We have changed management again recently and this company is doing it right. Our parking currently sucks but we are getting an upgrade, as well as the staff in the office is finally friendly. Donna Drake and Jonah were so helpful when I needed to add my boyfriend and dog onto my lease. We are all so happy living here, we love our dog and neighbor friends in our little community!

Keep in mind parking and more young people are moving in which means parties... apartments aren't made for large get togethers. Parking is a major issue here due limited parking spots and people having tons of visitors. The issues are really the neighbors do not care about how they park but when it comes time they complain about why they were booted or ticketed. When it's really about common sense and learning how to park inbetween the lines. The complex does echo immensely with everyday sounds such as people normally talking out on their belcony. The place is getting an outside change but I'm assuming that the inside apartments aren't going to be updated nor attention to detail in the remodel. It's great location to live. There are ants living within the buildings. (depends on the building you live in), No recycle bin. Also keep in mind that the people here leave their trash and junk out side of the trash compactor daily. Side note- When it comes to winter, they do not de-ice the complex or they are not prepared for icy weather. My review might be more about the residents being a bit of a pain than the staff or location.

Great place. Parking is the only issue, needs more spaces and wider spots. People should also be booted when they park bad, taking up 2 spaces. Overall, great place, maintenance is nice, amenities are alright, and the apartment itself is great.

Due to the recent coronavirus pandemic, I understand being safe and being smart. Unfortunately when I went into the office on the day of March 14, 2020 there was one woman working in the office. The office put up a sign that no more than two individuals are allowed in the office, it's unfortunate but she is treating residence/ new Residents are all like we are infected. If you were truly that scared of the coronavirus please stay home. Treating people like they are all infected is terrible. And on top of that she was very rude and told me and my two children that we were only allowed in the front doors little space.

The place was taken over by a different company recently, and they are horrible. They don't get back to you in a timely manner. Sometimes days at a time. When you call they never answer. Don't bother to leave a voicemail. The maintenance and groundskeeper are horrible and lazy. You can tell by how the sprinklers are maintained and the half done jobs all around the complex. Trash cans are overflowing with dog poop bags. The trash compactor is the worst, no one maintains it, or closes the doors. The lights outside are always on!!! At 8am, 12pm, 2pm. All the time!!! That to me seems like a big waste of money and not how a proper business run.

Don't waste your time or money. They'll steal both PLUS your mind. I lived here for 4 years. Initially, Greystar owned the property and they were a wonderful management company with Greystar. Recently, Maxus Properties took over and the property went down the toilet. They don't keep up with the landscaping. They don't maintain the ONE trash compactor we have on property so it consistently smells and looks horrible. But the icing on the cake just happens to be the people they hire for any kind of work. The landscapers that do come like to blow everything into residents' patios and doors. My fun started on September 1, 2016 when I went outside to find my car covered in cement. See, Camino Real was working on repaving the roads when they halted that project and decided to fix the roofs on buildings around me (but not mine). They also threw in a blurb of "there will be some cement work starting as well" in there for effect. No details on where or when or if we needed to move anything. So color me shocked when I walked outside on September 1 and found cement all over my car from the sidewalk steps they had laid cement on 1-2 days earlier. It is now the evening of September 12, and both Camino Real AND Star Paving, who did the work, are stonewalling me. Ambrose, the foreman at Star Paving, tried WD-40 on my car to see if the cement came off. It didn't. The next day, he was inspecting and touching my vehicle WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PRESENCE, and decided he was going to call and tell me he was going to try cement dissolver. I said no, and he shut down, refusing to continue speaking with me. Since that conversation, I have not heard from Star Paving or the management at Camino Real, despite repeated attempted to contact them by phone and email. This place lacks integrity. They lack anything resembling honest business ethics. Don't bother!

Camino Real Apartments has been the worst experience in apartment living we have ever had. We moved in in September 2012 and the condition of the apartment at move in was atrocious. The entire complex is falling apart. In 6 months we had 13 repair orders, sewer over flow from the kitchen sink, constant smell, excessive noise, and $300.00+ eclectic bills to keep a 1000 sqft. apartment at 60 degrees. We moved out early before our lease expired because of the conditions, gave a 60 day notice, did a move out inspection 30 days before our move out date, and now Camino Real is trying to change dates and move out times to charge excessive fees. We have a BBB case open and a pending Rental Protection Agency case. I would not recommend Camion Real to my worst enemy.
