"A nice coffee and sandwich shop with a neighborhood vibe.I had their carrot/ginger soup which was excellent. It came with a couple pieces of sourdough bread on the side - the bread was "so so" - felt and tasted more like a whole grain than sourdough. In general, a good place to hang for a little - maybe just a little pricey for the portion sizes."
"Favorite place to get sushi in town. Best quality and flavor. If its a weekend night I would say be prepared for a wait because it gets quite packed. I usually do lunch when its a little bit slower. I always get the chefs choice sashimi that comes with miso soup, either a spicy tuna roll or California. Also comes with either 8-10 pieces of nigiri, large portions of fish at that. I would say I go here once every other week and will continue to do so. Love this place!"

"If you're looking for a brunch spot that offers the perfect blend of atmosphere, service, and incredible food, look no further....Slate Street is absolutely incredible! We grabbed brunch here last Saturday around noon and could not get over the immense flavor packed into every bite. Don't miss the banana bread as a starter...it's slightly grilled and paired with whipped butter, simply divine!"
"Really enjoyed this wine bar. It was my first stop in town after driving up from Albuquerque and checking in to my hotel. I deliberated over some places I had bookmarked but wasn't hungry enough for a full dinner. I ordered a delicious balsamic kale salad with beets, goat cheese and Pepitas plus a charcuterie board with locally-baked bread, salmon mousse, duck rillette, salami and Gouda cheese, all carefully sourced (curated?) from providers around the U.S. and the world. I like Spanish wines so tried an Albariño and a Tempranillo. The salad with the balsamic dressing was the perfect thing to compliment all the filling bread and rich charcuterie choices.Ralph (see photo) is a native Taosian with family on both side that have been here for hundreds of years. He was not only knowledgeable about his food and wine but had many recommendations for other places in town and stories about the history of wine varietals. A very fun experience and a recommended first stop in town to get the lay of Taos!By the way, Parcht has the same ownership as The Gorge located on the second floor above Parcht. I could hear the roar of a busy restaurant as I walked by the stairs. Walking into Parcht was relatively quiet, with people sitting at tables. I sat at the bar where I got to soak up the good conversation and 411 about what to do in town."
"Great experience--made a last minute reservation on open table and walked over from the historic plaza. Surprisingly good cocktail and wine list. They even have a wine club. Good service with a table seated by the window. For tapas, I recommend the pan com tomate, the patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo and the grilled eggplant. Highly recommend making a reservation while you're in Sante Fe"
"Our first night in Santa Fe (A Monday )and I searched for dog friendly restaurants with patios and lucked out with TerraCotta Wine Bistro! I called at 5:00 and they had space for 2 on the patio and booked a time for 7:15. It exceeded my expectations. Charming and Sublime with a neighborhood feel are words that come to mind. It was a true dining experience! My pork snitzel was great and my husbands pasta dish was also. Prices were fair for such a great experience. Weather was 78 and breezy, the rose garden attracted humming birds, soft Nora Jones type music and, our waitress was so professional and friendly. The hostess even brought our dog a water bowl. So happy they were open on a Monday and our first meal in Santa Fe was so delicious. I could envision this being our regular place if we lived here."
"Juneteenth. Monday, June 19, 2023. Visited here with my wife for lunch. We were taking a break from the nearby hotsprings. The hostess seated us within ten minutes. She sat people, brought them menus, and even refilled water. I told her she needed a raise. We watched as customers seated after us received their orders before us. It took twenty minutes for our order to come. I ordered a cup ($6) of the Tortilla soup. This came with multi-colored tortilla strips and a thick, flavorful broth. Quite hearty. See attached photo. My main dish was the grilled baby gem salad ($14). This featured baby romaine hearts, fried kale, shaved manchego cheese, and lemon-oregano vinaigrette. I paired this with sesame crusted ahi tuna ($8). The tuna had been cooked to perfection and the light texture melted in my mouth. The cheese cubes perfectly complemented the fried kale. A nice light dish after the heavy tortilla soup. This restaurant serves good food, but I wish the service had been faster. Giving three stars because of the lackluster service."
