Cedar Crest Tire

Driving up N14 I look down and my tire gauge went from 38-15 in the matter of seconds--I pull into Cedar Crest Tires and wow! The customer service was top notch! Not only did they order me tires...the drive me home until it was ready. I needed the one that sadly I hit something but the other three were in bad shape! They got my new tires on--balanced and I was on my way...great prices, great warranty and superb customer service!! I will be going there for my automotive needs...they were wonderful and right here in our own backyards!

5 stars??? I wish I could give 10 stars!!! This place is quality through and through! The employees are knowledgeable and go above and beyond. I've had tires for cars, riding lawnmowers, oil changes, and a tow from here. I've also purchased water tubes from there. The gentleman in the front is wonderful. He is friendly and works hard to keep customers coming in. Every time I have called to find out if I could bring my car in, he has encouraged me to come right down. He's never put me off or said they were to busy. The one time that I was stranded on a parking lot with a very flat tire, he had a very nice young man race out right away. He was kind and my kids and I felt safe with him. He pulled the tire right off and transported us to the shop in the truck. Don't miss out on seeing "PJ" the cat. What a funny little fluff ball! Always hopping and pouncing on something until it's time to sleep on top of the printer, hence his name "paper jam".

Driving from Phoenix to Chicago and we ran into some trouble with one of the vehicles in our group. We went inside and Kevin was informative and very helpful. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Kevin!

Several decades ago this small business was great and repaired several of our vehicles. Within the past few years, our vehicles keep getting returned because of improper or poor repairs. In addition, the time to repair vehicles has taken longer than normal. Recently, we had a vehicle in the shop where it sat for seven weeks until it was repaired. During that time, the battery died and one of the tires was stolen from the car while on the premises. Interestingly, we were not informed about the stolen tire until a few days before we picked it up. Fortunately, the shop replaced the missing tire and rim. Upon our pick up of the car, after hours, we found that one of the studs was broken off and another bent/broken on the replaced missing wheel. Despite the tire being replaced, there was no notification about the damage to the two studs, ultimately leaving three lugnuts to drive on. Needless to say, this is a major safety issue. Sadly, this resulted in an additional repair that we opted to have done at another location. Although the shop honored the warranty of the original repair that it went in for seven weeks ago, it is heartbreaking to see this small business decline, over time, in the quality of service, repairs and communication, as experienced with two other vehicles of ours. Therefore it has been difficult to write this review but we feel that it is important to note that this is not an isolated event and that others should be aware of this experience. Some day we may return when the staffing and quality of work improves.

I wanted to support local business, so I took our little Honda civic there when I was told at jiffy lube that it needed a brake fluid flush. $100 something dollars paid. Fine. The next time I took it to get an oil change, I was told the fluid was just as bad as before, so it seems like they charged me but didn't actually do the work.In between that service, another vehicle needed an oil change. Took it down there and it was handled, or so I thought. Not even 1,500 miles into that I got a warning light saying to change my oil soon. Took it to jiffy lube again and asked them to tell me what the oil looked like coming out. Said it was very dark, so again, I suspect we paid for a service that wasn't completed.I'm so disappointed because I love to support businesses in the neighborhood but can't in this case because they aren't trustworthy.

Caution: had some rear springs replaced---I purchased and brought in for installation. Had called and was told to bring in at certain time in a certain day. Waited over 2 hours next door. Was able to see vehicle taken in and brought back out---- took 23 minutes. I was charged nearly $280!! Sad that a local, well respected business can justify such a charge.

I have had work done here in the past and it took forever, but they got the job done. Called them to have more work done and they were too busy. Was going to be a week and a half before they could get to it. Ok, fine....make the appointment, and they call me THE DAY BEFORE at 3pm in the afternoon to tell me one of their mechanics was going on vacation. You can't look at a calendar a little sooner bro? Seriously? But that's just the beginning.....the only appointment they had was for another week and a half away, and that would be only for the diagnosis.....to fix it would be ANOTHER week and a half. Why would you a) not let me know earlier b) take ALL DAY LONG to run a diagnostic? Are you kidding? I mean, maybe they fired one of their mechanics but i have never spent so long of a time trying to get a repair from a shop and then have them do this. LAME in the extreme. LOOK ELSEWHERE. I guess this place is just for rich folk on their way to Santa Fe or something.

Outstanding service! I bought 4 new tires and they drove me home while they did their work. Picked me up promptly once finished. Moderately price but worth it! Customer service is above everybody else. I highly recommend for all your auto service needs. Dave K. Sandia Park

Should not be entrusted with anything more complicated than a tire puncture.Might want to double check that work too.

Saved the day when I got a flat tire today on 14. They were kind and forthright. They sold me two affordable tires and got me back Kn the road within 45 minutes.
