"Had a family group of 9 at El Nido for dinner on a Wed night in Dec. Outstanding service and food! (Granted it was a slow night.) Cocktails were great. Everyone loved what they ordered: salmon, branzino, limoncello chicken, pork chop & mole, wagyu burger, 2 kinds of pizzas, and filet mignon. Can't say enough about how beautiful and tasty the dishes were. Spacious dining rooms made for fairly quiet dining. I would definitely eat here again the next time I'm in Santa Fe."
"I heard from multiple sources that Antiquity Restaurant is unquestionabley on the short list of candidates for best restaurant in Albuquerque. Armed with these trusted recommendations, I made a dinner reservation a month in advance, and then we dined here. Antiquity did NOT disappoint!Located in the touristy portion of Old Town, when we arrived and saw the exterior for the 1st time I didn't have high hopes for the interior, but it turned out to be all good; the inside is dark, cozy, and almost dripping with Old World charm. We were seated at a small, semi-private wooden booth, and we could smell and hear them cooking steaks on the charcoal grill inside their brick and stone oven; you can actually see the oven when you walk in the door.We started off with a soup, made with chicken, cream, and green chilis; it was delicious, and the salad they served with it was even better :-) We both ordered ribeye steaks as our entree. The steaks were perfectly seasoned, wonderfully marbled, and beautifully presented, with fresh vegetables and broccoli and cheddar mashed potatoes. Service was informative, attentive, and friendly - the owner even stopped by toward the end of the meal to make sure we were receiving good care (a very nice touch!). All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, and look forward to returning!"
"New location inside of smith's, but the food has stayed delicious as ever. Victor, the owner is a local gem. Definitely try the fish tacos, chile relleno, or anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed! Super fast service that is always friendly."
"The good. The bread and roasted garlic cloves is delicious. The salad was generous and dressings fresh and flavorful. The bad. The oysters were good but very small and expensive. I know we live in thedesert but that doesn't change the fact that they were not worth it. I ordered the Chilean sea bass. It was OK. Slightly undercooked. Not a great sear. My son ordered the same and his was cooked properly. The seared tuna appetizer was slightly overcooked. It was tasty and was large portion. Overall it was just not worth the money. $38 for the sea bass that was not cooked perfectly and while it tasted good it wasn't great. The service was very good. Especially considering that they were very busy. I will be looking for alternatives rather than going back here."
"Pelican's is always one of my favorite spots to eat and have a cocktail or too. Their happy hour bar menu is fabulous. I absolutely love their crab cakes and ahi tuna for appetizers. They serve bread with roasted garlic and olive oil. It's tasty! I almost always order the Sesame Cesar Salmon Salad which isn't on the menu anymore, but they will still make it for me. I love their homemade blue cheese salad dressing especially when you dip sweet potato fries into it! YummmmmTheir martinis are strong and delicious and so is their huge slice of Mud Pie. You can share it with three to four people. The service is always on par as is the atmosphere. The wood decor makes you feel like you're on a boat and the fish tanks are a nice touch. Cheers!"
"A great option when you are craving some not so healthy Mexican eats, including lots of chips and salsa. They have really thin chips which I like it makes some extra crispy and their salsa is really good. The building itself is really beautiful and there's some really cool decor. Having too much fun looking at their light fixtures and when you walk in, there's a fire going which was really nice. They have a pretty solid, happy hour with seven dollar drinks and seven dollar food items. I do think that some of the food items are better deals than others. The cheeseburger chimichanga I got was a good deal, especially with a little queso but a friend got a shrimp tostada, which was just a lot less food."
"The ceviche is excellent, service was excellent, restaurant is clean, inviting, and very pleasant experience overall. We loved the enchiladas and the combination plate. Highly recommend you try their salsa also!"
