"Kei and Molly is such a fun spot for some holiday shopping and more (but really top of mind for holiday stuff). They are known for their prints, specifically their tea towels but they also offer other local goods and overall there is just a lot of heart in the store. They do some really cool things in the community and I highly recommend checking out more about their business model. So many beautiful artisan gifts can be found here and I'll definitely be back for their next misprint sale."
"If you are looking for a nice souvenir store, Gift & Gourmet could be a nice choices. It's easy to find in downtown Santa Fe, near Loretto Chapel. They have some cool home decor items, Christmas ornaments, food items, nice quality, decent prices. Nice decor and atmosphere, a cute store in the middle of it all."
"When I need awards this is the place. There is so much more than regular awards. From glassware to pen sets. The staff is amazing at helping you select what fits your budget and award needs. They also have a great selection of out of the box items and traditional ones for weddings and other special occasions."
"Right off the bat, I have to mention this is a great spot to grab something really nice for the bearded folks in your life. They have some super fancy shaving sets and lots of just masculine gifts in general. They also have lots of other fancy gifts for everyone in your life but sometime masculine gifts can be a little harder to find and this is the place for that. I found some very fun alcohol related gifts that I would love for my own bar area, super fancy. They are located right off of Rio Grande in the plaza where Two Cranes and Les Combes are. I'd been wanting to check them out and holiday shopping was the perfect occasion. They go above and beyond with the gift wrapping as well, so cute! Perfect for those like me, who can't wrap to save their life."
"Creations in art! This place is a Central art gallery in the downtown area of Albuquerque. They have a great collection of diverse art, all showcasing the local talent, scenery and culture of the Land of Enchantment. They focus on New Mexico scenes and artists heavily here. It's a long list of talented local artists that they're showing off in different media. They have a great collection of paintings, pottery, clocks, knickknacks, and tchotchkes. My favorite stuff was the paintings of New Mexico in the wintertime, or of the Sandia Mountains. The staff was very welcoming, and answered questions about the works. They have a friendly white dog that's eager to greet any customers and make sure you see the art! The prices were reasonable for the quality of work that you're getting. Most of the stuff wasn't impulse buys, but something that you'd proudly display on your mantle of your southwestern home. Parking can be difficult, since it's on the Albuquerque main drag, Central Ave. There's metered parking out front."
"Having grown up not too far from the motherland of all "Christmas Shops" - Bronners...The "Christmas Shop" is a nice, smaller version, well worth the time to stop by and check out a surprisingly large selection of Christmas/Holiday decorative's. Also, every time we've stopped by, everyone there has been warm/friendly/courteous...and mind you, it's always been during their crazy Christmas Season. Also worth noting...they're very "stroller" friendly. With all the "things" one could "bump over" or "knock off"...they just welcome you in and ask how they can help! No guilt-pointed smirks or sighs, just smiles. :)There's something here for everyone - well worth the trip in...especially after the Christmas rush as well! :)"
"If you dislike tea you and I will probably have a problem. I love tea, I love loose leaf tea, I love bags of tea, I love anything with the word "tea" in it.Nob Hill has been missing a place to buy quality loose leaf tea. I was more than excited when this placed opened because it gives everyone a reason to try different types of tea from various regions! So, if you love Lipton, that canned stuff, that good stuff stop in and get your variety on!"
"Patricia and Martha made my wedding cake for me. We had planned our wedding to be in August of 2020, but with COVID we had to reschedule it multiple times. They kept in touch and delivered the exact cake we had spoken about. I added some greenery and a topper to my cake, but they delivered a beautiful 3 tier white cake with elegant minimalist detail. Everyone enjoyed the cake and many had a second helping! Thank you guys so much!!!"
"Finally made it to this amazing shop. Talavera prices are very good. Nice selection and super nice owners. If you live in Albuquerque definitely worth a drive out to this small business. After going to the high end well known nurseries in "the city" really like and highly recommend this location."
"Love love love this flower shop! They had everything we were looking for. They even knew all the flowers my daughter's cats were allergic to. The flowers are just stunning and a huge assortment. They also have beautiful plants and cute little trinkets too. They saved the day for us!"
"For some reason the flowers that they sell and deliver seem to last twice as long as flowers from any other place. They delivered a beautifully crafted bouquet on time with the professionalism one would hope to get. They're not the cheapest just the best."
