SO Grateful for this store! Casa Blanca and Bombay Spice are my 2 go to international stores to visit! If I can't find something at Bombay it's typically always at Casa Blanca. I have yet to visit Talin, but I was told I must visit there next.

Super friendly environment. Lots of different options for coffee and tea. There was a restaurant there but sadly I missed out on too late, it was closed i imagine due to covid. I found real turkish delights, authentic spices and khol eyeliner which is hard to find without going to Amazon.

Note: Casa Blanca Market is located in strip mall on NW corner of Montgomery and San Pedro (next door to the west of Red Lobster). Yelp map seems to show it on San Antonio Blvd, which is incorrect.Casa Blanca Market is a Middle Eastern grocery store with widely diverse selection of all sorts of canned, bottled, bagged, and fresh/frozen ingredients, including some rather unusual animal protein parts. Mind boggling in expanse of variation & selection. You can find ingredients shelved among the somewhat jumbled aisles that you may well have no idea from an American perspective of what they are, what dish(es) they are used in, or what they taste like. To use the ubiquitous current phrase, "Google it!" to find out. A meander around Casa Blanca Market is like a mini-tour of the Middle Eastern culinary landscape. Take that trip to expand your gustatorial horizons a few quantum leaps. I found staff to be friendly & approachable, which is not always the case in Middle Eastern grocery stores. Permission to take photos to accompany this review was given with cordial affability.

What a lovely Middle Eastern Market! I went for Batsmati Rice, (10 lbs for $14.98.) Needed olive oil, got a big bottle for $7.99. There are so many items at good prices! I've never used avacado oil; they have it, at about $8. Going back soon to try very fresh lavash. My partner is Lebanese. Saw pickled turnips that he loves. Tahini is reasonably priced; will get some soon to make babagoush. I thought that they might be an off-shoot of Alqud's, the restaurant just down the row; they're not. The man who owns the market tells me that soon, they will have fresh lamb and goat meat.Check this place out! Support a small business! It's next to Red Lobster at San Pedro and Montgomery. Pretty awesome!

Great little world market, you can get a little of quite a lot of things here. Ive been supplementing/stretching times between my curbside visits to grocery stores by hitting up small markets. (you know the drill, small local businesses need help more than big national bigboxes. and due to the relatively low use there are no lines, less danger yada yada.. ) Stopped by Casa Blanca Market, (ive been before several times), Was really amazed at how multi country they have become, i saw salvadoran tamales, and peruvian peppers, and I bought some frozen cashew apple fruit (finally got to try it!!!). They have Russian foods, Middle Eastern foods, frozen foods, fruits, spices, flour, beans, yeast, cheeses, soups, drinks, teas, candy and much much more.

We gave it a try, after reading mostly favorable Reviews on here. First thing we noticed was the rather crammed, narrow Spaces, barely wide enough to accommodate a small shopping cart. Secondly, after theOwner had left, one of the two Employees decided to run about the Store with his Mask dangling from his ear, after my repeated comments about it. Decided on four items we wanted to try from that Store, which we found overpriced. We won't be back.

Amazing prices and I found some maza for Arepas! Only other place I know has it is Talin and it's a dollar and some extra! Spices are also very affordable and the Owner is extremely nice and helpful. They have many great brands and it's a wonderful location. Definitely coming back soon!

This is a great store especially in these crazy pandemic times. There are fresh eggs, delicious fresh bread, chicken and lamb, many interesting dairy choices (yoghurt, cheese, butter), rice, legumes, even yeast and toilet paper. I'm grateful to have this nearby and be able to shop local and safely.
