"Because of its proximity to Flix Brewhouse, I think Thai Boren is sometimes overlooked. However, that would be a mistake. My youngest daughter, and I went to dinner there and both are fans of the yellow curry with chicken. The spice is just right. Feeling the show was an appetizer called moneybags! Check out the photo in the gallery. That was quite a treat, and something we will order again on a future visit. Prices are reasonable, service is strong."
"I had the Tom Ka which was a coconut broth with a hint of red curry and noodles and mushrooms and onions and a touch of cilantro. It was absolutely delicious!! I was blown away and will definitely be back! I couldn't even finish it. I added chicken to line but you can get any protein (or none) that you want. It normally comes with shrimp I believe. I loved it!!"

"Always predctably good, not many frills. your appetizers may come out with the check. and other small snafus. but they are nice, great flavors, pretty good prices."
"Such a charming restaurant! I am vegetarian and my dad is gluten-free and we both had tons of options. My meat-eating mom also loved her pad Thai. The waitress was very helpful and attentive. The food was flavorful and has just the right amount of spice. Will definitely be back!"
"Quaint little restaurant in a cool old building on Canyon Road. The service was outstanding and we were seated immediately. We started out with an appetizer of Fresh Thai Rolls and they were very good. I had the Pad Woon Sen and it was delicious. My wife had the Pad Thai and hers was also very good. Definitely very good Thai food. We plan to go back!"
"This place is not only authentic but very well priced. The food is fantastic and service excellent. This is a must go to in Albuquerque."
"With the stiff competition of southeastern Asian food in this city this place is okay. I had the freshly rolls which are like a 6 out of 10 the beef salad which is Keto Friendly and was a solid 7/10 and the drunken noodle hot. The heat wasn't too bad. Like most drunken noodle plates the heat creeps up on you as you eat. I ordered it as take out because usually restaurants give you a different experience in person versus take out, so it's worth mentioning. All the vegetables were fresh and crisp and this is an okay place to try."
"My friends they are not vegan but they say this place is good, also I am not vegan either. We ordered vegetables tempura and golden tofu for appetizers, and I ordered Pad Thai ! Whoa! Came with salad and spring rolls. Pretty good volume. My friends want me to try Thai tea, that tea was too sweet for me. However everything was so delicious. ( I think I forgot to take pictures :( )"
"Small family owned business that has THE BIGGEST sushi rolls. Combo A was perfect and only $18! Picture below. High quality fish compared to the new modern ones opening up in the area. Quiet place but service was great and everything was clean"
"YUM!We were apprehensive about sushi at an Asian hodge-podge (Japanese and Thai). It's not fusion. It's literally a sushi bar and Thai food in the same restaurant, and it's GOOD. Added bonus: they have gluten free soy sauce!!!Sushi is fresh and generously portioned; the tempura was light, though not the traditional batter. Pad Woon Zen with shrimp was new to us, and we DEVOURED the dish (mung bean threads stir fried with vegetables and shrimp in a sauce that reminded me a little of a lighter pad see ew).Service was friendly, prompt and thorough. The atmosphere tends toward casual. Overall, it is a great place for a casual dinner with eclectic menu choices. 4 stars because I can't give it 4 1/2. When we next visit Albuquerque, this place will be a stop!"
"My daughter loves this place and when she's in town we go. The food is tasty and has the heat you desire. The service is always great and while small it has plenty of seating and food options."

I was super tired and decided not to cook. So my husband ordered the spicy fried rice with beef and I ordered the eggplant curry with fried tofu. We shared the papaya salad which was our favorite part of the whole meal. Everything was amazing and the portion is enough for another meal. I can't wait to try some of the other dishes.

If you are looking for a variety of Asian inspired cuisine, look no more! I ordered the pad Thai, it is always delicious! Don't forget an order of chicken egg rolls!! I went during lunch hour and the service was good and food came out quick. My only recommendation is a lunch menu and to have prices on the menu.

We were looking for an inexpensive lunch in Nob Hill and had a delicious meal at Thai Cuisine II. They were a little understaffed, so service was unavoidably slow, but our server was very friendly and hustled to get everyone their food and condiments in a timely manner. Not a big deal - these things happen!I was in a veggie mood so tried something new to me, Pad Phug Roum Midt, a nice mix of cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, broccoli, snow peas, etc. in a mildly spicy soy-based sauce. It was perfect with some steamed rice tossed in to soak up some of the sauce, and the leftovers were fantastic as a fried rice dish the next morning. My husband got pad Thai with some pineapple added, medium heat. The bite I had was very tasty. This place isn't fancy, but it doesn't have to be to have great food.

