PROS: Location. If you want to be on the highest part of the heights. Landscaping: Nice landscaping with large trees,Parking: Covered garage for one car, and ample parking.pool is decent. Decent at repairing, the repair guy really does care.Spacious for an apartment.CONS: Omg!!!! VERY Extremely NOISY!!!!!! So I live over the MANAGER of the place-and you would think it would be super quiet--No its the noisiest place ever, thus the biggest downfall is regarding NOISE. You can hear EVERYTHING! I jump sometimes to let her know (in hopes she hears me jumping over here). I just cant imagine if someone that is not the manager is loud. I can hear them talking, laughing, even when the TV is not so high, I can hear their movies! By far the noisiest place I have ever lived in, and the by far the largest con. When she is not here, its heaven! I must say.I even talked to her and she gave the excuse of the TV being under some sort of Vent Duct. Then saying how she can hear me step (hence, dont ever go for a first floor unit lol) We had a deal where I will be careful to step softly and she will watch out for that TV. I have to say I feel she is trying, but even lowering it I can hear the words. And when they talk (oh god her BF is very loud) I can hear them so well. So its not that she is awful its the place that is so noisy! She also gave the excuse and said "that is apartment living, if you are uncomfortable with noise, then you should not live in an apartment"I did live in other apartments and yes there is always some noise but no, I dont hear people having a conversations.I sleep with a fan in my room to just try to cover the noise but you can hear it over that. And no they are NOT being loud, dont get the wrong picture, its that you can hear everything. If you are sensitive to noise like me, then I would say avoid at all costs, or if you are a light sleeper. It even bothers my 6 years old (I am single dad).OLD: Over all, the property is very old. The ceiling is full of some brown moss like thing hanging from it (seriously i can include a picture LOL) It was never cleaned since what, 1960? LOL I did try getting rid of it, ew. It was just too much.Even-though they remolded, its not posh lets just say that. SUMMARY:Due to the extreme and annoying "people" made noise, I think it ruins my experience here. If it was not for that, would give it 4 stars (one taken away for dirty ceiling and being such an old place-to some that might matter to some but it does not me its a small issue) However, evening and night, evening and night of that annoyance does get to your psyche at the end lol. Thus I had it and writing this review -I am really not the type for these things...I would say for this style place for two bedroom should be around $700, if quiet and you get good neighbors, then $850 is very acceptable (due to location).(Also I might be angry cuz my son and I couldnt sleep till the shut off their TV and that was 11:38PM! LOLOL.Now as I am writing this its loud again (All kind off annoyance)Even as I write this I can hear a conversation downstairs. Aggravating.By the way you can also hear neighbors from all 4 sides, however, I have SUPER good neighbors that dont stay up late so I dont mind, its only night time that bothers me, but if you really need quiet during the day too then you are for some real disappointments.

First of all -- this place is GREAT. I've been looking for another apartment complex for a long time -- almost two years. As often as I drove up and down Montgomery, I never gave this place a glance -- I would never consider a complex on Montgomery. However, Cibola Village caught my eye the other day. And to cut to the chase, I am now a resident! The complex is VERY clean. The apartments are clean and upgraded. My kitchen is SO big! And, just as important, the leasing process was SO easy and smooth, thanks to Brittany, the assistant manager, and to Sara, the manager. I even met Robert, one of the maintenance technicians, and he was nice too. It is important to me that I say that they all were genuinely nice -- not that fake nice with the plastic smiles and the fake happy voices. Oh, AND they have lived on the property and have worked there for a long time (which was important for me to know). If you're looking for a good apartment complex (did I mention that it is SO quiet -- of course, the pool isn't open yet -- LOL), give Cibola a good look. One last thing: this is a genuine and honest review. No one paid me anything or gave me anything for this review.

I've been living at these apartments for about 6 months, and I have no complaints. Good service, very responsive, and super quiet residents. Rent in ABQ is way too high, and that's not specific to this complex, but this complex is no exception to the price hikes. Staff is great and very helpful, especially maintenance. Bonus points for the little park in the middle of the complex, great for picnics.

Cibola Village in Albuquerque, New Mexico is a great place to live. I consider it to be more of a community than just an apartment complex. We have parties and participate in community yard sales. The people are very friendly - staff and residents.