"If you haven't been to Duran's, you need to check this place out. Whether it's for grabbing a bite to eat, doing holiday shopping, or filling a prescription, these guys have it down pat. Focusing on their diner, they make excellent New Mexican food. Over the years, I've tried a lot of different dishes and have enjoyed them all. They make great leftovers, too. The wait staff knows how to deal with busy times (which is most of the time) and is kind. There's always a line to get a table, but don't worry. There's plenty to look at and buy. I love this place for kitchen supplies, kids' games, greeting cards, casual clothing, and tchotchkes. The handful of times I've come here to get my own prescription filled or go with a friend who needs to, it seems like the prices are reasonable. They are a full-service pharmacy. They offer immunizations, including those for travel."

Sincerely patient, helpful, and kind customer service on the phone and in person...AND high quality work. Jason helped me with my inquiries on the phone prior to me coming in. He also did the laser engraving on my leather dopp kit (three letters/initials). In the store, I was really indecisive and unsure about which font and size I wanted, so Jason kindly walked me through the process and gave me his professional opinions with many visuals (i.e. showing me the font samples in a booklet, on the computer, and printed out) . I was very grateful for his patience and suggestions. He said it would be ready to pick up within the next few days, and I also received a friendly phone call reminder from one of their female employees that it was ready and I could pick it up any time. The results were beautiful and I was pleased with the engraving! Very affordable.Support local, support TRP!

Who doesn't love Christmas?!? Al Qaeda, maybe. But I think that even they might like this place. It's full of ornaments and Christmas decorations. There is Christmas music playing in the background. And the staff are really nice. They even come up with themed decorations from time to time to coincide with whats going on around the city or on the plaza. It's no surprise that this place gets really crazy around the holidays. But, try it "off season", in the summer for a little Noel pick-me-up. If you're even thinking ahead a bit, you can get some awesome deals on decorations or gifts for the upcoming holiday season. Definitely worth a visit.

New year, New tea. Looked all over Albuquerque for a retailer that sold matcha green tea. The Fragrant Leaf brought me much than that. I was able to buy the matcha, the whisk, bamboo spoon and tradition matcha cup all at this one location. I was very impressed with everything about this place. The store is clean and very relaxing. If you want to escape for a cup of tea, I highly recommend this store. I look forward to having a warm cup of tea in the near future again. Thanks

"Love this shop!! Wonderful local made art and wonderful seamstress, Priscilla! This is a total Go To place."
"Driving from Miami Fl to San Francisco this is a must stop for me to get my hatch craving. This trip I said screw it and picked up a 25lb bag and yes it's riding with me all the way and then will fly back once I drop off this vehicle. I'm so excited Albert stayed late and waited for me to show up because I was hung up on I-40 for half a day. He's one cool cat to chat with too. U will not be disappointed here"
"Maaike Hurst's mission: to hire and support victims of domestic violence. Just women. Sorry, not sorry, she says. I'll get to the soaps and the rest in a minute, I just feel like I need to add something to the conversation. Hurst has been around the block, including a long stint in Washington state where she worked as a financial advisor. She'll tell you, if you ask, about some of the women she connected to, desperate to escape domestic abuse, but unable to speak or act due to threat of financial ruin. In this era of #MeToo, it's important to recognize that, for many women, probably the majority of the victimized, the risk of coming forward is far, far too real. The threat of poverty, particularly in the poorest state of the union, is literally life or death. So that's where she's hoping to make a difference, and her soaps and body products are the salve. As it happens, her products are terrific; she's all about softening, soothing, giving your body that buttah, baby. One or two drops of her body butter had my hands rejoicing all day. Delightful bath bombs. Terrific local art from, yeah, a pretty powerful woman. All in a space about the size of a big walk-in closet, hand-crafted and easy to warm up to, much like Maaike herself. The very first time I spoke with this woman I enjoyed her, and you'll enjoy spending a little more for better products that support a critical cause."
"A lot of the shops in Santa Fe feel like they are either (1) super expensive art galleries or (1) just packed with stuff. Sun Country Traders is different; there's plenty of space to move around and things aren't grotesquely overpriced. To me, this is the most interesting thing about this shop. The owners/workers seem to be very laid-back. No heavy sales pressure, and they seem just glad to chat a while! I was in here looking at some Navajo folk art carvings. The worker I spoke with was knowledgeable and unassuming, which I found very refreshing. I didn't end up buying anything, but if something had caught my eye, I definitely would've bought it here. I will be back."
"I ordered flowers as a housewarming gift for my friend who'd recently moved to Albuquerque. She ended up not being home when they went to her house, so the delivery lady called and texted her and then called and texted me to arrange another delivery time. She was super nice and accommodating - I really appreciated her willingness to go the extra mike. They ended up arranging with my friend to deliver them the following day and my friend loved them- said it was a beautiful arrangement. I'd definitely recommend doing business with this company, and will do so again if I ever get the opportunity!"