"So I had to come back and I brought my girlfriend with me. I had the steak and frites, cooked medium. It was perfect. The herb butter is a nice touch. The frites were nice and crispy. My girlfriend got the lobster and it was delicious. My girlfriend said it was perfect as well. We had the avgolemono soup has an appetizer and it's the best soup I've had in the city. The lemon was perfect with the chicken. It was nice and quiet, we sat downstairs. Shouts to Hannah for being a wonderful server!"
"My family of four visited this delightful restaurant for late lunch in a May of 2023. We loved the interior, very rustic with some modern touches, plenty of space for larger parties if needed and we found service to be quite good too.We started with delicious snow crab amuse bouche, then moved on to wonderful Grilled Spanish Octopus and Tuna Poke. For main dish we had Roasted Half Chicken with Shiitake Mushrooms and heirloom potatoes, simple and fabulous."
"Pizza was good. I recommend anything with green chile. We had the Taosano with both meats and the crust was really good (not soggy). Pizaños is sadly not dog friendly. Pro tip for the owners: There is an alcove out front that would be perfect for tables so folks can dine with their dogs. We weren't the only dog parents who took our pizza to go."
"I arrived an hour before my reservation and enjoyed the service, bread, raspberry jam and creamy butter before dinner.Jay and Francessa were most hospitable and i moved promptly to my table.Since daylight savings time had occurred there was not much to see and my table lacked much of a sightline anyway in early evening in NovemberWe enjoyed an exquisite pear salad with goat cheese and then the Fish special. Dessert was a cinnamon roll with a tiny dollop of vanilla bean ice cream. We spent a good two hours at table and never felt rushed or overly intruded upon There was a noticeable pride and courteous joyfulness exhibited by the staff It seems the restaurant seating area is a bit more diminished than i remember it being. But one did not have to battle with other noise throughout the evening which i find to be rare among the local restaurants We wish the staff a wonder -filled holiday season"
"Three of us had lunch there a couple of days ago. Definitely a unique place...in a good way. It took a while to place our orders because they give you a dry erase pen and a large laminated menu with lots of choices to build your own hot dog. Or you can simply order one of their ''Clowndog Creations,'' like a Chicago Dog or Frito Dog, which two of us ordered. The Chicago Dog was good but next time I'll have them hold the sweet relish. The ''neon green'' color was very intense which looked dyed and unappetizing so I scraped most of it off. Was that color part of the clown theme? Actually, I wish dill relish (of a normal color) had been an option since I'm not a big fan of sweet relish to begin with. The corn dog was mostly good. It was a generous size and I liked the taste of the deep-fried batter on the outside as well as the beef hot dog inside. It didn't seem, however, that the batter was quite cooked all the way through, like maybe the batter was too thick? A couple of warnings about the wooden stick inside the corn dog. It does go all the way to the end and one person in my party bit it hard and really hurt his lower front tooth. It still hurts. Granted, we all know there are sticks inside corn dogs, but aren't they usually shorter than the length of the dogs? I was glad for his warning. I did have another concern with the stick. It comes to a really sharp point. Is there a right way to eat corn dogs? After I take the first bite, I usually carefully take another couple of smaller bites before retracting the stick into the dog. In this case, there was no way I was going to risk putting that sharp point back in my mouth and attempt to eat around it. Trying not to get injured while eating lunch just isn't something that usually ever crosses my mind. So, it looks like they have about 55 toppings. I read some reviews that really didn't like the idea of some of the odd topping options, but I think it's a fun idea even though I'll personally never put chocolate syrup, pickled cactus, froot loops, or pineapple chunks on a hot dog. I might go for the chopped peanuts or popcorn, though! Most of the toppings are an extra 60 cents each, but they also have eight free toppings that include the regulars like mustard, ketchup, and onions. As far as the dogs go, they have all-beef, turkey, veggie, and bratwurst. Buns include traditional, poppyseed, garlic, and gluten-free ($2 up charge). The ambience was pleasant, the staff attentive, and I always appreciate a free parking lot. So, I will be going back and taking friends, but with warnings. Even my newly-snaggletoothed friend says he'll return. Figuring out how many stars to give was difficult but I rounded up deciding I could work around the issues I had in future visits."

