Been buying our chili here for years. Great family run business. Amazing chili from Lemitar. Always roasted perfect. We moved away from abq last year but drove back from San Antonio to buy chili from "our place".

Best green chili in Albuquerque. They get it from Lemitar and they are nice and thick chilies. They roast them to perfection! Can't go wrong with these guys.

This place was a really good place to get chile over the years. Now that the old man isnt there the family has it and its not the same. We have been going there for years until now. When the old man was there you could buy a honest 40lb sack of green chile. Now they advertise 40lb sacks for $30 roasted, which would be fine if they were 40lb bags. We felt cheated when we saw them open up the wired sacks and take green chile out of them before sending it to the roaster. About a quarter of the bag. Not kidding. Pretty shady way to do business. This happened on two sacks we purchased. Now my family and I will have to find another place to go. To bad because we really liked the chile there over the years. (What grandma doesnt know wont hurt her I guess.) ***To the man selling the chile, be honest. Your dad wouldn't be happy about you cheating his long time loyal customers!***
