I drive by this place all the time and haven't been in in quite some time. I have to preface this with Chinese food as a pescatarian can be really really tricky - pork and other things sneak into the food fairly often so I'm always a bit wary. That said, I came in here on some recommendations from some vegans to finally give it a try. I got the crab rangoons and the sweet and sour shrimp. Both were absolutely delicious. The rangoons are interesting, they're flat which means a lot more filling ends up in them than in your traditional shape. There were also a lot of them for the price. The sweet and sour shrimp was cooked perfectly, it was a little light on vegetables, but the flavor was definitely spot on.The staff was all super friendly and very helpful. It's a small space in a little strip mall so a bit easy to miss but if you're in the area definitely stop by!

Love this locally owned restaurant. Owner knows what we want and how we like it every time. Food is always amazing, both dine in and take out are consistent each time. A great go to place for Chinese food.

We've been eating here for years. Dinner was not up to their usual standards tonight. Ordered the Special Family Dinner for Two for pickup. Received egg drop soup instead of the requested won ton, chicken lo mein had a total of two pieces of chicken in the entire order and General Tso's chicken was just fried pieces of breading, no chicken. And to top it off, see below photo of my fortune cookie. I hope they were just having a bad night.

Good Chinese food is something I cherish wholeheartedly, but China Garden misses that mark by quite a lot.First time I went here, I got the sweet and sour pork. Without the sauce, It was quite unremarkable in flavor and quite greasy.Second time I got the honey chicken. The honey sauce's flavor was quite good, as it was a straightforward honey sauce. However, there was legit more batter than chicken in each nugget! I could peel it off like you could peel off dead skin from a formerly blistering sunburn! I also find it comical that one of the dishes I could recommend is the "sesame chicken with diced chicken and lots of breading" because that is exactly what they did to the honey chicken! The final result flavor-wise was something as greasy as Julian from Trailer Park Boys! Also, talk about a shortcut! However, China Garden does have a couple of saving graces.First, the cost of a takeout dinner here isn't going to break the bank. With tip and tax, the honey chicken with white rice set me back $13.10. In 2023, that isn't bad at all!Second, The pork fried rice here is very good! All the flavors that go into it are nice and balanced, and I could see myself coming back for that if I were craving it.That said, if you go to China Garden, then you may have an experience greater than the conglomerate 3 star experience I had provided you STAY FAR AWAY from the deep fried items.

Hey guys, this is one of my new goto lunch stops. I am fond of their shrimp egg foo yung. Made to order, fresh ingredients and served with great steamed rice. 3 patties and gravy. It's so cool

Food is tasty. The war wonton soup is large and full of great ingredients. I ordered for a group: we had the chicken with broccoli, chicken with mixed veggies, kung pao beef, schezwan chicken, and kung pao shrimp. Everyone loved the food I was surprised, in a good way, when they rung up the cost. VERY reasonably priced. I appreciate that they are generous with portion sizes. I got my food to go, so didn't dine in. But the restaurant looked very clean and well taken care of. Will need to take pics of the food before we dig in next time!

Amazing food, great service, and friendly owner.Every time I come here, I am always so pleased. I LOVE the food here, and the owner is so nice. She even replaced a dish for me for no charge when I accidentally ordered the wrong item. She also gave me a cute calendar once and I have it hanging in my office. Crab Rangoon, chicken lo mein, sesame chicken; always delicious and always leftovers. Yum!!

Easy access from the intersection of Montgomery and Tramway Blvds. Plenty of good parking. Clean modern restrooms. Tables or booths both available. Seating for maybe 30 max. Service was courteous, friendly and prompt. So far I've tried a few menu items including soups, chicken wings, egg foo young and a rice and veggie dish. Food quality is top notch, portions are satisfyingly large, there's a very lengthy menu with enough variety to suit almost any taste. Kitchen does a terrific job and the food is almost too hot to eat as served. I live in Santa Fe and am happy to drive the 35+ miles for their food. The prices are quite reasonable too. There's other shopping nearby too. This is a hidden gem.
