"Ate here a few times. Going at different times, it's almost always empty. However, this afternoon the little restaurant filled up with people and they even had people come in to place to go orders. It's always very clean and very modern. The food is good! I got a small bowl of soup and a sandwich. I was full when I left. However, almost everyone in the restaurant got large bowls. To me they were huge! They looked delicious though. If you like Vietnamese cuisine, come here. If not, I wouldn't recommend it!"
"Quick and clean meal. They had 4 vegetarian options for meals & my server was really knowledgeable on recommendations. Service was super fast, meals were large."

"The restaurant host was nice and polite and I was glad I was able to satisfy my craving for Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepe) here...although the crepe seemed a bit too thick and doughy and the fillings were of onions rather than white asian turnips than what I was used to. The claypot was ok. It tasted not much different from normal fried rice with grilled meats...so maybe next time..I would opt for other vermicelli dish instead.Overall though...good taste..and not expensive at all. My first venture here did its job of cutting down my craving for Banh Xeo tremendously. I would love to stop by again..possibly for Banh Xeo..and other rice noodle dishes next time!"
"Everyone very friendly. First time eating this type food, and I absolutely loved it. Lots of flavor, fresh veggies & herbs. Great, great, great. Loads of pastries. I'll be going back."
"I was craving some Bành Xéo and Pho Garden hit the spot. Parking was a little tricky because you think it shares the same parking lot as Village Inn, but it doesn't.The dining area isn't super big, it was cozy. Everyone was nice.We had shrimp Spring rolls as an appetizer, Còm Tàm, Bánh Xéo. Spring rolls were good and the dipping sauce was more on the hoisin sauce flavor side. I'm use to more of a peanut sauce for my spring rolls. My girlfriend enjoyed the Cóm Tàm, the beef was cooked well. I had the Bánh Xéo and it was just one big one. It didn't come with any greens to wrap it, but the sauce was good. There was a good amount of shrimp and pork in it. It did satisfy my craving. All in all, I'm glad we tried this spot out. Just be aware the price may seem high come pares to other similar restaurants."
"This place cannot get any better. This is the best Vietnamese food in the state. You can never go wrong with anything you order here. The taste is phenomenal! The service and the people here treat you like family. I had the combination noodle bowl. As you can see in the picture, it is not a small amount. Does not come with the chile. I add it after. So don't be scared of my picture."
"Delicious Pho! Very flavorful and not greasy like some places. The owner and staff were so kind and made us feel like home! The noodles and fried rice were also very good. So glad we found this place!"
"The place doesn't look like much the inside is modestly decorated, but clean. Central has seen better days and Cafe da Lat is still serving amazing food. I can't recall when they opened, but they've been around more than 12 years. The pho is some of the best pho you can get in a restaurant. They have a special pho pot from Vietnam as I understand. I've been getting the combination pho or pho dac biet for years and it's always amazing. The service is fast and friendly."
"Love this place! This was my second visit here and I love the Banh mi's and pork bao and spring rolls! We also got the pho (forgot to snap a photo) and it was delicious as well maybe one of the best pho base broths I've ever had. The pork was a bit on the dry side this time in my banh mi but still very delicious. I'm not in abq all that often but this is one of my favorite hidden hole type place with delicious food."
"Great Vietnamese food with some solid pho! Private parking out front. Great prices - good portion sizes. If you like Vietnamese food then be sure to check out Pho #1"
"I liked, but didnt love, my lunch here the other day. The booths were almost all full when we arrived, but still got pretty quick service when we arrived. I ordered the grilled chicken vermicelli cold noodle salad bowl. I mixed the ingredients together, but the dish was not served with the usual fish oil so it was a but sticky to get everything to mix. The lettuce was a little past its prime. The chicken was in very small, hard bits. The bowl also comes topped with fried onions (like the ones that come in a can), which was unusual: the texture was offputting and the flavor overwhelming. My boyfriend likes his pho; I tried some and found it a bit oily but yummy. Overall decent lunch experience but will choose other Vietnamese options in Santa Fe before returning here."
"Dined here over the weekend, usually visit the Cottonwood location but we were in the area and wanted to visit this one. Food was delicious as always. We always get the triple combo. Service was good and lots of places to sit inside because it was cold out when we got there. We'll be back soon. Thank you!"

First the bad. Super slow service. Yes there was only one server, but only two tables were seated. They did not honor the discount coupon that popped up when I checked in. They didn't have some of the menu items (said "we don't have that any more). Did not bring out enough spoons for all the bowls of soup. The good. Food was terrific. I had duck & bamboo shoot soup. The duck came in big bony chunks. She provided a duck dipping sauce which was good until later I dumped it into the soup. Then it sucked. So don't dump the duck dipping sauce - just dip.The beef & grape leaf rolls had a strong but I felt delicious flavor. Grandson got the Nam Vang glass noodle soup and the other kids tried his noodles and said his were "the best". However I did see they ate up their pho pretty well. So to sum up - fine food, mediocre service. If you're not easily offended check it out.