This is great place!!! Most Thai restaurants in Santa Fe and Albuquerque are run by Laotians so are not authentic. This place is true Thai! The wait staff was friendly and attentive. They will prepare the food to suit your taste, spicy or mild. I had Pad See Ew and dumplings. DELICIOUS. It is a small place with an intimate feel. Do yourself a favor and try it!

Ordered take out. First time customers. Long time lover of Thai food. While the food was not bad the portions on the "Veggie Delight" which barely filled 1/3 of the container. The Tom kha gai had good flavor BUT it was almost all broth and little meat or mushrooms or other ingredients. The papaya salad tasted good. They put it in a styrofoam container not liquid container so it leaked out everywhere. The Pad Thai was not bad nor was it good- without much flavor, at least it filled the containerI spent

Stopped and picked up the Tom yum soup. I asked for with noodles. The flavour was great asked for 2.5-3 for heat but there was no heat at all. Not a problem just an observation. By the time I ate the soup the noodles had sucked up all the juice. My faulty should have asked for the noodles on the side as I wasn't eating straight away. Great flavours I will be back

Lively interior. Staff is kind. Dining room is a bit cramped. Menu is abundant and provides a wide variety of options to vegans. Red curry was okay. Tons and tons of vegetables (I subbed veggies instead of tofu or the other mock protein options). The carrots were extra delicious and sweet. The curry itself was a bit more on the savory side which I why I call it okay vs great. The consistency was on the thicker side which my palate prefers. Side salad was fair, nothing special. Bathroom needed some serious attention. TP missing, sink faucet isn't oriented for correct operation. Paper towels empty. Wait time was acceptable. IMO, prices are a bit high for some items.Didn't depart planning a return asap, but would consider it again and try something else.

