Copper Canyon Cafe

I had always wanted to try and was able to visit recently! Greeted by friendly new owner as of Jan. 3rd. Found out that pies and desserts are made in-house. They were tempting to order, but left full. I ordered the Grand Canyon omelette with four eggs; it came with a choice of toast or pancakes. I chose the two big pancakes you can see in one of my pics. The breakfast was OK. I know it said 4 eggs, but the omelette didn't appear as large as I thought it would be. I had ordered potatoes (papitas) and was given hash browns, though cooked perfectly. I didn't bother the waiters to fix the issue as the hash browns were fine. And the pancakes were fine--I feel I've had better pancakes, but there was nothing wrong with these. They were big and fluffy. My friend got the lunch special of the day which was the Indian taco. Huge! Very good. I was amazed by the specials each day, and I look forward to trying this place again.

First this place has the propensity for a Five Star review. I got breakfast enchiladas and my wife Navajo huevos. The portions were huge and flavor fantastic. The food was served quickly but otherwise the server really didn't check on us very often. I'll definitely be back, but hopefully next time with a more proactive server.

Great service and was pretty fast during lunch. It was pretty typical New Mexican. Good food, not great. The green chili wasn't full of flavor but it wasn't bad either. Worth another try. My first time there.

Solid cafe for breakfast with all the usual options and good prices for the amount of food you get. I had the Copper omelet with hash browns. Wait staff was very friendly and managed our large group very well. The dining room is spacious and has a back room for larger parties.

I had not been here in a few years, staff was super friendly in a nice way, food was great, we were there just a hour before closing, food was as or more delicious than i remembered, and prices were great (like pre pandemic)

As they say "this place used to be good back in the day". Good does not even come close to what this place is. I ordered a classic huevos rancheros meal. The eggs were raw, the beans were overly salty, and the hashbrowns tasted like Clorox wipes. I got five bites in and threw it all up. I am so fortunate that I did not get food poisoning. My partner got enchilada breakfast and the chicken appeared to be canned and cold. The food full of grease! I will NEVER be going to this place again.

Great mom and pop feel. The food was excellent and it appeared that the staff were familiar with their regulars. The hot chocolate and food were flavorful and I will definitely go back if I'm in Albuquerque again. Kudos!!!

A nice restaurant with a good menu selection, reasonable prices and friendly service. I was in the mood for a Belgium Waffle so I decided to try this restaurant. I got there about a half an hour before closing and go seated immediately. Waffle was good and I got it topped with blueberries and whipped cream. I did notice they had a pumpkin pie in the dessert cabinet which is nice to see outside of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I definitely will try this restaurant again.

Worst experience in my memory. Ignored by 2 waitstaff on either side of my table. Watched 3 more tables seated after me, drinks order taken and 2 of those served. I decided to leave after noticing those tables received their food, all before even being asked what to drink. Approached the manager to state my dissatisfaction and he could barely manage a half hearted apology, with no interest in in making sure the customers are at least served, let alone satisfied. Poorest form of leadership and customer service I've seen...

Good food, good service, and a great location in close proximity to the Albuquerque International Airport. We had an early morning breakfast before our flight out of Albuquerque and the location and ambience was perfect for our meal!
