"I stumbled upon this place looking for a local jerky spot that is near my work. At first its hard to find this place as they are tucked away on a side street and have a small sign in the window so it can be hard to find. Other than that they offer some killer jerky combos. My favorite was the Red/Green/Lemon Pepper and my other favorite was the Red Chile Garlic. They offer quite a big selection and sell by the ounces and lbs. It was all pretty comparable as far as pricing goes to other shops around town. I also liked the fact the jerky wasn't dry and wasn't very thin like other places."

"This jerky is so good! I've never been to the store, but I started ordering it online because I was interested in the crispy style. My initial order was for the green chile and the teriyaki. I didn't realize the teriyaki wasn't the crispy kind until I received it. They do have it listed on the about our jerky section of the website, but I feel like there should be a bold disclaimer on the teriyaki page as it's the only one that's a thicker and chewier jerky. It was fine, but I won't order it again. For my most recent order I got three large bags of the green chile and it's so addicting (I'm actually eating it right now). I bought three because the shipping is pricey, but they were running a discount so I thought it made it worth it to buy a few bags. It would be great to see them offer free shipping over a certain price because it's hard to justify spending that much on jerky, but I try to make it so that I can buy in bulk to even it out. On my next order I think I'll need to try some more flavors, but I feel like the green chile will always bea. favorite."

"I couldn't have enjoyed my visit to this local market more. I do wish the origin of the meat was labeled but besides that it was a wonderful experience. The butchers were friendly, helpful and engaging. I bought beef short ribs that are beautiful and were reasonably priced. While there I asked about bulk chickens and left with 8 whole chickens at a wonderful price while supporting a small local business. I had to wait a bit for the bulk order and enjoyed a soda water at their tables while watching the variety of customers come in. It really feels like a local market and I plan to go back whenever I need meat outside of my meat shares. Also I picked up a lovely slice of pork belly!"

"This place was a bit of a drive to get to from Rio Rancho. It can be over an hour during rush hour. However, the Jaramillo family that owns this business is super nice and friendly. I didn't mind the drive so much because of their customer service. I brought them a quartered buck mule deer for processing. They carried all four quarters from my Jeep into their establishment. I asked them to make half the meat into ground deer, mixed with 20% beef fat since deer is so lean. The other half they made into Italian sausage with 20% pork. When I picked up the meat, 2 weeks later, I had 8 packages of Italian sausage and 8 packages of ground deer. For all this meat, I paid a total of $99! This was a very fair, nice price, because other processors, which will remain unnamed, charged me over $120 for this same service in the past. While picking up the meat, I couldn't resist buying some pork chops for $10. They sell quality cuts of domestic cow and pig as well. When I got them home, there were 9 thick pork chops in the package. They were marbled beautifully. I will visit this business again whenever I have wild game that needs to be processed. They charge a fair price and their customer service is the best."

"Keller's is amazing! We ordered a 12 pound prime rib for Christmas Eve dinner. I ordered it 4 days in advance and it was ready for pick up when promised. The cut was perfect. The marble and bright red of fresh meat was more than I could ask for. We added a rub the night before and put two layers of wrap to seal in the flavor. The meat was cooked to perfection with the directions given from Kellers. Best speciality meat in the city. Also, they have Tim's Cascade potato chips. Nice nod to the PNW."

I first fell in love with Jerky by Art over 10 years ago and that love has steadily grown the more I've tried other jerky places. The quality here is steady and the flavor is phenomenal! And Art has an amazing, giving heart! He consistently sends jerky to the troops overseas. He gives back to this community in so many ways without ever asking for recognition.My parents and brother are vegan. So it has been a bummer not to be able to share my love of Art's jerky with them. "The outside of this place lists it as El Naranjero. However, the sign on the strip mall refers to it as El Herradero.Nice place to get totopos, which are strips of fried tortillas and then seasoned. Like tortilla chips but with a slightly different texture. I had never had totopos before, let alone heard of this place until I had them at a friend's place.This is your typical Mexican panadería (bakery), carnicería (butcher), taqueria, y supermercado all in one. Doesn't carry everything. By supermarket, I mean more of a convenience store, but there is no word for that in Spanish. They don't have my favorite Mexican dessert: pastel tres leches, but I saw an assortment of Mexican breads and cookies."