"**COMPLIMENTARY CHIPS AND SALSA(S)**As soon as we walked in I felt like I was back in Puerto Vallarta México! I almost expected the ocean views when we entered. The delicious aroma from the kitchen had us already excited about our foodKimberly our server was wonderful. Thank you for the great service! The fish we had was fresh tasting and cooked well but they really don't add a lot of salt. That's actually better for your health and you can always add salt and limón to get it as salty as you like.I needed to eat something light after a week long fast and this was perfect. *PRO TIP*The things to get here:*Tacos al Patron*Mar y tierra and*Cóctel de camarón I'll order this next time.ENJOY AMIGOS!!!"
"You're Grill the OneNew Mexico Green Chile Cheeseburger Challenge part 3 of 4The relative newcomer in my Green Chile Cheeseburger Challenge, as they've only been in business for less than ten years (2015), as opposed to the rest of the competition which have all been around for a minimum of fifty years. But Yo Mama ain't no slouch, as despite the lack of experience, they managed to pull out a #2 ranking in my arbitrary poll. Let's get to the goods:Green Chile Burger (aka Bosque Burger):The Bun: Tasty artisanal bun that's only about a step-down from homemade. 4/5Green Chiles: Check! There's nothing to complain about here, and they're the only one out of the four that used certified NM Green Chiles, if that means anything to anyone. 5/5Cheese: The NM standard for cheese is a slice--or three--of American cheese - and they got that right here. 5/5Ancillary topping: It does come with the standard burger accouterments of lettuce, red onions, pickles, and tomatoes. For a Green Chile Cheeseburger I feel like it should be served plain, as the veggies distract from the harmony of Chiles and beef, but I'll give them bonus point for the extra freshness of these ingredients. 4/5Burger: Perfectly cooked burger that was juicy and had a nice char. The seasonings in the beef really paired well with the chiles, as the burger as a whole was a harmonious meal. 5/5Fries: Their fries weren't housemade, but they were delicious and had a tasty seasoning on them. 4/5Conclusion: Overall, at 27 out of 30 points, the Bosque Burger holds its own against some weighty competition and is a worthy runner-up in my competition. Other observations:*Abundant parking in a private lot*No outdoor dining*Local brews on-tap*Friendly service*Great branding and interior décor that really has the feel of a national chain."
"We went on a Friday evening and the place was virtually deserted. No liquor license for an unknown reason, not a problem for us non drinkers, but probably a reason no one was there. Waiters were uninformed as to reasons.Dinner was fine but vibe was missing."
"I red the reviews and we were in town and wanted to try a local place for lunch. It's in the downtown area and the restaurant was clean and staff nice. The food was good, even if you eat in it's delivered on disposable plates and plastic utensils. From the time we orders it took almost 40 Minutes to get the meal. If you're wanting a quick mean this isn't your place if you have the time to relax and talk this may be a good place."
"While in Taos we ate at a local nearby to place we were staying and their Mexican food was delicious."

Went here while on a work trip. Had half dozen oysters on a half shell. The petit filet bacon wrapped and a beautiful Zinfandel from Sonoma County. The food was amazing, the service was well above the expectations and the ambience was cozy, warm and intimate. Highly recommend this place for a nice dinner out or a date night. A must when in Albuquerque.

Service was excellent and the Happy Hour menu starting at 4pm was a nice touch. These items only available in the bar and great prices on drinks.

It's been some time since I've seen Red King Crab legs at a menu, so I just had to order them. Let me tell you, they were worth the price and did not disappoint! The wait was a bit long for two, but I guess that's to be expected on a Friday. Our waiter was was great and on top of things all night. I'll already looking for an excuse to head back for more!