This restaurant is a great spot for some tasty Japanese cuisine! We got there and were warmly greeted and got the pick of the tables in the house. The atmosphere is warming and inviting with a bank of tbs showcasing the sushi and another by the sushi bar showing anime. The waitstaff was right on top of our order, and service was fast and friendly. Couldn't ask for better!I had been craving Japanese curry and was not disappointed! I was greeted with a HUGE plate of pork cutlet, rices and tasty curry, with a side salad. It was awesome!Hubby had the salmon bento box with had perfectly cooked salmon, a California roll with a nice tempura selection. Needless to say, yummy!I'm glad got there a little early, around 5:00, because it's a popular spot. But, we would wait for a tasty meal, a comfy table, and flawless service. If your looking for a taste of Japan, you can't go wrong here!

What, a carnivore eating a zucchini-black bean burger!? Wife and I rarely needed much of a lunch after the AYCE breakfast buffets at the Hilton downtown Albuquerque. Came here after getting up at 4am for the Balloon Fiesta. Located in a residential area, just beyond blocks of law offices in downtown Albuquerque. Would not have found it unless looking for it.Large cathedral ceilings, two level restaurant, which included a loft. Bright, with large windows, airy and clean. My $15 veggie burger patty was made of zucchini and black beans. Flavor came with spread of cheddar, delicious corn relish, avocado, and green chile mayo. Had to eat it with a fork and knife, as the patty fell apart in my hands, a common drawback of veggie burgers. Tasty enough to satisfy a carnivore. French fries on the side, which would have tasted better unsalted, but firm and on the thin side, and flavorful. Wife had the $8 green chile stew with chicken and tortilla chip strips. Meal tasted just the way she fondly remembered after living 18 years in Santa Fe.Not often I write about burgers, let alone veggie burgers, probably the first this decade.

Another FUN Friday evening eating delicious Spanish Tapas (kale salad, spicy mushroom soup, mushroom bruschetta & basil/piñon ice cream) & listening to Jesus Bas play Spanish guitar. We have been coming to hear him play here for years. Always good food & good times. The atmosphere is cozy, staff are helpful & friendly! We love to sit at the bar (you need to check in... not first-come anymore). We especially enjoy chatting with "our" bartender, Gino.Reservations a MUST. It can be a long wait for a table, but you can enjoy the music & a drink while you wait-- but worth it, if you have the time.

We were visiting Santa Fe for Labor Day weekend. When we first arrived, we were a bit disappointed to hear the new owners had not yet secured their liquor license so the "Wine Bistro" portion of the restaurant name wasn't being offered at the time. That disappointment was short-lived, however, when the octopus we ordered as an appetizer. I've sampled many different octopus dishes and have never been more impressed with the combination of savory ingredients. The meat of the octopus melted in our mouths. I ordered the duck breast and my wife ordered the scallops. Every dish included its own delectable mixture of flavors that just worked. Can't emphasize how much people need to flock to this restaurant to try their menu. I will definitely be back!

"Delicious food, great service. Bar is small and chill. Loved the flourless chocolate torte as well. Ordered downstairs at the bar & picked up at the bar. I am Celiac / gluten-free, and they were able to answer all of my questions about my diet and help me feel more comfortable eating here with my autoimmune disease. 10/10 recommend!"
"Overall: M'tucci isn't traditional Italian but it is quite good if you want something that feels like a comfort meal.Food: 4Braised Pork Cacio e Pepe Pizza: The pizza was excellent. The crust was thin but wasn't overly crispy. It had the right amount of bite and an excellent char. The pork was melt in your mouth tender.Pasta Tartufo: This was a decadent pasta similar to a carbonara. I didn't like the sauce that much because it felt a little grainy.Service: 5The wait staff is always excellent. They are patient/careful with requests and dietary restrictions. They pay attention to your table without hovering or interrupting too much.Ambiance: 5The restaurant is a great place to eat with friends or for a date night. The only con is that it's super hard to find parking in Nob Hill."
"We popped into Frenchish on a Wednesday night, they weren't super busy but it was clear that it's a popular spot, even on a random weeknight. And it didn't take long for us to see why. We loved everything we ordered but the seasonal salad with bitter greens (that husband didn't want to order but then was his favorite dish) has quite honestly been a topic of conversation multiple times since our meal. The after dinner coffee was incredible, the wine pairing suggested was fantastic, all of the food was seasoned and cooked perfectly - and the sticky toffee pudding that we had for dessert was a wonderful ending. The open kitchen with the separate staging areas really elevates the atmosphere and gives it a clean Michelin feel. We can't wait for the menu to rotate so we can go back and try something new."
