My installation went smooth but when I tried to call for a simple question, no call back. Then I referred a coworker and I was supposed to get a referral check, guess what? No check. Then they caused a huge leak in my coworkers ceiling. I've called multiple times for my referral check and never once got a call back. My poor coworker has had a leaky roof for over three weeks, it's monsoon season, and he has called mulitple times and emailed CST dozens of times about this ceiling repair and guess what? No call back. He physically had to go to their business to track a manager down.Don't use CST for solar!Terrible customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!

how is this place still in business?! Very rude customer service, called me a liar when I told them I installed my own solar on my home and that it couldn't be done. They refused to sell me any equipment and had to go elsewhere. All they were interested in was selling some $15,000 system that was only 3k in size ??!! NUTS, go do it yourself, you can with the help of a licensed electrician, 1/4 of the cost from CST...!! I found veterans solar equipment online here in Albuquerque and got more help from him than a huge company...Don't ever tell me I cant do it myself CST !!

If I could choose zero stars, I would. The installation was behind by months. Savings and tax credits that they communicated to me have not materialized (and never will). I can't adequately convey how much you should run in the opposite direction. There are other options in solar; find one that will honor their word.

Well, when the rubber hits the road....as they say...That's when you get a "true measure" of a company! After 4 1/2 years my inverter (a SunPower product) went bad!! NOT good!, as without this NONE of the power being produced by the Solar Panels Installed by CST Solar is going to the "grid" to credit my account as far as power produced or REC Credits. So I called CST and yes they came out and trouble shot the system and YEP, the inverter needs to be replaced!! Yep all the PRIME SOLAR hours of SUNLIGHT that is going by on my panels is for NADA. So, fine, I said to myself, let's check CST Customer service! Sure, it's really not that much...when all is said and done my system should be "down" for about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks...I'll be missing all that power generation "opportunities."The incredibly sad thing is that it really would not be that much for CST to say "What do we have to do to make things right?" I'm not asking for a million dollars, just the amount that I'm missing by not generating power when the equipment CST Solar installed and is not OUT OF SERVICE pending a TOTAL replacement of the inverter. CST is CLEARLY not in the business of making satisfied, happy customers. Lori in the office is not reasonable at all, nor easy to work with.My bottom line is this....do your research when investing in a company to install solar on your home. It's a big big investment that you want good customer service before and AFTER the SALE. In my opinion, CST Solar is not worth it!! There are other SUNPOWER dealers in the New Mexico area and having it to do over, I would probably go with ANOTHER dealer.

I contacted CST last year about the possibility of installing solar on my roof and got a call back almost immediately from Katie who answered all my questions and helped me find local financing and kept me informed on the status of my project. The installation crew was professional and did a good job the system was installed in a timely manner and has worked without a hitch since July of 2016. All in all a very positive experience.

Simply terrible. Terrible customer service. Behind schedule on the install. Refuse to call me back.I do not usually post reviews, but feel that this negative review is important.We contacted the company late last year, 2015, in order to take advantage of the state rebates. They promised us an early spring install. Come summer, still not up and running. And when the state rebate money ran out we were furious. There has been excuse after excuse first about the install then about getting the system up and running started with we are busier than expected, then the panels were back ordered, then there was a problem getting inspections scheduled. They are slow to return phone calls. We are lucky if they call back within two weeks of a call. Please use another company.
