I went to sign up for my library card today, and the librarian who helped me could not have been more friendly. She answered my questions and explained the library had expanded far beyond media; now you can check out park passes, museum passes, and event passes. The library has a YA section, children's section, computers with internet to use, DVDs, CDs, etc. It was a clean and inviting space. Can't wait to start using my card!

Clean, organized, welcoming. This library is located in a calm neighborhood. There's great displays, programming. The librarians are knowledgeable, helpful, creative, resourceful. I love attending the book groups when I can. I also like participating in their programming and finding little surprises as I browse the library. Another bonus: this is a Pokémon Go gym!

2.5 starsKind of felt like a hospital to me. The staff was really nice so that's a plus. The young adult section was only waist high and cramped which made it hard to look for books while trying to give others their personal space. The aisles were very cramped and there was a poor book selection. Looks like a nice large place for kids though. Computer place was very secluded, no people dodging around you. Very quiet and was very nice outside the library as well (rabbits live in the back!!) however I did not have a good experience here for some reason. Everything just seemed very odd to me.

Public libraries are like community living rooms. The activities are designed by and for community members - if there is something you'd like to see happen, tell a librarian! They very well may be able to arrange it for you. From genealogy classes, to "gizmo garages" (to help you with your e-readers and whatnot), to children's story hours, our library is our home away from home. It's very clean, with plenty of restrooms (by the main entrance, and then a children's restroom back in the children's area). There's an activity room in the front of the library you can reserve (see the website). The ABQ library system has a generous lending system. There are also museum passes that can be checked out! Also, believe it or not, one can check out baking pans (think Darth Vader cake pans and the like). Check out movies and music, too. And download books for free! And audio books!

It may seem odd to rate a library at all, much less with five stars, but I have to give this place props. It has much of what all Albuquerque libraries have. Free limited internet & Wi-Fi. Books, periodicals, movies, copiers and printers. Annoying users from time to time singing w/ headphones on. People ignoring others trying to study or read as they talk to others or themselves. So why five stars? I love this location for many reasons. Some of them are that the location is great, meeting rooms are just large enough, the kids section is great and they have events that fit the community and are nice to see happening. It doesn't hurt to have nice & helpful staff and very easy book drops and parking! It's also clean and well lit. This is just my favorite!

WiFi is really slow for a library. I liked the feel and environment but in this day and age I feel like it is crucial to have fast WiFi for libraries. Other than that, friendly people work there and it is comfortable.

Is it just me or has the library become a meat market?!! I've been into this location a couple times now and always leaving with a smile on my face because some sweet good looking eye candy goes and makes my day lol! All that aside this library is doing things right! It is consistently busy with lots of friendly patrons, and staff! They almost always have outreach programs being promoted and I often see young youth browsing the the good reads, which is nice since we obviously live in a world behind screens! I come here most often to use the computers. I like to type my documents, and print my paperwork because at only 15 cents a page that's not bad compared to dealing with a printer, and ink cartridges, and toner...blah blah blah! I enjoy the energy of the people around me doing their work as well keeps me motivated and on track! This library has a beautiful campus and some neat sculpted artwork in the mall lawn!

Great staff and a comfortable place to study, read, browse. This place has the feel of a genuine community resource...but mostly its librarian staff are welcoming, pleasant and professional.
