Club Champion - Albuquerque

Just wanted to tell everyone about Club Champions and my personal club fitter Matt Rish. I am 6'6" tall and I can't just take a set of clubs off the rack and use them. Every club I have in my bag has been personally fitted and measured for me by Matt Rish at Club Champion. I have done personal settings with him on several occasions wherein we take four or five different brands of clubs and mix and match with 4 or 5 different shafts to find the perfect set-up for my game and my height. Matt is the most patient and knowledgeable club fitter I have ever come across. I have been playing golf for over 50 years and seen a lot of supposed club fitters, but Matt is the real thing. Totally professional, knows what he's talking and cares that he gets you set up with the best possible set of clubs available. Don't waste time with anyone else, go see Matt!!

Matt Rish was a friendly and knowledgeable pro! I am a hi-handicapper. He was not trying to push anything on me and he was patient while making the necessary changes to the clubs I was hitting. He made some tweaks to my putter instead of trying to sell me another one. We decided to stay with my driver and just change the shaft! There was no high-pressure sales pitch. I did buy a new set of irons that I can't wait to take to the course! I highly recommend Matt and Club Champion! Definitely worth the money! I will be using them again anytime I need clubs!

Matt was exceptional with not only his knowledge and expertise as a Club Champion employee, but also with his customer service. I have been a golfer all my life and will never get fit anywhere other than club champion. The Albuquerque location is new and great. I have never been fitted for a putter until today. It was a terrific experience. Matt Rish was very personable & did a good job of explaining the technology & then connected it to what the data was saying. I could see another version of what my putting stroke looked like & how toe hang can optimize the stroke. The SAM (science & motion) PuttLab used many data points to recommend a family of putters. Matt's observations of my setup & stroke came to the same conclusion. I appreciated Matt's patience as I tried a number of putters & made my final decision. The experience was fun & I look forward to receiving my new putter.

If I could give negative stars I would. I walked into this place looking for a golf bag, I was greeted by a gentleman who asked if I needed assistance. I was told everything needed to be ordered and the gentleman was more then willing to show me the bags online, another older gentleman whispered to him that it would be a waste of time and not to show me. This came off very poorly and I felt discriminated against. I will never return to this store

The fitting was very well done. He explained every step and was positive during the entire process. He answered all of my questions and, most importantly, took me through a lot of options. In the end , we found a club that showed a significant improvement over my current driver, and I am excited to see it translate to the course.

Wonderful experience working with Matt on a full bag fitting. Was completely honest about which clubs were already a good fit and which ones I could improve by replacing. He helped dial in my new clubs and old clubs with loft, lie and swing weight. I have never felt more confident in having the right equipment in my bag. Highly recommend!
