For first time investors, it doesn't get much better than Bob at Chocolate Properties. He really goes above and beyond the call of duty for a realtor. He walks you through the entire process and is generous with his time, his contacts, and all the forms you need so that you can locate the right property, fix up the property, and find the right tenant. He is a good realtor, but also a good mentor for those getting started in their real estate investment business.

Not really a good idea to keep properties advertised when they aren't available. It's misleading and an unprofessional business practice.

I have worked with Bob on several occasions and I just can't say enough what a help he was. He has always been willing to go the extra mile. His level of service has brought me great peace of mind in very stressful situations. He is genuinely a wonderful person and I would recommend him to anyone needing help with a real estate transaction or property management without hesitation.

Bob Dienst is amazing! Our experience with Chocolate Properties exceeded our expectations in every way and Bob really went above and beyond as our realtor. The level of service and communication throughout the process of selling our home was awesome and professional. Bob Dienst is the only realtor we will work with in Albuquerque. Take my advice and hire these folks as your realtors! 100 stars for Chocolate Properties.

I am in the business of leasing properties and this was one of the WORST EXPERIENCES I have EVER been through! We choose this house because my daughters go to the schools in the district and we have lived in this neighborhood for the last 6 years. My daughter was excited to get to walk to school. When Bob Deinst showed us the property he rushed us through the whole house which made me think he either didn't want us to notice details or didn't want us to lease there and just wanted us out. This was the first flag. Then, he kept asking questions like as if we were hiding things. Like as if we didn't make enough money or our credit wasn't good enough. Next, We decided to let it go, so we still submitted our applications. Carolyn called our references and she was really nice! After our applications came back FULLY APPROVED, Bob then wanted to meet the next couple of days to sign the lease and collect the security deposit. I asked him if we could do it on Fri (7 days away) when we got paid because we had just paid rent on the current place that we lived in. He could have cared less and said no that he needed that Saturday. Now mind you, We weren't going to move in till the end of FEBRUARY. When I called him and said that I was sorry I couldn't get the $1144 that he wanted in two days, he didn't like that. He said we could meet Monday but that that was it. He was incredibly rude on the phone and very demeaning. He said my sister and I were just giving him "excuses". I don't think my request of signing the lease 7 days later would have made THAT big of a deal. ANOTHER red flag. I had to end up hanging up on him because of his yelling and unprofessional behavior. After I got off the phone I was in shock. I couldn't believe it. We had done everything this guy asked and he could just careless about anything but the money. I have asked many of my colleagues that have been in the business for 10years+ and they came to the same conclusion: DISCRIMINATION. Which goes against fair housing laws here in NM. We have already filed a complaint with the state, because I feel NO ONE should EVER be treated this way! Now we understand why this house has been on the market for so long. They simply just didn't want two mothers in there. My sister and I were so excited to move into this house. We are all truly HEARTBROKEN.
