Copper Ridge Apartments

Run do not walk the other way if you are considering moving to these apartments. My bad experience started on move in day. I was told I could not move in the same day I was supposed to move in. I had a 200 dollar u haul outside with all of my stuff in it ready to move in to be told the apartment was not ready. They tried to cover their error saying they called I received no call no voice-mail. This was eventually rectified and I was able to move my stuff in but some things like the shower and holes in the wall were not fixed. It is a failure on my part as I should have asked to run through the apartment before renting. They are trying to update the apartments but the contractor they used failed the renovations are cheaply done. I will give them some credit for fixing the whole in the wall. My next issue is the cockroaches. I expect some insects in this city but they were everywhere I was scared to sleep . They did make an effort to spray a few times and now that the cold weather is here it is not so bad. I am worried when the heat starts warming up again about cockroaches. I was told when I moved in the utilities usually are never more then 200 dollars and I got a surprise 414 dollar utility payment due. We are not there half the day Monday through Friday. They do not have individual meters they calculate utilities based on the Sq ft of your apartment so if you have a bigger apartment you are paying more even if you don't use much electricity. Basically you are paying for other peoples usage because your apartments bigger regardless of your usage.I am paying 1520 dollars for a 3 bedroom and 414 dollars for 1 month of utilities.I can never get anyone on the phone and I have to send at least three emails before anyone responds to me of they even dl.Harley the manager does not respond timely. To top it off my heater is not working maintenance didnt fix now have to wait for them again. I do not want to be one to be complaining about issues constantly. I just want a decent place to live with my children.These apartments are not worth almost 2000 dollars a month. Consider elsewhere so you don't get trapped like my family is currently. All we can do is wait for this lease to be up.11/15/2022 Still having issue with cockroaches as they are renovating upstairs have gotten no response as when pest control will continue.None of my windows lock anyone can come in if they choose to. Owners let me out of this lease! Have another outrageous bill 355 dollars for one month. DO NOT RENT HERE PEOPLE!Homeless people constantly walking around they do not close or lock the gates. I also just seen on the news two murders here in the year. I wish I would have seen this before. I know this is Albuquerque but they just rent to anyone apparently.12/24/22 323 dollar utility bill for one month again paying for other peoples utilities. 01/20/2023 Got abothee surprise 544 dollar utility bill water qwnt from 21 dollars last month to 225 this month.Who can afford this for one month of services. I'm paying for everybody else's utilities with these shared meters. I WANT OUT of this lease! Do not move here !

This place is a shithole. They didn't do anything to have this apartment ready for us. We had a list of this we asked them to fix before we moved in. NOTHING Was fixed. I believe they didn't care. Knowing we were moving from another state. Still weeks later they have not fixed all of what was asked. They are always running out of things. Like poop bags for the dogs. You want us to pick up the shit well provide the shit bags. We were told the pool would only be closed on Monday. It true. It keeps being closed on weekends. Even after we asked to make sure it would be open for my daughters bday party. It was closed and no one would reply. I would rather live down the street on the corner then here.

I've lived here for 4 years and if given the option I woukd remain here. The only problems I've had are with my neighbors down below me who lived here 10 years and before me no one lived above them. They continue to complain anytime my grand kids visit and its just easier to move than deal with the hassel. Other than that lovely place quiet and they usually do apartment gatherings in the office for hollidays. I will miss this place greatly when I move as well as the beautiful views of the mountains from my front porch.

I loved this place for years. It was my home and I loved most my neighbors and views. However it has switched management several times one of my neighbors is constantly complaining on me about my daughter playing she's 3 and is usually in bed by 9 pm the "quiet time" set in our lease. They used to knock on my door constantly demanding I keep her quiet one time we where sitting on the floor rolling a tiny ball back and forth at 4 in the afternoon. They call security on me when we had it so much we actually became on first name basis with the security officers. This neighbors 19 year old son has kicked in my front door when my husband didn't want him to come in because we had company. We told the office they gave a 3 day notice to "fix the behavior or be terminated" a few months later the dad tries to start a fight with my brother who was visiting again we tell the office "3 day warning" than a few months later the son comes outside high or drunk or both with knives trying to stab anyone he sees runs up to my other neighbor and tries stabbing him. Gets in a fight with his little brother and they end up rolling around on the hood of my car and stabbing each other. Said other neighbor calls the cops and the mother comes out of her apartment cussing out my husband and calling him every name possible because she insists he called the cops. My car had blood and deep scratches all over the hood and they cracked my windshield. Again the office gives a 3 day warning. New management comes in again and guess what said neighbors run to the office and say all the same lies about us and now this new management refuses to renew our lease based off of what they heard from these people and no other reason. Since it's not a eviction I've been told I can do nothing about it. I sincerely warn anyone not to live here they keep the trash and make excuses to get rid of the ones who are minding their own business and keeping to themselves.

I love the service and people here they are amazing jasmine helped us with our move in she was so sweet and amazing, outgoing and very nice to get along with !!

I can't tell you how many times I've woken up for work, and the water has been shut off for HOURS. Most of the time until I get off work. without a 24 hour notice. CONSTANTLY. First of all it's illegal to do that without notice. Second of all, it's screwed up. If I had known how often I'd have to deal with this, ESPECIALLY WITHOUT NOTICE 97% of the time. I would have taken my $1400 to a better side of town not 3 minutes from central. And I don't have water at least 4 days out of the month without notice

So been here about two months and are a/c is making this crazy noise, it was struggling to turn on, I checked the filter and it was clogged meaning they never changed anything before we moved in we call the emergency number and no call back till the next day then they tell us it's not an emergency unless it gets past 94 degrees like really we paying to live here and then tell us they will get to it when they can.
