The Casa Flamenca is really a casa and it felt very homey and we were right up there by the performers. Went there with some friends for a Friday night show. Really wonderful performance from both a talent point of view and also really bringing it from the heart. I highly recommend it if you either enjoy flamenco or want to try it out.

Powerful performances in a cozy venue. One of the best things to do in town! Well known artists share their artistry in this local spot.

This was just a fantastic experience. The performance was schedule to take place at their patio but Albuquerque was hit by a much needed rain which delayed the Flamenco. The staff was very accommodating in offering us many different options like watch the performance indoors or return the next day. We were lucky to watch such great performers that night and even though it was a bit packed indoors it was a pleasure to see them give their best. A must visit when in Albuquerque.

4.5 stars I took the beginning-intermediate class last Saturday with Valeria (normally the beginning class is Monday nights, but I can't always make that with my weird work schedule). I had always wanted to take a flamenco class, but never got the chance to. The location was easy to find and I must've driven by it a hundred times before and never noticed. They had a "tablao" on the previous night. I was thinking that class would be outside, since the website had said outdoor classes would be resuming soon. It was inside a cute little house with a kitchen, dance studio, and gift shop. Guess I had gone in the wrong door, but Valeria helped point me towards the class. She mostly spoke in Spanish during the class, but it was easy to understand. I think my previous dance experience helped, but some parts of the class were still a challenge. Valeria is tough, but you can tell she wants to help you improve and feedback is done in a way to make you better. All of the other ladies in the class were friendly and welcoming. It was a little steep at $31.50 for a drop in class, but it was worth it. I hope I'll be able to join again. My hope was that there would be live music during the class, but guess that's more for the rhythm class instead. 2021 #40

My husband and I went to a Sunday show and were completely blown away by these amazing performers! The guest singer from Spain was top notch. The emotion of the "tablao" gave me goosebumps. I definitely recommend this spot. There are a couple of things worth noting: 1) this is a very small, intimate space; the performers are never more than 10 ft from your chair 2) bring your water bottle; it's a dance studio space with no refreshment services 3) the show is an hour long but you will be so engaged the time will fly by 4) audience participation is appreciated. Ole! 5) there is a small shop selling flamenco gear. 6) it was $25 per person.

We attended Casa Flamenca few moths ago. I took my wife there after dinner as a surprise. She loved it! We have attended other tablaos - several in the Southwest and once in Seville, Spain. Casa Flamenca in ABQ. Was among the BEST! Close to Old Town, intimate setting, tremendous music and the dance was FANTASTIC. We will make it a stop on our family reunion activities in August.

The setting is very small, but the dancing is very large! It was wonderful to watch in such an up close environment. You can feel the dancing. Highly recommend! And amazing flamenco guitarist and singer! But recommend wearing a mask as you are in close quarters and I and another guest tested positive for COVID a couple of days later and are now in quarantine:-(

Amazing experience! Reminded me that intimate moments of traditional dances provide a more powerful and passionate experience than big stage productions. master artists from Spain.... just wow!
