Chaco Grill

This probably a 4 star elsewhere but being in a gas station in Cuba it was definitely 5 star because it was above and beyond expectations and the service was great. The food had great flavor and good spice. The price was fantastic for the food as well.

Stopped by to get gas and saw there was a restaurant inside. Delicious burgers and fries made fresh. Wait time was quick and Adrian was super polite, professional and a hard worker juggling many hats with a smile. Thanks for the experience as we traveled through town.

Even if you don't blink, you might miss Chaco Grill, but it's worth a detour! Located in Cuba across the highway from El Bruno's Restaurant (inside the Phillips 66 gas station), this unassuming spot is extremely budget-friendly and absolutely delicious! Give it a try. I bet you'll stop again the next time you roll through town on your way to somewhere else!

Family run, tiny, but great food, affordable and perfect stop between here and Moab for a quick, yummy breakfast, or snack or meal! In Phillip 66 station. Won't look like anything except a gas station, go in to order. Called ahead and we picked up steaming hot! One of those little NM treasures!

Talk about a hole in the wall treasure!! We drove past it twice trying to find it but it was definitely worth it. The Navajo taco with green Chile was divine. Just the right amount of heat and it wasn't greasy or heavy. Definitely recommend checking this gem out.

Recent menu as of December 2024. Good food, expect to wait as always. Easy stop when passing through.

My husband and I live near and rely on Chaco Grill for its very tasty bean & chicharone and barbacoa burritos for lunch as a weekly treat. We also pick up breakfast burritos and rellenos often, and if we are very, very lucky the best tamales ever (not a regular menu feature.)We tend to order, go do our other errands in town and return in 15-20 minutes for pick-up, but calling ahead is a good idea.You can eat in, and they have had an outside area, but its really more of a pick-up and take-away situation - even if you just drive to a pull off with a pretty view and eat in the car, you'll never regret a burrito, or taco, or rellano from the Chaco Grill.

Just had to stop, even though I wasn't really hungry. Ordered plain fry bread. It was anything but plain. Light, flaky with just enough chew and came with salt and honey so you can enjoy it the way you prefer. Delicious! I will definitely stop at this gas station grill next time through Cuba. And I'll be sure to come hungry!

Nice little whole in the wall. A friend recommended this place on a trip to Albuquerque. Boy was I glad he did. The food is fantastic and full of flavor. I will definitely be making this place a for sure stop if I am ever in the area or traveling through. I would highly recommend stopping if you are in Cuba Skip Mcdonalds or any other place and give them a try. One man band behind the register and cooking. I have to give them props for doing a two person job by themselves.
