Casa Taco

We finally got here! The service staff (counter ordering) was very friendly and helpful.I had the Jamaican jerk chicken tacos, my husband had a burrito- we also ordered chips and queso. Couple of fountain diet cokes. They also have bottled soft drinks. My tacos were excellent! Loved them. This dish comes with pinto beans and rice bottle excellent. The only thing I would prefer is just one taco shell (these are steamed) instead of two. Too much starch for me, I just dumped out the insides and ate with a fork. The chips and queso I loved too much They have a great salsa bar - wonderful sauces to add to you dish. I'm very exited that we tried and super happy it's so close to home!

The tacos were just okay, of course the shells fell apart. The rice was not so good, the beans were okay. The salsa bar was kind of messy.

Excellent tacos. Fresh ingredients. Speedy service. Great variety. All true of Academy location. Eager to try westside location near Montano and Coors.

Very disappointed because I like this place. This is the third time getting the loaded nachos,the first time they were amazing .....but after that these last two times I got them they were nothing close to the first time I got them. They had no sour cream no guacamole no nacho cheese, and no jalapeños. Very little beans and shredded beef which I payed extra for and no salsa. If they were consistent with the first time I got them I would have given this review 5 stars but I was very disappointed.

This is the best tacos I have ever had in Albuquerque. Super fresh ingredients and excellent service.Will be going there again!They know the way tacos are really made.

I had the brisket and green chile taco and the Al pastor with pineapple. The flavors are so delicious in the tacos as well as the pinto beans and red chile rice.