"As you can guess, this is all year round Christmas store! Very close to the Plaza, easy to stumble upon!We like to buy X-mas ornaments wherever we travel, so I was shopping for specific items! This store is big, it has everything you can imagine and more. From generic ornaments and generic brands to local inspired items, what I was looking for, ornaments with motifs specific to New Mexico.Nice customer service, huge selection!"
"Assorted gifts here. Not just pottery. Pottery and sock HQ, maybe. I like the thickness of the Fab socks. The blueQ socks wear at the ball of your foot easily, have 6-8 at home that have worn out quickly. The Fab sock cotton is thicker by the ball of the foot. Stocked up on socks for the rest of the trip. Would be nice get a discount for buying 10 or more pairs of socks in the future, owner said perhaps in the future."
"This store is a gem in our small town of Los Lunas. There are thoughtful gifts, fashionable clothes and pretty jewelry. The customer service has always been great!"
"I love this little gift shop! They have really great products, everything from kitchenware to soap to books to an amazing selection of scarves! Cute jewelry, really cute things for the house, and just a good vibe overall. They have some really great and affordable French vintage glassware too!"
"The Farm Shop at Los Poblanos, as someone recently described to me: Okay, I get it, enough with the lavender, already.Which is totally accurate, this place gets exceptionally geeky about lavender, but I'll admit, so do I, just a tad. Question, dear reader: How can one verify that he's officially metrosexual? He finds himself rubbing Los Poblanos lavender salve into his hair and scalp, daily. Just because he likes how it smells. Not that I would know anyone resembling this fictional gentleman.'Tis the holiday season and I'm coming to this shop to scavenge Instagramable gifts for my out-of-state peeps. You know the stuff I'm referring to: basically, housewares, kitchen nibs and gadgets, spices and lotions and random children's books that seem to fit the narrative of the life I'd like to lead, but cannot afford. This place features authentic real-deal balsamic vinegar (sorry, but the stuff in your cupboard, it ain't legit) that runs $44 for... I want to say, like one ounce. If I could afford it, I wouldn't rub it through my scalp, promise. Ask for a taste, it's incredible. Really, this shop is absolutely worthy of a long gander, you will find something unique and relatively affordable, and you'll gaze upon other things that you just can't pull the trigger on buying for yourself... that's what the holidays are for."
"I loved this charming gift shop, stuffed full (& I mean FULL) of cards, gifts, toys and unique treasures! Don't miss the cabinet of miniatures by the front door if you are a dollhouse or miniature fan; I also found some other miniature items around the store in a few places, like the tiny copper pots that I purchased, so keep your eyes open. Lots of fun books for kids and brands like Jellycat plushies. Staff were friendly and helpful, and can be easily identified by their aprons!"
"One of the best gift shops in Albuquerque! There's an extensive selection of items ranging from apparel, home goods & collectables to authentic items unique to the region. I was able to get a couple nice things for myself as well as a great gift for a friend back home who dog sat my furry companion. The store is pretty big and virtually every inch has something interesting to consider buying.I wish the online store featured more of the items actually sold in store because I'd probably buy a cactus for myself after seeing the one I bought my friend. The salesperson also gave us some tips on where to visit while we were in the area. She was really friendly and a great resource for us.If you only get a chance to visit one gift shop in the area I'd say this one is your best bet!"
"I'm glad that we stuck around Old Town ABQ a little longer. Aside from the main square area there are a lot of good finds if you just follow some slightly less beaten paths. Whimsy Tea is one of them; it takes some walking to get to their area but it's definitely well worth it. I was drawn in by the free tea tastings because I love free and I like tea. When I walked in, I assumed it would be like the tastings I've had where they do a spiel about it. I was happy to find out it was low pressure, they featured a green, black and herbal and you could taste on your own. I browsed the store a little before trying out the tea and it's definitely very femme-centric. I am obviously not of that gender but I appreciated the pop-culture mash ups, art references and local art stuff. I tried their tea-also named after various female characters and tropes and their Princess Pea green tea with wild strawberries was delicious! When I try teas with fruit flavors it's either super weak, if it's there at all or IN YOUR FACE with flavor injection. This tea was neither, it was balanced well with a sweetness that wasn't overpowering but you could actually taste the berries as well. I bought a tin of it and when I checked out was told they sell online and on Amazon, so even though I've tried to hold onto the tea as long as possible I know I can order more."
"Lovely locally owned shop. Dropped in because my sister loves their amazing tea blends. They also have their own essential oil blends in bath and aromatherapy products. I was happy to find an essential oil refill for my car diffuser- the Peace blend. It reminded me of a spa and I can't wait to use it! There are some really nice gift sets right now as well!"
