I walked into this place to get a price quote on a treatment. The receptionist said he couldn't do that but if I emailed the doctor she would let me know what the cost would be. I thought this was a little odd but OK, I went home and immediately emailed the doctor explaining my condition, the treatment I was interested in and the fact that I don't have health insurance. (For those in ABQ, I had UNM care for years but not any more thanks to Obamacare.) So after not hearing back for over 24 hours, I called them and left a message with my name and phone explaining I had sent an email with my request. It has now been a week and I still haven't heard from them!I have come to 2 conclusions; either the doctor isn't taking any new patients (which you would have thought the receptionist could have told me that if it is the case) or they don't want to take patients without health insurance.
