Lots of comic books!
Never judge a book by it's cover, nor the store by the door
Current issues.
So many comics!!

Don't let the abundance of stuff turn you off; you are bound to find something at Comic Warehouse! We were looking for old Punisher comics and found a whole box of them! Always a nice surprise to find a good selection. The lady at the counter was very nice. I'm sure we'll be back for another comic hunt.

Located in a small strip mall, the store is clean and the staff very friendly an dc knowledgeable. I found some great deals here and plan on visiting again, next time I am in Albuquerque.

I just moved back to Albuquerque about a year ago after a long hiatus living around the country. I remember when I was a 90s kid growing up in the ABQ, and being a massive nerd *which I am to this day*, this place was a type of mecca to me. Lately I've been getting the hankering to get back into comics. I remembered this place from my days as a wee lad and realized it's only about a mile from my house, so I stopped by one sweltering afternoon. The place is clean and there's plenty of space. I've been to some comic shops around the country that are just crammed full of stuff *which isn't a bad thing* and you are elbow to elbow with other geeks trying to get their, um, geek on.I was browsing the new stuff, which they have tons, it's kind of intimidating really, but their selection is solid. If you're looking for current stuff, there's a good chance you will find it. While I was browsing, I got a stern "PUT YOUR BACKPACK UP FRONT" from an sassier older woman. I guess with the high percentage of less than stellar citizens that I see around those parts at times, it's store policy. Fair enough. I left the new stuff since I don't even know where to begin right now and made a beeline for the back issues. The selection was good. I browsed through 90s "X" mutant type titles and they had a few copies of every issue almost. Couldn't ask for better. The prices were a little high IMO for back issues, but I understand they are running a business and have bills to pay and I could be totally off on the value of older comics. I plan to pick up some more older comics and do a little bit of research on what I want and what I should expect to pay. Hey, us nerds gotta watch our scratch as well. What made this trip though was the older gentleman who helped me out. He was very chill and polite. I've been to some comic stores in the past where the staff had ZERO social skills/ were WAY TOO PUSHY to sell you anything they could/ or they just didn't even care. Needless to say, when a consumer has questions and money to spend, it's in your best interest to make the experience pleasant as possible. After some chit chat over older comics, the older gentleman offered to help me find whatever I needed in their "large inventory" of back issues they keep in the back. That's all I needed to hear. Someone willing to help me hunt down the issues I have been looking for. =)Needless to say, I like the place. I plan to spend more time there in the future seeing whatever else they have to offer since I came in about 30 mins before they closed, I kinda did a "rush job" to find something that would satisfy me. Overall, Cleanliness = 5/5Customer service = 5/5 if you leave your backpack up frontSelection = 4/5 *Depends on what else stock they have and what other items they offer, I need a second look* If anything, I plan to get into comics more. And if the prices on their back issues hurt my wallet too much, I'll at least go to Comic Warehouse for my current issue fix and friendly geek lingo.

Comic Warehouse is an amazing shop with one of the best selections of new and older comics. Really like it and is the first place I go for a hard to find issue. The employees are always very helpful and when they have a sale on back issues I tend to spend. Great shop!

Family run store that everyone joins in to assist with friendly conversation about comics and a whole lot more. A hearty thank you for another awesome visit and looking forward to the next. If you know exactly what you are looking for and have been there a thousand times, then by all means go. If not, don't waste your time. The guy working on 14 Oct 16 at 3:30pm could care less. No greeting when I walked in. I wandered for 1/2 an hour looking for some specific comics. No "Can I help you?" no, "Is there something I can help you find?" Nothing. So I put back the few comics that looked interesting and left. Finally said, "Have a nice day." They must have hooploads of customers. Because they demonstrated that they don't need anymore. I'll go to Astro Zombie instead. I msy try again IF I get some sort of response. If I don't, then my summation must be correct.