This place is AHmazing. Like real good good. Probably the best Vietnamese food I've had in Albuquerque. It's a combo of amazing food, friendly staff, and a cute interior. This place is going to blow up once everyone realizes how good the food is. My boyfriend and I got the avocado smoothie, mango smoothie with boba, 1 order of shrimp spring rolls, and the grilled pork noodle bowl. All came to about 35 bucks. It was so much food my dudes. The spring rolls are huge (2 giant 6 inch rolls), and the flavor was so damn good. We split those and then split the pork noodle bowl together. We had just got done working out, and we were both starving. The noodle bowl is huge, and they packed it full of really fresh veggies and lots of meat. I was literally shoveling it into my mouth while my boyfriend tapped out because he was so full. Plenty of noodles, sauce, meat, and veggies. This place deserves 5+ stars for being super cool, friendly, and great food. 9 bucks for a noodle bowl with that much food? You can't anything this good for the same price anywhere. Oh man, I forgot to talk about the smoothies. They are creamy and they don't skimp on the boba. DEFINITELY worth it. GO EAT HERE NOW!

Overall: Cafe Da Lat is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Albuquerque so far. Granted, I've only tried 2, but the food was good, the price was more than reasonable, and the service was good.Food: 5Crispy Cornish Hen: This dish comes with half cornish hen, rice, pickled carrots and daikon, and a lot of steamed veggies (cabbage, bok choy, broccoli). The cornish hen was well cooked. The skin was crispy and there was very little fat.Vegetable, Tofu, & Noodle: You can choose what type of noodle you would like. We ordered it with egg noodle. The broth was light and clear, and it wasn't too sweet.Service: 5The owner and her husband were the main servers. They were very nice and patient with our questions about the menu.Ambiance: 4Cafe Da Lat is a small, cozy restaurant. It has its own parking lot with plenty of parking spaces.

"What a fantastic new find in little 'ole Santa Fe, NM. About three blocks from the plaza, this innovative new Vietnamese, Thai, Hawaiian fusion restaurant which opened about 3 months ago. I concur with all my fellow Elite Yelpers, a solid 5-star place. If you love this kind of food, or are just looking for a break from the plentiful New Mexican cuisine for one meal, give this one a try.The atmosphere is awesome, very cool vibe. The service was outstanding, attentive but not over-bearing. The dishes were served quickly. They also have a decent wine, beer, drink list. Seating inside and out, and the rear of the restaurant opens up into additional beautiful dining areas. We started out with the chicken liver pate, presented with an Asian flair. Delicious! The accompanying Vietnamese pickles and olives were quite tasty. We then moved on to the crispy turmeric cod. The fish was cooked (fried) perfectly, and the green apple salad, veggies and dill aioli were terrific! We finished up with the caramelized lemongrass eggplant. The eggplant was expertly prepared, and the flavors of the dish were well-balanced. Alkeme is definitely not your typical Santa Fe, NM, restaurant, but that's why you need to give it a try. Highly recommend this one!"
"You walk in and the service guy comes s actually on the annoying side. There was nobody inside and he did not want me to sit at a 4 top.The place is on the dark side, but looks taken care of. Been to other places where it was scary. I'm the only customer so I would think I get their full attention.Ordered fried egg roles with pork and the pho special. I think it is the house special. Pho was tasty and egg rolls are pre made bit tasted well also. I say the experience is okay"
"This was our first time visiting this establishment and possible not returning anytime soon. The establishment is a descent size and indoor is very cozy and dim light type of setting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was descent in flavor but falls short in the basic flavoring the springs rolls ( mind you only had 2 small pieces of meat) and for the egg roll that was drenched in oil. The pineapple entree was my favorite one but the rice fell short on flavoring. The pot jasmine with chicken was extremely hot and lacked the flavor again. I"
"I'm adding pictures to my other review that I forgot to add. Excellent food! I went for lunch with friend and had very friendly wait staff."
"Great little place with a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly service and delicious food. I love the egg rolls and the iced coffee with milk."
"Food is great. But each visit the lobby floor & tables have always been dirty.Single garbage can fills up quickly.I think this place just needs to hire a person dedicated for the lobby.Food is great though."
"Delicious Pho. We each had a beef brisket pho with beef broth. I had the rice noodles, and my friend had udon noodles. Delicious! The medium bowl was packed with meat, noodles and veggies. They included cilantro, jalapeño pepper slices, and green onion. The spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce was good too. The place was clean and the service was friendly."
"Stopped here for dinner and got seated immediately. I decided to try the beef stir fry with white rice that was pretty good. Price was reasonable and service good. They were out of a few items such as spring rolls and tofu, but they did let us know upfront before ordering."