"I had the basil stir fry with chicken, and it's so yummy I went back a couple days later with a friend! We both got the basil stir fry, and she said that I always know the best things to eat."
"This place just opened and so far it's great! The service and workers are very nice and attentive. The food was yummy and well made. I really enjoyed my dragonfruit fizz with lychee jelly. My sister and I really liked the jungle noodles and my sister's bf enjoyed his pad Thai! I hope this place gets more popular because I definitely recommend this place if you're craving Thai food. The dinner ended awesome with mango sticky rice!"
"Great new place to check it out in Rio Rancho, food was hot & flavorful and bountiful portions. Had a variety of appetizers and main dishes and was pleased with all selections. The place is inviting and clean and the staff is so sweet. Definitely a spot to frequent for Thai cuisine."
"Simple review: everything was excellent and I can't wait for my next Thai meal here. Ask for the Thai tea sweet or less sweet. Ask for the heat and get the medium because it gets real hot, Thai hot. Sweet Rice Asian Express is run by a super sweet lady. Please be kind to her. The whole family was there on the second visit. I believe it was the husband in glasses, cute boy, and mom doing the cooking. I know, it's a food truck but it's run in ship shape fashion. Food this good won't be relegated to a truck for long. Get it while you can. Cheers!"
"A one woman band runs this hidden Thai place. She's the waitress, cook and cashier. Simply amazing. The food didn't take long at all and it was great! I got the pad see ew, Thai tea, dumplings and sweet rice with custard. My friend almost had to roll me out of there, I was beyond stuffed. If you're craving Thai food and want to help out a local business, check this one out."
"I have always enjoyed my visits here, no complaints about the food, great service, and reasonable prices. I really like the fact I can walk here from my place. My new favorite dish is papaya salad Lao style extra hot. I enjoy the extra spicy. The apmoshere is very welcoming. Great portions. I would recommend it for a lunch or early dinner. It's not in the best location, but I have no problem walking around the neighborhood."
"Nice spot for Thai food! Staff was very friendly when ordering even though they were busy from the holiday (July 4). Limited menu but everything was done well. Green curry was delicious and had some nice heat to it. Perfect amount of food. Hubs like the Phad Thai as well. Overall, great spot for Thai food in a small town."
"Finally I got here. I've had many people recommend it,it's just down the street and it's taken me 15 years to get here. My loss. I had a lunch special which includes: soup, egg rolls (2 small), black rice pudding and fruit. My main course choice was Chicken pad Thai. For many years x I couldn't find anything to compare to my Shaker Heights, OH favorite. I finally just stopped comparing. Thai Cuisines lunch was very good. Lovely Thai flavors, generous portions, great service. It was quiet when we entered , many others filed in after us. My husband like his pineapple and rice combo, he forgot the name ! But he is difficult to please. We will be back, sorry we took so long to get here. Great lunch spot!"
"Delicious Thai food. Our server was very attentive and kind. Looks a little sketch from outside but we enjoyed dining in. I had the stir fry ginger w chicken and my guest had the pad Thai. We both drank hot tea and also tried their veggie egg rolls. The flavors were delish."
"First time ordering here and I really liked the fried rice!! Good flavors and not too greasy. I like the spice too nice and hot. I've tried a few different places and the fried rice is always bland but this place has good seasoning. The pot stickers were nice too with the sauce. Definitely will order again Glad I tried!"
"The FOOD? Oh my! It is outstanding. Orchid on every plate. Everything my dining companions selected was, without a doubt the perfect selection. I so wanted to ask to trade, or just have a bite or two, but I wasn't willing to give up a single morsel of mine. If you had seen and tasted it you would understand why I was being selfish. It was that good. The solution is to come back and try all their dishes. The SERVICE? Polite, professional and fast. Couldn't ask for anything more. Our server never missed a beat. The AMBIANCE? Comfortable. A little stark. Tile and metal. But clean and without a doubt their concentration is on the outstanding food - where it should be.Orchid now sits right on the top of my list for Thai cuisine in ABQ. Perhaps anywhere. It deserves at least a 5 star review. In my opinion a few more stars wouldn't hurt."
"Flavor galore! Service is top notch!! The location is a little hidden, although it is right off Paseo Del Norte, we tend to drive by so fast that you may have missed it. I had the pineapple curry with shrimp and a cold Thai Tea. Very nice portion size. The flavor combination was so delicious! Plenty of comfortable seating."
"Wow! Such a wonderful experience here. Had the pad see ew with shrimp and pad Thai w chicken both very good. Potstickers were great. Left a wallet and they found it and saved it. So nice! Loved the soup lunch came with too. Can't wait to go back."
"Location is great, really nice line up in this strip mall *Burrow Cafe, Firenze Pizza, Tako Ten, Boxing Bear Brewery, Paleta Bar, Thai Street, and a few other businesses*....Quaint setting, smaller intimate space....food came out quickly! I ordered the drunken noods with chicken and springs rolls to go, really enjoyed that! I'm looking to try the yellow curry and perhaps the drunken noods again with beef next time around. Very pleasant experience overall."
"Interesting ambiance however, do not let that fool you! Staff was so friendly, treated us like family eating at their house. We order the Masaman curry, Thai beef salad, and the Arroy Dee noodles. Not only were they beautiful but oh so delicious! We finished everything and considered ordering some food to go for later. Our kids loved the noodles! Highly recommend this place, don't get turned off by the atmosphere"
"We decided to try something a little different tonight, so glad we did. The dining area was clean and spacious. The employees were kind and helpful. It didn't take long for our food to arrive once we ordered. I checked out the women's bathroom, nice and clean. Our food was fresh, vegetables tender, flavors right on. We drank iced tea and water, surprisingly the tea was good, not watered down."
"I hadn't been to Sala thai since their move to its new location. The new location is off of Richmond just down a few blocks from their original location. All orders are to-go only and to order, you call them. Upon arrival you walk up to the window to pay and to pick up your food. The food has stayed the same in the sense it's good quality and tasty. I got chicken dumplings, the pad thai special, and Sala thai fried rice. All were perfectly cooked and punched a powerful flavor. The pad thai special is made with cellophane noodles rather than the flat noodles. It was slightly lighter than regular pad thai and still had a great pad thai flavor. Their spice levels are from 1-4, with 4 being the spiciest. Their level 4 isn't as spicy as thai hot levels at other restaurants but still is a good addition of flavor to your dish. I'm glad the food still has the quality they had in their old location. A great place to go when you want to pick up food but don't want to walk inside of a restaurant."