It's been a while since I visited this location but it's always nice to come here to the awesome interiors and atmosphere. I don't know of any other New Mexican restaurants here with interiors this nice. Our server, Agnieszka, was equally awesome. Probably the best server I've encountered in a while. She's from Poland and was so personable. I asked her to write her name out so I could spell it correctly. Her recommendation of the Cheese Chili Rellenos w Green Chili was spot on. I think the best I've ever had. My friend had the Beef Enchiladas w Red Chili - also delicious. I typically love their dishes w the Serrano cream sauce but after I tried a small sample found it too hot that day. They serve Calabacitas (Mexican squash) as a side as well as rice and beans which I love. When we finished Agnieszka brought out the fresh hot Sopapillas perfectly timed. The manager, Victoria, came over and said hello which was also nice. The whole time the 2 Mexican musicians were playing their guitar music which rounded out our time there nicely. Will back soon since it was so good at this location. Sorry I didn't take any pics bc I was so hungry! ;))

We came here while traveling in Taos and it did not disappoint. We started with the ceviche app and WOW so fresh and tasty and im not the biggest fan of fish.I couldn't get enough.I had the plate you see but forgot the name( MY BAD) it was so large and I had to take 1/2 home with me. It was basically a beef type quesadilla but had another name I couldn't pronounce (LOL)The house Margherita was 8.00 and generous portion. The staff was friendly (ALL OF THEM!) seems like a family owned place which is always a win for this Yelper. When you want authentic New Mexican food and you're in Taos- give this spot a try!

Decided to try Mexican seafood in New Mexico. This place has mixed reviews but our experience was great. Started with house chips, the perfect kind and they came with a guacamole style salsa, pico de gallo, and bean dip. Shrimp and octopus cocktail (coctel campechana) and their Caldo Vuelvea la Vida "El Mejor" - "Come Back to Life" seafood soup with shrimp, octopus, scallops, clams, crab legs, and calamari. The seafood was perfectly cooked and tender. Fresh and tasty. We didn't get a crab leg or calamari but there were baby muscles and shrimp. The broth was tasty I would have liked a little more depth and some heat. Kimberly our waitress was awesome and the place could mot be more tropical. Really nice experience.

"Some of the best Cevice I've had in NM! I would get the Ceviche Nachos to share with someone because it comes with a lot! The chips served with this dish are so good and it has a small kick and a lot of flavor"
"We enjoyed the food and the mariachi. The food at Lindo Mexico is superb and the service is great. We really liked the mariachi and will visit them again."
"Sharky's is our absolute favorite place to eat in Albuquerque. The tacos and ceviche and bacon wrapped cheese stuffed peppers were heaven. We couldn't get enough! I only wish our return route on our road trip took us back because this place was that good. The owner is super nice. We talked and visited both nights. I didn't get photos of the salsas but they were delicious and complimented the dishes perfectly. We will be going back every time we are in Albuquerque from now on. My wife just asked me what I wanted to do for Father's Day and I said I would love to go to Sharky's, it's only 10.5 hours away... Seriously, this is my new happy place. I could eat here every single day and never grow tired of the food."
"After loving Joe's for more than a decade, it is with great sadness that I have to downgrade my previous 4 star to 2.5, rounded down. The atmosphere is no longer the kitschy Italian, dim but comfortable "traditional" US Italian restaurant. It is now much lighter and brighter. While this is great for my aging eyes to read the menu, it just ruined the ambiance I'd grown so used too. The service was good, not quite up to the attentive staff of before, but still ok. The food. It just isn't close to what it was. 12 years ago I swore I'd never consider the Olive Garden again. Sadly, I can't say that any longer. We will be looking for a different traditional Italian spot. I hope things turn back around, it's sad when a business you loved sells and changes so dramatically for the worse."
"This was our first time trying Costa Azul, i'll start by saying the decor brought a big smile to my face with how colorful it is. The service was great, our waitress was friendly & attentive. Mom had the shrimp cocktail and while she appreciated that it was loaded with shrimp she was let down with the lack of flavor and spice. I had the fish tacos and I also was disappointed in them, they lacked flavor and the fish just didn't taste very good to me. I also didn't like that the fish was diced up like tiny potato's and kept falling out. The chips and green salsa were great, the pico had to many tomatoes and not enough jalapeños for our taste. I'm not sure that we will go back but I did enjoy trying out a restaurant that I had never been to before."