"This is a gas station convenience store with a kitchen in the back. The menu is limited, with about a dozen items like banh mi, noodle bowls, and lemongrass chicken with rice. I could not believe how inexpensive it was (most offerings are under $10) and how delicious this 8" grilled pork banh mi turned out. The bread was soft, the jalapeño was freshly cut, and the grilled pork was solid. I highly encourage ordering takeout as there is no place to sit and wait (or eat). This convenience store is overflowing with retail goods; you can also find the essentials like eggs and milk if your store is out."
"Cute little place tucked into a strip mall. We were looking for something to eat on a cold day and soup sounded perfect. My husband started with the shrimp and pork spring roll and he really liked it. They do not skimp on the filling! I wasn't sure what to order, as the menu has so many options, the owner came over and was asking what I liked and didn't like and he said he had just the thing. I got rice noodle soup with tofu and vegetables and my husband got the rare beef with rice noodles and extra shrimp. The portion sizes are very generous and the broth was absolutely delicious! This place did not disappoint! The owner was so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!"
"I popped in with a friend for a light snack. We ordered a couple appetizers which ended up being plenty to share and perfect. There were some beef wraps in grape leaf that were so tasty and filling. I wouldn't say the taste was spicy hot by any means but had a subtle flavor. And we got spring rolls with shrimp. Everything was freshly made, and by the look of the full dining room, I could tell this was a popular place! I included a couple of pics. I hope to get back there!"
"During my recent visit to the Sawmill Market, I discovered the hidden gem that is Kulantro, and it was an experience to remember! Established with a vision to bring authentic Vietnamese flavors to the community, Kulantro has quickly become a favorite destination for food lovers.I ordered the Kulantro PHO, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The broth was rich and aromatic, infused with a perfect balance of herbs and spices, giving it depth that warms the soul. Each slurp of the noodles was complemented by tender slices of beef, and the fresh herbs added a vibrant touch that elevated the dish. The lime wedges provided a zesty kick that perfectly balanced the savory flavors. The service at Kulantro deserves a special mention too. The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring that my dining experience was top-notch.Overall, Kulantro is a must-visit for anyone seeking delicious Vietnamese cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!"
"Saigon City is an absolute delight! My wife and I have visited Vietnam twice, and every time we're home and craving authentic pho, spring rolls, egg pancakes, and more, Saigon City hits the spot. Their dishes transport me straight back to Vietnam with every bite. Consistently delicious and paired with friendly service--this place truly gets it right!"
"Yummy! From the outside, I won't lie, this place doesn't look like much. It shares a wall with an emissions testing station, but don't judge this book by its cover! My boss wanted to come here for her birthday, and I'm glad we did! First thing I noticed was how many plants are inside and all look extremely healthy. Not really a review point but I liked it. The menu is longggg. Almost overwhelmingly long, but lots of options. I opted for the Pho, which came in a HUGE bowl with lots of accompaniments. I also ordered the tofu spring rolls (not pictured because they were devoured) and the mango boba smoothie. Everything was really tasty and our waiter was very attentive and kind. I'm really glad we came to try it out. I would come back again!"
"We ordered delivery and it came quickly. Placed an order for two of the football rolls which were so delicious, 10/10 I recommend. The image shows 6 rolls a plate so 2 orders was enough for us but when delivered we only had 10 roll instead of 12 in the box. It was disappointing. I had chicken fried rice which was more then enough to make two meals out of it. Everyone enjoyed their food. It's definitely a place to experience just make sure when you order a lot nothing is missing, I'm assuming they realized we ordered 2 orders and then throwing both orders in one box we wouldn't notice the 2 missing. Other than that the food quality was good!"
"Delicious food and very friendly service. All the spring rolls, egg rolls, and Pho are customisable and they have great combo specials. Tried the all vegetarian options this visit and they were amazing. Well developed flavours and everything freshly made. Highly recommend this place."
"I don't know why I didn't realize this sooner, but I hadn't had Vietnamese food for quite the longest time and possibly a few years specifically at Viet Pho's until tonight! I was running errands all day until...on the way to the gym, I realized I hadn't eaten all day and that going to the gym with a growing stomach would be bad for me. So, out of whim, I made an executive decision to turn to Viet's Pho and chose to eat instead of gymming. Best decision ever..and I felt the food at Viet's Pho really hit the spot for me!I had a Banh Xeo (with pork and shrimp---the usual thing how people in Vietnam usually eat) and...it was wonderful. I wouldn't say it was 100% the same as what places in Vietnam have (for example, the tumeric taste wasn't as strong and the veggie garnishes weren't all complete, the way the meats were sliced in a banh xeo was different). But, hey, we are in ABQ, not Vietnam...so I expected some minor adaptations here! That said, the food was still flavorful..and I wolfed down the Banh Xeo in one go even though the serving portion was actually quite generous! Definitely hit the spot for me!The service was also very nice. The staff were attentive from taking orders, checking in with you on what you may need..and anticipating all your needs. Best of all...I still think it's one of the best values out there (definitely reasonable prices). I think with the Banh Xeo and refillable soda, it came to just over $16 with taxes included (I ended up paying slightly over $20 for a wholesome, healthy and very satisfying meal!). On the way to the gym and back home, I kept asking myself..why hadn't I stopped by Viet's Pho more frequently?!?!? .and I think this thought will keep bugging and will cause me to make multiple impulsive decisions to stop by this place again and again in the future because of such a great experience + food there!"
