Cottonwood on the Greens

Given the outside of the building, the inside is pretty innocuous. My group of 6 was seated quickly and provided menus.We placed drink and food orders and those came out fairly quickly. I was quite pleased with my hotdog and the Chicago style accouterments. I upped my side to a garden salad and that was good as well. Wasn't overwhelmed about the coffee.

Second time I've been in the last month because I thought the first time might have been an anomaly. It wasn't. It's just bad. The menu is massive and expensive. The food looks and tastes like it came from a frozen block straight off of a Sysco truck. Both times I had to ask my server for my beverage after ordering -- they forgot. I ordered green chili scalloped potatoes as a side and was asked to order a different side; the scalloped potatoes, in my server's words, "aren't any good right now."Final nail in the coffin was an $11 piece of chocolate cake, which I expected to be either giant in size or deliciously homemade, hopefully both. It was neither. It was of average size, bone dry, yet also drizzled with Hershey's chocolate syrup. Awful. Worst $120 I've ever spent on a meal for four. Never going back.

Found this place WAYYY too expensive for the quality. I read the reviews here and people were right, it's mediocre. Also along with other reviews, unsurprised that it was empty when we went. Also the nachos were dry... & the cheese was hard. And the lettuce was overpriced and DIRTY... that's like ASKING for e.coli...Staff was very kind though.Maybe I'm biased, I don't find the appeal of a golf course in the desert though so maybe my view of the golf course skewed the taste of the food.

I ordered the southwest chicken. Dry chicken with obviously bagged frozen veggies, the rice pilaf and corn were okay. Service was good, place itself is nice. But $24 for frozen food and dry dry unseasoned chicken is ridiculous. Save your money and just get beers here.

I'm not sure what's going on with the reviews here lately, but I loved my meal this past Saturday! The bartender got us set up at a table and provided great service. Our drinks and food came out quickly and I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience for a late lunch. I had the Gorgonzola Gnocchi ($13) and added shrimp ($7) and it was delicious! The Gorgonzola was powerful and creamy and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I also had some of the Gyro which was also pretty good and I really liked the chunky French fries that it came with. I definitely will be back for more food. It's a great spot before or after hitting some balls outside at the golf course.

Very expensive, and not very good. Food seemed old like they cooked it earlier in the morning and wasn't a big selection for the price.

the food isn't terrible, but it's extremely expensive for what you get. $20 shouldn't be the cost of a mediocre (at best) green Chile cheese burger. I'm unsurprised the place was empty.

I tried the yak burger and I enjoyed it. I like that they have a ton of different burger meat selections. Great fries too. I tried the pizza a couple of weeks ago and it too was pretty good. Nice staff as well.

I recently had to go here again. The owner is a JERK. The server was super nice. Food is edible.

BF and I always have excellent service and excellent food. My favorite is the rueben. It's a huge serving. BF likes the salads. We like the food. We like the people. We like the views of the golf course while we eat. We have showed up when they're busy without a reservation and got seated promptly.