"Juneteenth. Monday, June 19, 2023. Visited here with my wife for lunch. We were taking a break from the nearby hotsprings. The hostess seated us within ten minutes. She sat people, brought them menus, and even refilled water. I told her she needed a raise. We watched as customers seated after us received their orders before us. It took twenty minutes for our order to come. I ordered a cup ($6) of the Tortilla soup. This came with multi-colored tortilla strips and a thick, flavorful broth. Quite hearty. See attached photo. My main dish was the grilled baby gem salad ($14). This featured baby romaine hearts, fried kale, shaved manchego cheese, and lemon-oregano vinaigrette. I paired this with sesame crusted ahi tuna ($8). The tuna had been cooked to perfection and the light texture melted in my mouth. The cheese cubes perfectly complemented the fried kale. A nice light dish after the heavy tortilla soup. This restaurant serves good food, but I wish the service had been faster. Giving three stars because of the lackluster service."
"Recently found this place while looking for cajun nearby. Never realized it was there! They have an all you can eat option for those who are truly starving, but Ive always gotten just a pound of shrimp with corn, sausage and potatoes. They do have combos for those in a party which will definitely fill you up and have some leftover to take home. The sauces are just right in my opinion. Not too thick and not too runny. Modern day vibe but they of course provide bibs gloves and the tools needed to get cracking."
"This place is really good. Carnitas burrito is top notch. Love NM but this place reminds me of Mexican food in Southern California. Fresh ingredients, sensible menu, staff that obviously love eachother. Great spot!"
"This is one of the best restaurants in Santa Fe. The food is great and exactly as it's described. The service is impeccable. The bar has fun and yummy cocktails and they have a great wine list. And the seating - it's all comfortable. I know that doesn't matter to a lot of people - but it matters to me and I appreciate it. Make a reservation - you won't be disappointed."
"They added on a tip to the final charge. I did not give them a tip, they added in 3 dollars. The charge came out to be 28.96 when it should've been 25.95. Dishonest business practices"
"5 star Seafood boil w/mild crackin sauce. Sauce had great flavor. Fried catfish, oyster's and chicken tenders the kids didn't like. Lacked flavor when I tried the oysters. If ever in town again, I will def get the boil & sauce."
"I had lunch at Cielito Lindo yesterday with my lady friend and we had the nicest time EVER! We both ordered margaritas and they were delicious. I would've loved a fruity blended margarita but these were just fine and they had the perfect amount of tequila. I ordered the fish ceviche. The fish was fresh and flavorful. The portion was generous. My friend had.......you know what? I enjoyed my lunch so much I can't remember what my friend had. I do remember she was just as happy as I was. We both loved the salsa, chips and queso that were served before our meal. The service could not be beat either. Our waiter was charming, competent and very efficient. We sat on the patio which was shady, breezy and had a nice view. I'm looking forward to trying many of the other menu items. I will most definitely be coming back."
"The first thing when you walk in the host he point at a board and says "this is what we are out of, is this ok?" There are 4 items on there, but as we were looking at the board he grabs the menus walks to the back of the restaurant plops them on the table and walks off. Not cool.... Waitress: she was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet and extremely attentive to us. It was our first visit so we were not sure what we wanted, plus they were out of stuff. We ended up taking a picture of what they were out of, since the host left us that the front. She on the other hand helped us decide and then kept our cups full. Food: the food was great! We ordered a boil to split between 2 adults and 1 child. It was a good size, although if you want more potatoes and corn it only comes with one, but the waitress did point this out. We would come back, hopefully the host isn't a complete jerk next time."
"New food truck that is open Tuesday - Saturday. Very friendly, convenient location and a small but unique menu that is a welcome addition to the area. The Esé sandwich was delicious and and ingredients in the sauce was fresh and vibrant. Looking forward to trying the crab bites and mac and cheese soon!"