"This place is incredible! The wine store next door recommended it and we couldn't be happier with the choice to dine here! The staff was nice! Miguel did a great job! The yellowtail tower was the best I've ever had!"
"This was our anniversary dinner for our trip. We planned it a few weeks in advance. I was worried it wouldn't live up to the hype, but I was wrong. Jonathan, our waiter, and the staff was on their A game and I doubt they are ever off of it. Beyond the service the food was incredible. Every course complimented the next and stood on its own. If you are in Santa Fe and are a food and dining experience lover you have to come here. Thank you Arroyo Vino staff. Shout out to Jonathan (spelling?). A magical evening."
"If you're looking for a lunch experience that's as delightful as a sunbeam on a cozy patio, then Farina Alto is your golden ticket! Picture this: I plopped myself down in their intimate patio area, which feels like a secret garden where the plants gossip about the food. The shade is so perfect, I half-expected a celebrity to pop out from behind a potted plant, sunglasses on, sipping a fancy drink. Now, onto the appetizers! I ordered the fried artichoke hearts, and let me tell you, they were like little golden nuggets of joy. Dipped in beer batter and served with basil pesto lemon crème fraîche, they could probably win an Oscar for Best Supporting Snack in a Culinary Drama. Seriously, if these artichokes ever decide to open a restaurant, I'm there! For my main course, I paired a crisp Sauvignon Blanc with Prince Edward Island mussels that were practically doing the cha-cha in their spicy white wine butter sauce. With Calabrese peppers, San Marzano tomatoes, and caper berries, it was a flavor explosion! Just a heads up -- if you're not ready for a spicy adventure, you might want to keep a glass of milk nearby. Spicy? More like spicy with a side of fiery dance party! And let's not forget the service! The staff at Farina Alto are like your best friends who always bring extra fries. They're attentive, friendly, and have a knack for making you feel like royalty, or at least like you just won the lottery for the best lunch ever. So, if you're in the mood for a meal that makes you laugh, cry (from joy), and maybe even dance a little, Farina Alto is the place to be! Bon appétit!"
"Unexpectedly delicious- La Cantina does not have a Mexican bone on the menu!! It does have Greek- Africa- Morocco- Italy on the menu. I had the best lamb gyro I think I have ever had and I have been to Greece. Service was friendly and inviting- This is also my first Margarita passport stamp- The Nooner was perfect for lunchtime cocktails- I would have liked a little more Elderberry liquor- but it was good."
"Great wine tasting room in downtown Santa Fe. Everything closes early on Sunday and this was open until 9pm. Great wine and small bites to select from. This place has great ambiance and is also reasonably priced."
"What a find! This restaurant has the best cuisine we've had in a long time. Fresh and well prepared. Indoor and outdoor seating with friendly staff and our waitress checked on us often. We started with appetizers of Chorizo Rellenos, Flautas, and Elotes. There's ample enough portions to not only make these your meal, but shared with another. The Chorizo Rellenos had a perfectly fried crunchy egg roll wrap around a poblano filled with chorizo and gooey melted cheddar with a creamy green chile sauce. A wonderful balance of savory and heat. Our absolute favorite! The Flautas were just as good though, stuffed with pulled chicken also super crispy and topped with sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, and sriracha. Our order of Elotes was a whole ear of fresh, crisp corn topped with mayo, cojita cheese and cilantro and lime chile. Perfect! We finished our meal with their Spinach and Herbed Goat Cheese salad tossed in a wonderful balsamic vinaigrette and topped with fried prosciutto, mandarin oranges, roasted red bell peppers, red onions and pistachios. Everything was so darned delicious! What a perfect, delightful meal full of amazing and fresh flavors! I wish we lived in this town as we'd be here often!"
"We have sat at a table and at the bar and no matter where we have seated we get the best service!!The food is absolutely delicious!"
"The people who work here are so amazing. Not only is this within my community but it feels like a scene out of Cheers. Support local."
"Excellent food. Wonderful staff. Fine beverages. Great environment with fantastic remodeling. Lots of space and reasonably quiet ( good place for having a conversation). This, just like Tula's on Paseo is a WINNER & KEEPER!!!!"
