So my hair is difficult, weirdly wavy curly and prone to looking terrible in the hands of a careless stylist who cuts it like it's straight. Tucked away just off Central on Amherst, the salon itself is gorgeous: beautiful high ceilings, a warm, relaxing atmosphere, and really pleasant, friendly employees. Following the Yelp reviews, I asked for Sasha. You should also ask for Sasha, because she's amazing. She asked all the right questions, really listened to my answers, and gave me a cut that makes my difficult hair look great while being very easy to style. And for an incredibly reasonable price given the quality of her service. I am thoroughly impressed, and will be coming back.

I recently moved to Albuquerque looking for a great hairstylist. I'm so lucky I found Jessica she did a fantastic job and listened to everything that I wanted done with my hair. She's extremely warm and welcoming and a joy to be around. Thank you, Jessica!! :)

What a cozy and friendly spot here in the heart of the nob hill district! Jessica did a great job with my head and hair, she is a professional with both the trimmers and the clippers, in the end state I looked as handsome as a lion! I hear they are also great at hair coloring and blending, all in all a must stop! The prices are amazing.

I can finally stop my search for the perfect hairstylist. I really love Jessica. She patiently listens to me fumble around trying to say what I want, then delivers perfectly while actually making my round face look good and minimizing all my chins. Besides all that, she is easy going, likeable, and very reasonably priced. She has a really good eye for what works. Book early, cuz she has a huge clientele. No surprise there. Jody did an amazing job on my hair! I emailed the salon to see if there was a stylist who could work with my particular hair situation, and Carmel got back to me quickly and referred me to Jody. My hair is thick, yet fine, short and needed some recovery from some issues caused by another salon. Jody was straightforward about the fact that I'd be in an awkward grow out phase for a few weeks, but also made my hair look cute in the process. It has been one month and the cut still looks cute and is starting to grow into my goal look. She took the time to give me a few styling tips to get me through the grow out, which has made a difference.