"This place just opened and so far it's great! The service and workers are very nice and attentive. The food was yummy and well made. I really enjoyed my dragonfruit fizz with lychee jelly. My sister and I really liked the jungle noodles and my sister's bf enjoyed his pad Thai! I hope this place gets more popular because I definitely recommend this place if you're craving Thai food. The dinner ended awesome with mango sticky rice!"
"Was the 14 mile drive worth it? We'll happy to report it was. Another hole in the wall, order at the counter and have a seat - or take out. Easy menu, lotsa choices. For me it was the Chile Rellaño burrito & Carne Asada Quesadilla for the Mrs with a couple of cokes. No fountain drinks, they came in a can. We grabbed a seat and soon after the home made chips & queso came out. Queso wasn't thick, but it was good. Our food came out about the time we finished the chips. My chile rellaño was wrapped in a nice thin tortilla (don't like the thick cake like ones). It was loaded with the chile, cheese & beans. Great taste, fell apart about 1/2 way thru, so knife & fork was put to good use. Used the salsa bar for red salsa & pico de gallo to add some heat. The salsa was good and not overly hot. The quesadilla was a thin tortilla folded over and loaded with carne asada & cheese. Again good taste and guac & sour cream on the side. So yes the drive was worth it. The only issue I have is the credit/debit card surcharge. Having owned a business, credit card fees are part of the costs of doing business. Menu prices should be reflected in the cost of food."
"Stopped in to have one last night out for some good food and drinks before kicking off the new year and the food was so delicious and the drinks were fun. Our waitress was on top of it all night out food and drinks came out quick and delicious and my favorite part of the restaurant is the decor from the metal garden to the tortilla bar it was a great night and can't wait to go back!"
"This place was solid! The shrimp that is in the shrimp and grits is irresistible and the soup of the day (shrimp bisque) was a great compliment. Loved every bite"
"Definitely a hidden gem. We have been to the sushi spot a few doors down but this was worth the find and stop. Staff speaks english and Spanish. Super friendly. Food came out quickly. And was absolutely delicious. I had to stop myself from eating all the chips with the refried beans and pico so I didn't fill myself up too quickly before the main meal. The steak was tender. The vegetables cooked just right. There is a sign out front but none on the door itself. If you're looking for good Mexican food, try them out."
"I talk about home in the walls frequently & my affinity towards them. This place defines them. A lot people in a small area serving great Mexican food. Today was a large bowl of menudo. Almost everyplace serves posole - few serve menudo. The menudo was "picoso" it had a lot of tripe and for another $1 you could get extra. Instead of tortillas you get a roll to soak up the juices. Overall our breakfast was excellent. If the rest of the menu is this good, we have found our perfect place for Mexican. This is one of few places I say is an absolute must try!"
"After mixed reviews I thought I'd try it myself. The place is clean, quaint and friendly environment. I ordered the lunch L.5 Orange Chicken for $8.75. The order came with a descent size egg drop soup, fried rice, and an egg roll. Overall, customer service was a 10/10, menu options was a 10/10, time from order to food to table was a 10/10 and flavor and quantity for a lunch meal was 10/10. Got time, give this place a try it is worth it and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend."
"My husband and I went there to eat dinner last Friday about 5:30. Waitress came over with menus and there was hardly anyone there. I think some of the kitchen staff was sitting on the patio for a little while at first. The waitress was very nice and helped us decide what to order from their extensive menu. After we ordered and she went back inside to bring the order to kitchen, she came back out and said sorry that the kitchen was being remodeled that day so no food was available. So weird that she wouldn't know that? I paid $7 for the Corona beer and we left. So overpriced beer and no food."
"Fresh, clean, and delicious food. Plates are generous portions and great prices for value and quality. I had the surf and turf tacos which tasted superb, the spices, "secret" sauce and the different textures created a blast of flavors. The green cactus tortillas paired well with all the ingredients.I was pleasantly surprised that their food was not drenched in grease which I appreciate. They offer a small and concise menu, nothing is overpriced. Great addition to Los Lunas community and New Mexico food trucks. Will be returning soon."
