Christmas Shop

Having grown up not too far from the motherland of all "Christmas Shops" - Bronners...The "Christmas Shop" is a nice, smaller version, well worth the time to stop by and check out a surprisingly large selection of Christmas/Holiday decorative's. Also, every time we've stopped by, everyone there has been warm/friendly/courteous...and mind you, it's always been during their crazy Christmas Season. Also worth noting...they're very "stroller" friendly. With all the "things" one could "bump over" or "knock off"...they just welcome you in and ask how they can help! No guilt-pointed smirks or sighs, just smiles. :)There's something here for everyone - well worth the trip in...especially after the Christmas rush as well! :)

Every year I throw a Christmas Party and every year this place has been there for me so I can find some truly unique ornaments to add to my collection. They have a wonderful variety of local artists and styles and all of them are truly wonderful ornaments. Additionally, Denise is amazing. She's an incredibly friendly woman who is always there for a good conversation and friendly advice for a party. Cannot recommend this place enough, if you're in the old town area you have to check it out. It is well worth it. For a basic idea, last time I was there I found many tin ornaments made in the traditional style, some wonderful ornaments modeled after some Native American dolls (made by Native Americans artists as well) and some beautiful ornaments made in the kugel glass ornament style. All in all a wonderful collection.

Who doesn't love Christmas?!? Al Qaeda, maybe. But I think that even they might like this place. It's full of ornaments and Christmas decorations. There is Christmas music playing in the background. And the staff are really nice. They even come up with themed decorations from time to time to coincide with whats going on around the city or on the plaza. It's no surprise that this place gets really crazy around the holidays. But, try it "off season", in the summer for a little Noel pick-me-up. If you're even thinking ahead a bit, you can get some awesome deals on decorations or gifts for the upcoming holiday season. Definitely worth a visit.