"Wait a minute... I'm the first to review this place? For shame. Okay, breathe. No pressure.Over many, many years I've purchased a bevy of goods, usually gifts, from Patrician Design. I honestly think I shopped here far more frequently when the Flamenco Institute was around (queue the weepy violin music), since I often found myself just milling around Gold street, and I'd spot the shop and think to myself, "Oh, it's almost so-and-so's birthday" or "I haven't sent my sister anything for a while," and invariably I'd find a one-of-a-kind winner at Patrician Design. From unique stationary to hand-made greeting cards and vibrant decorations and knick knacks, there's always plenty of small stuff worth checking out around here at a reasonable price. But it's the bigger stuff that catches my eye and keeps me gazing. The local artist collection rotates somewhat frequently and it's always very impressive, especially colorful, the kind of work that leaps from the wall. I've seen fascinating furniture, some terrific jewelry (usually modern) and plenty of holiday-themed merchandise when 'tis the season. Oh, and I've never been put off by the employees, who take a somewhat distanced approach. Sure, they're happy to chat, but otherwise they'll leave you to peruse. If you haven't visited, or it's just been a while, it's worth another visit. This stretch of Gold street is great to mill around, these days."
"Wow what a cool place! More consignment than thrift but definitely beautiful items. Outside so cute, and person who helped me (owner?) was very nice. A great gift shop w some Los Alamos merch plus more. Great unique style."
"I stopped in on a whim and BOY was I delighted. The staff was just as friendly as they come. I had a lovely visit. I enjoyed learning about all their hand made turquoise and silver jewelry as well as the hand made pottery. They talked about some of the Native American events you can go see as well as other points of interest around town. Though I live here, they had plenty to share that I didn't know about.I was shown the antique jewelry that was on sale as well. I couldn't believe what beautiful pieces they had. I will certainly go there the next time I need a gift for the friend who has everything. I will also be taking everyone who comes through to visit. I loved their shelf of colorful brochures with all kinds of ideas for adventures, laid out in full color.Rio Grand Trading was a real treat, even for a local. I will be more than happy to support this establishment for years to come."
"A blue moon is an additional full moon that appears in a subdivision of a year: either the third of four full moons in a season, or a second full moon in a month of the common calendar. In case you happened to Google it yourself, yes, I just ripped that quote from Wikipedia. Because I didn't know what a blue moon was. And when I read it, I thought, Yeah, that's just about right. This boutique nookery is a four-leaf clover, a double rainbow after a downpour, a brief glimpse of a shooting star, a sweet surprise find during the everyday humdrum. I spotted it when I parked my car next to Limonata, and inquiring minds want to know, so I checked it out. Good stuff. Reclaimed and recycled housewares and decorations, local artist jewelry, cool clothes, a fitting room and a nice owner. Really fair prices. Good gifting for that once-in-a-blue-moon-occasion."
"So a friend of mine told me about this amazing store! I stopped in and was impressed with the creative styles of jewelry made out of aluminum! Beautiful and affordable. They had 4 tables with $6 earrings! Another table with $10 earrings. This makes spoiling yourself so easy! I'm sure I'll come back here for birthday presents. Zia pendant necklaces for $10. Ornaments, bracelets and so much more. Check them out! #newmexicotrue"
"I stopped in for their grand opening party on First Friday which was open to the public as part of Art Walk. Located a couple doors down from Zendo, you can pretty easily find street parking nearby. The space is super cute with tons of local favorites. These little boutiques have popped up all around town and they offer local art, beauty, home goods and other products. They even have a little area of things for kids. I personally bought a print and my friend bought one as well. Super excited to get it framed and add it to my wall."
"I think that most of Plaza Gifts was cheap plastic stuff, and there may be more but I moved on. The unique entry here was a shelf full of hot sauces. I took a picture but it was way blurrier than usual."
"Was looking for a cool souvenir to sport when I get back to SF... fail. The bookstore itself is huge but clothing sizes for women... nonexistent. They had UA and Nike items but most of them were all large and it was sad... I really liked their color: really bright red. For all you design geeks: think Pantone 485. They had some cool tshirts but they all had pink... (sigh...) Maybe next time they'll have size small and items that don't have pink in them... wishful thinking I know..."
"A delightful shop located in Cottonwood mall! There are lots of handmade goods by local artists. The items are high quality and well made. There is also nice home decor items, jewelry, candles, soaps, art and other artisan goods. The owner is delightful and she is supportive of local makers from the surrounding community. 100% recommended!!!!"
