These folks are the reason that I get going early on Saturday mornings. They sell their wares at the Railyard Farmers' Market and everything I've tried is HEAVEN. My must-have is their Ciabatta loaf which lasts me a week if I'm judicious, and one meal if I share with dinner guests. They have an array of seasonal goodies: Apple strudel, pear tarts, sweet and savory croissants, and a currant scone with cardamom that is delightful. The booth is easy to find inside the building, it usually has a crowd five-deep.

Heard alot about this bakery so decided to give it a try at the Santa Fe Farmers Market. Ordered the cardomin cinnamon role and to my surprise it was very stale, like a 2 day old cinnamon roll not fresh at all. Very disappointed!

My question about this place is, since his physical location has been closed for some time, where is he making the bread? Not allowed to cook at your house to sell at the market. Needs to be done in a commercial kitchen. He is grandfathered into the market. Very abrasive man who owns it. Or did.

This business closed at the Second Street location years ago. The owner claimed it was due to a rising minimum wage in Santa Fe, but the reality is, that the service was terrible (he made no effort to train wait staff), the recipes for the meal items were very mediocre, and the bakery section employed twice the number of staff needed. He seems to run the bakery section as a charity for Tibetan refugees needing jobs. If he'd streamlined his operation and hired experienced wait staff, and improved his lunch and dinner fare just a little, the business could easily have covered the cost of a couple of extra bucks/hr. in staff wages. Too bad; the place had a lot of potential. The breads at the farmers' market are good, if you can get them fresh.

This bakery has the most amazing and fresh breads. Unbelievable how yummy they are. Their customer service, however, is lacking. Finding the bakery entrance is rather confusing, and while trying to figure out which gate to go through, the owner pulled up in the spot next to me and told me I couldn't park there. I assured him that I was there for the bakery and was trying to find the entrance. He proceeded to tell me that the spot was reserved for a worker he had coming, even though the spot was labeled "Cloud Cliff Customer Parking", and told me I could park "down there a ways". I'll continue to support them at the Railyards, but I won't be visiting the bakery again.
