Casa Alpaca

We had a wonderful visit to Rene's alpaca ranch. She took us in to meet the new babies that were just born this month. Then we went into her weaving studio and she showed us how she takes the raw alpaca fiber and makes gorgeous dyed yarns. She both knits and weaves colorful creations. I bought a yummy soft shawl. It's a great place to visit and learn about alpacas and weaving. I believe she also has classes in weaving. Rene is a delight!