"I have driven past several times, and keep saying that I want to go here. Well, today we stopped. We each got a medium Pho with beef brisket and beef broth. I got the the rice noodles, and the other was with udon noodles the 16 ounce cup was packed to the rim with lots of meat and noodles, and some green onion, jalapeño pepper slices, and cilantro. It was flavorful and very filling. The spring rolls were delicious. The place was clean and decorated nicely. The service was quick, all freshly made, and the two people working there were very helpful and pleasant. I wish them much luck. The food is definitely worth the trip."
"The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. Decor is modern and inviting. The place wasn't jam packed, but they were busy for lunch. The server was frantic, but still assisted me on my take-out order bc I'm new to the menu. I love Vietnamese food, but not familiar how they run things. The menu is a la carte, but are very specific. I really wanted a small side order of just noodles, but they did not offer that. Instead, I opted for their Tofu n Veggie chow mein noodles (similarly thin noodles used for frying the birds nest), which is actually a full entrée. I'm newly vegetarian and wanted something tasty. So I also ordered their vegetarian lemongrass stir fry with steamed rice. As a treat, I added the jackfruit shake. For my partner, I got him something he loves, which is Beef n Broccoli with steamed rice and seafood chow mein stir fry bc he wanted noodles. Wait time wasn't given, but I assumed 15 min. I think I ended up waiting about 25 min? They started to get busier as I waited. There isn't really a designated seating area, so I sat where there was a chair n table next to their register. As I was waiting, in a rush I was told to by another server to call ahead next time. I know the server was trying to be polite, but we just happened to stumble upon this place, otherwise, I would've called ahead. But since I walked in, I didn't want to wait in the car. I guess my presence makes them nervous? I did ask for a side of chili oil, which I had to remind the server who helped me before I left. Also, my shake was the last thing to get bc I had to remind them about that too. Wish I had that to drink while I waited. I felt like they kind of forgot about me. So I had to double check to make sure I had everything before I left. When I finally got to try the food at home, I was pleasantly surprised by the proportions. The food was a little more expensive for the area and other Vietnamese pho places. Partner said the beef n broccoli was ok. Not his favorite like other Chinese places. Fair, maybe bc it's Vietnamese style. I enjoyed my vegetarian dishes, but I noticed like other reviews have said, it's on the sweeter side. I'd also add the sauce is pretty oily too, which isn't my favorite, but still savory enough for me to enjoy. A lot of sauce leaked out into the bag as well. :/ I will say I like the variety of the vegetables and v that they tasted really fresh and vibrant. I love tofu, and the texture was really good. I do love how fluffy and aromatic their steamed rice was. I love to sop up the sauce with it. Overall, the experience could be smoother, but I was still satisfied with the taste of everything. I would come back and call first. I think I spent around $60+ before tip for 4 entrées and a shake."
"Excellent service, we were seated right when we walked in and our drink order was taken immediately. Our server checked on us throughout the meal as well. Started off with their grilled pork spring rolls which have a delicious crunchy baton inside. The variety of textures is a delight: chewy rice wrapper, crisp lettuce, crunchy baton, and tender pork and noodles. Noodle bowl: Noodles and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Pork had a lovely wok hei char and was complimented by the vinegary sweet pickled carrot and daikon. Pho: Flavorful broth and tender crisp veggies, love the plentiful fresh herbs on the side."
"Love the pho here! It's always quick service here, and the food always comes out fast and piping hot. The broth here is flavorful, and it's a great place to stop by on cold evenings. My husband always wishes for more noodles in his bowl just to be fuller by the time we leave! But we like starting with some shrimp spring rolls whenever we come too."
"Picked up an order for my wife. Employees were very friendly. Order was ready on time. Just had to wait 2 minutes. Offered me water while waiting. Good size restaurant just no one else eating at 730 on a Saturday night. Pho soup was very good."
"Combination noodle bowl was on my mind today so I had to go in and treat myself! Ingredients are fresh, tasty, crunchy, colourful and very satisfying. Get the mango sticky rice for desert. Service is always pleasant."
