.I woke up grumpy that sunny first Saturday in April. I remember it well.(it was 4 days ago)My wife suggested we try this coffee shop. Begrudgingly I went along; not quietly but more "respectfully pissy" i would say.Navigating our large van in the parking lot we still couldn't find the business. I started bitching about the crummy location, poor signage and how I just wanted a cup of quality coffee. That life shouldn't be this hard on a Saturday morning. Where is this coffee roasters shop? Finally:We located and walked into Candlestick......and POOOF !!!We meet (and want to marry) Zach! The enthusiasm, passion, knowledge, mission and love this guy has for his craft is amazing. We are so impressed. We decided Zach's wife is soo lucky!Mia M. did a review calling this an "intimate coffee experience" and I agree. When we relocate to Corrales, we will become frequent customers of this business. "Like really good like customers as they say in the valley."Thank you Zach for an exceptional coffee "pour over" experience ... we loved our individual cups of coffee. We support your fair trade mission, and wish you very well in your business. After our Candlestick Visit:My mood improved from a 3/10 scale, to a 10/10 after my visit to Candlestick Roasters ... YMMV of course, but please give it a try :)

If you are a coffee head this place is for you. If you're looking for a fast cup, and espresso this place isn't for you I'm not saying it's slow, but it's an intimate coffee experience. It is the place to go if you truly love coffee. First, it's in the back part of the parking lot so don't fret if you don't see it when you first pull in. Each cup is ground and poured over by hand giving you the perfect flavor coffee. Not too many grounds, not burnt, all flavor and delicious coffee. Speaking of flavor, there are many. The coffee is sourced from all over and roasted on site. It is run by one lovely man. Closed on Tuesdays but open 8-3 every other day!!

Love this place. They know how to roast and brew coffee, and the vibe at their shop is super chill. Skip Starbucks and try these guys. Also, they partner with Milagro Vineyards and Silverleaf Farms, so you can get fresh veggies and good wine.

Wow!!! My little brother sent my wife and I the best Christmas gift ever, and Zach from Candlestick Coffee Roasters pulled it off with flawless execution, a great product, and excellent customer service. We received a pound of small-batch, whole-bean coffee for about six-weeks via USPS; it was a different blend every week (Costa Rica, Papua New Guinea , Columbia, Peru, Mexico, and Sandia Summit). Zach included a very personalized hand-written note with the first and last shipments, that really set the tone. My only suggestion is to spread the shipments out to once a month; my wife and I drink a lot of coffee, but not that fast. Ha Ha Thanks again. Keep up the great work and wishing Candlestick Coffee Roasters much success.

Now, I'm no coffee expert, at all, but I do know one thing: I love it. With Guatemalan roots, I crave the smooth, caramel, nutty medium roast whose smell reminds me of walking around a mercado or finca. I have been so unlucky with the timing to try Candlestick, so today was my day! Tucked behind a little corner group of stores, next to the Corrales Fire Department, this little place boasts incredible coffee. Zach, the owner, was so upbeat and kind when I walked in. The smell when you enter his shop is just heavenly. Bags of coffee beans line the walls and Zach explained he would be roasting all day today. Having never been here before, he asked what I liked, explained what he did, and made one of the best cups of Guatemala coffee I've had outside of Guatemala. Truly, just perfect. We have so many wonderful small businesses in Corrales and Candlestick Coffee Roasters is just another excellent example. Thank you for starting off my weekend just right, Zach! If you are new to coffee, a coffee snob, coffee aficionado, coffee addict, or whatever title you want to claim, please go to this great place and try their coffee!

Amazing coffee with a variety of options from around the world. Zach is awesome and is able to answer any questions about the different coffee beans. It is our number one choice in the ABQ area.

I'm here from Portland. This place is legit. Beautifully smooth, dark-medium Guatemalan bean. I also got some Brazilian cold brew that had a light sweetness to it. Five stars. You could put cream in it I guess, but why? It's so good to drink it black.

I purchased my first bag of Candlestick Coffee Roasters coffee at the Eat Silver Leaf Farms pickup event at Milagro Winery in Corrales yesterday. Mind you, I drive by Candlestick every day, but I had yet to stop and try this luscious coffee!! I am so impressed with the coffee from Mexico I purchased. Thank you Candlestick for participating in this local event. I STRONGLY recommend your coffee, and I don't consider myself a coffee aficionado!
