It's a diner. That's the ambience. Diner. A fairly good one with good service and reasonable food at palatable prices. There's a lot of "New Mexico" food here but I've been able to find things to eat without chili anyway. I've been satisfied every time I've been here.Worth a visit. Oh... and don't be afraid to order water. Edgewood water is miserable to drink. I don't know what they do here but the water is perfectly acceptable to drink.

It was a great small town diner! I had the breakfast enchiladas, with red and green chili sauce, with 2 eggs on top and some hash browns. It fit the spot exactly what I was looking for! And it wasn't too expensive, although they did charge extra for using credit card. Some cops were having breakfast and that's always a good sign. Definitely a good stop if you're looking for home town New Mexican cooking!

Stopped by on our way to MT and was amazed on how delicious the food was! We had their breakfast French toast and Huevos rancheros. Full of flavor and great price! Easy to get to. Staff is very welcoming! A must visit!

I hate to do this for a local business, but the quality and service has gone down here. The last time I went, the food was not up to the standard that I have seen for years. Also, it had GI upset after for about a dayMy hubbys, was tasteless. The meat was tough, potatoes were tasteless and the brown gravy added nothing but a glop with obvious lumps that showed it was poorly mixed.Staff is friendly, but low quality food cancels even the best service.Folks, there's other sit down restaurants in the east mountains, I suggest giving a placeI loved... a pass

New management. Took the wife to dinner. The ribeye steak was so bad she thought it might be rotten meat. She didn't dare take a second bite. The baked potato was so cold it didn't even try to melt the butter. Normally, she loves okra. Couldn't eat it either. I had the 'all you can eat fish. Apparently, all you can eat is three small pieces. Taste good though. Except the tartar sauce. Yuck. It's a shame, but we won't be back. We'll drive the extra 25 miles to Albuquerque and get an edible meal.

Went there on 1/2/25 we ordered 2plates of chili relleno's 1green chili enchiladas oapitas on all rice on 2 ,beans on 1 the papitas were cold and dry. And the beans weren't cooked fully my boyfriend got sick to his stomach and my mom was very disappointed in her food will not be going back

We loved this place when it was run by a gentleman named Carl, back in the day. Since he left we unhappily report that the food has been mediocre at best, and the place is filthy, including the kitchen, which is visible from the front door. We have seen roaches more than once. Oh, and we have wound up with food poisoning several times. We have tried to give this restaurant "just one more chance" each time the owners have changed, because we support local businesses, but this is not the restaurant it used to be. A hard pass from us.
