I am from the Chicago area, so every once in awhile I'd like some deep dish pizza, which is very hard to find outside where I grew up. The few places I've tried with it have mostly been disappointing.This pizza was good. No, it's not exact, but I thought it was tasty and hit the spot for Chicago deep dish in New Mexico. I will get it again sometime.

Chicago Pizza in Albuquerque, NM, is hands down the best I've had! I've tried pizza all over the U.S., but this sauce? So good. It should win an award if it hasn't already. The crust is perfectly crispy and soft--like it can't decide what it wants to be. If you haven't been, go now! Your taste buds will thank you, and you might start dreaming about that sauce. Seriously, it's that good!

We drove up to Albuquerque just to try this pizza place on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We walk in around 11:30 and it wasn't too busy inside but they had a lot of door dash orders going out. We put our order in and waited about 15 minutes for our appetizers and about 20 minutes for our Chicago deep dish pizza. The chicken wings were good, I ordered them with mango habanero sauce and it wasn't hot but overall the chicken wings were good, a little pricey though. When our pizza came out it was the wrong pizza. I told the worker and he apologized and told me to wait a few minutes and he would make me the correct one. The correct pizza came out about 15 minutes later and it was great. It wasn't as thick as the pizza I've had at Giordanos in Chicago or Las Vegas but for around here (NM), it was great. Lots of cheese, tomato sauce topping and full of pepperoni and sausage. Me and my son ate the entire large pizza, 4 huge pieces each. I'm still so full writing this and it's been 5 hours since we left. I would definitely come back here and eat again. Price for this large Chicago deep dish was $22 and worth it imo. Service here was great. Friendly worker and very nice. Btw this guy was taking orders, making pizzas, handling the tables all by himself. Two thumbs up from me. Hope to be back someday...

I was kind of a prick to the guy working after having a very long workday. I ended up ordering the large Chicago style all meat pizza which I love and apologizing to the guy. He was still nice and pleasant. I appreciate the service and will be back for more pizza.

Updating my review to two stars because this is the second time I've called well before posted closing hours and they've been closed.The pizza is terrific, but if you're that good, you should be able to plan well enough to accommodate Friday night pizza orders without "running out of everything" by 7:29pm!Four times I've tried to order from these guys, and twice the same issue. Very unimpressed with their 50% success rate.

Best pizza I've had here in Albuquerque. I had the deluxe combo with sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms and olives. Great crust and the sauce is delicious. I also love the fact that it's owned and run by Veterans. Drop a couple of dollars in the box and support our Veterans.

I love thick crust Chicago style pizza, and I have not found a good one here in Albuquerque until now. The sauce was ample and tasty, and there was actual ample sausage and peperoni and chili on this very tasty pizza, I highly recommend it.

It's is kind of fast food parlor kind of service. Booths are comfortable enough. I'm from Jersey so I think of Chicago style as more of a casserole, but it is a good deep dish pizza. Albuquerque is kind of rough for East coasters looking for NY, but the Chicago Pizza Kitchen is a different experience, and I don't know how true to Chicago it is, but I enjoyed scarfing up what they were laying down.

I'm from Chicago and I think it's the closest thing to Chicago stuffed pizza. It's not like typical pan pizza. I like the sauce, tastes fresh without a lot of added spice. But I'd love the pizza if the crust was better. The base is kind of thick, too doughy and not enough cheese. I guess I'm picky about crust. But overall the sauce brings it up a level. I like it.
