company on the search and was treated like a valued customer with exactly the same set of questions.

I recently bought a house in the area and called Country Gas to have the propane tank filled. They said I had to come into their office to fill out an application; over the phone or online is not an option. I asked if I needed to bring anything and they said "no".I took off work to get there before 5pm (when they close) and they asked if I owned the tank. I replied that the sellers discolsure statement states that I am the owner. They replied that I need to get the tank serial number and call all the other companies in the area to verify that no one else is the owner. As a non-propane expert and new to the area, I have no clue who the other propane companies are. I also do not have the time or patience to find and call all of them. Finally, if I did call them all, most likely Country Gas would not take my word and they would expect written proof from all the propane companies in the area. They obviously do not want my business.