"Walking down the bustling, loud and crowded streets of Santa Fe, pushing through almost hidden heavy wooden doors, we found ourselves in this amazing wine and small plate bistro. Serene and beautiful, worlds away from the bustling Santa Fe square. 5 stars!"
"What a gem in downtown Santa Fe! This place gets an A+ in ambiance-so cute and cozy on the inside, with a beautiful bar and wine shop. A great venue to showcase their local wines, which is all they serve. The service was impeccable, and the food was also very good. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, and it was one of the best I've had. Definitely a place to check out while you're in Santa Fe!"
"This beautiful, softly lit restaurant is so inviting and quiet, meaning you can carry on a conversation without hollering at each other across the table. The crab cake appetizer is the perfect marriage of flavors and textures. The French fried chicken is tender, flavorful, and juicy without being greasy. Dessert consisted of a classic champagne cocktail and a yummy molten chocolate cake with caramelized bananas. It's probably one of the best places in town!"
"This is the PERFECT place to have come free and a snack in Santa Fe! On a quiet street off the plaza, it reminds me of coffee spots in Paris. Great coffee, nice treats( as well as meals if that's what you prefer), quiet music in the background, great staff. It's a neighborhood coffee spot as well as a spot to relax while visiting Santa Fe"
"This place was legit!! I love Spain and it just so happens to be that San Sebastián had the best tapas in my opinion and this place reminded me of there! (The French chef actually trained in San Sebastián) I feel for tapas it is way overpriced, but that seems to be a common problem with all the eateries inside Sawmill. With that said, I suppose it's cheaper than flying to Spain haha! The flavors were very Spanish - I loved the egg salad especially. The Paella is EXCELLENT and the wine really tastes like Spanish wine (which I feel like Spain keeps their best wine to themselves, so it was very nice to feel like I was transported back to Spain with my Rioja Reserva!) The anchovies were just a touch fishy, but the pulpo (octopus) was to die for!! I Definitely want to go back and have more paella and try one of their empanadillas. Little Madrid is a great addition to Sawmill!"
"First time this season visiting ASEQ. I love this place. That staff are awesome. Let's talk food and drinks. The house cocktails are amazing. Every food dish was perfect. I had the 6oz steak. O"
"We had another great experience here ! We stopped in early before a show at the Popejoy. We had a round of apps and martinis with another good cocktail for our daughter. Then tuna, steak, and a Caesar w salmon. Half order truffle fries. Coffee and chocolate truffles to finish. $230 , a great value for the quality of food and overall e periwnce Highly recommend our server Nick, he was cheerful and professional, anticipating.our needs and sharing our enthusiasm for being there. This is,hands down, pur fave Abq restaurant, keep up the great work!"
"this is a quiet, relaxing little restaurant with a very bluesy feel. The staff is pleasant and friendly, and the food is rather tasty."
"I dined at Estevan for dinner on 12/29/21 while visiting Santa Fe, and must say it was probably the best dining experience of the trip! The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, the service completely exceeded our expectations, and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend making a reservation at Estevan if you are planning a trip to the area - or if you already live here! Our server was Sean, and he took the time to learn our names and used them throughout the evening. When asking him about different bottles of wines, he offered to let us taste several before making a decision, even offering his own suggestions we had not considered. Toward the end of our meal, Chef Estevan came out and asked how everything was, which was nice. I noticed him chatting with lots of other guests as well.We opted for the specials for almost all of our food selections, so they may not be available when you dine here, but we had:*Arugula salad*Red cabbage salad (on regular menu)*Boar*Arctic char*Tres leches (on regular menu)We really enjoyed all of the food. I am gluten free and the server was knowledgeable in this and was able to communicate with the chef to make the necessary adjustments to accommodate."
"We went back, and had another great Green Chile Cheeseburger (Wagyu), which was excellent and cooked exactly as requested (med rare). This time I got an amazing fried chile on the side. I don't recall getting it the first time, but man, it's outrageous. Also tried the onion rings with the burger, superb! My wife had Fish and Chips, and it was excellent. Great quality fish, nicely fried and not at all greasy. We sat out again on the nice patio with the three dogs but it's getting too cool for that this time of year. But this place is super dog-friendly. Great service."
"Beautiful place with knowledgeable Staff & great wine list. Menu features delicious small plates, boards, Flatbreads, & desserts to pair with all your favorite wines from around the world."
