"If you are in need of office furniture you need to come here. I was in here Thursday looking at furniture and I as m not going anywhere else. I am getting an office chair, for $200, won't tell you how much it goes for new, you just need to come here. Getting a desk and a credenza Also great price points. Will add pics once they are delivered.Make sure to ask for Jen, she is the office manager, I have known her since we met over 20 years ago in San Jose."
"Furniture City just recently (Nov 2019) opened a new location in Coronado Mall. I moved to Albuquerque a few months ago and I bought a dining table set from them. Kevin, the salesman that helped me was located in another store (3821 Menaul Blvd) but was transferred here and I followed him because I received a good deal and nice attention from him. This location closes at 9pm, the other one I've visited closes at 8pm."
"This store is so charming, run by a family of artists and carrying only locally made products this is a gift buying heaven. Most shops in the area are artsy but this place is art you can use. Cute printed pillows, aprons, jams, wooden hanging plant holders with macramé and so much more. Also consistently open and amazing customer service."
"I recently called home furniture because I was looking for a bunk bed for my sons room. The person that answered the phone was very helpful she even went as far as taking a picture of the bug but they had in stock and emailing me a photo. With Covid it's hard to do any shopping nowadays and she really made my transaction easy. We ended up buying the bunkbed that day. And they also offer free home delivery and set up! Of course it has to be local I am sorry. I definitely will be going back or calling back I should say if I should need any other furnishings."
"This is a magnificently curated shop with a range of items including gifts, fragrances, plants, furniture, home decor, jewelry, self care items and lots of delightfully curated vintage items. It is definitely worth a visit to find wonderful gifts for someone else or for yourself!"
"Great selection and great prices !! Never seen so many stools in one location. The owner was extremely helpful as well. Highly recommended"
"What do you think of when you walk into a furniture store? I equate it with trying to buy a car - attacked by salespeople, who follow you around until you either leave or buy. As for me more the former than the latter. While we were met at the door by a salesperson who introduced herself, she only asked us if we were doing ok 3 times in the hour we were there. That's a huge plus for me. This is a locally owned and operated store with the owners on site. Definitely a refreshing change. There is an over abundance of chains stores with limited inventory access here. Talking with Sal, one of the owners, I was told he has access to most if not all furniture manufacturers. If I found a piece somewhere else he would be able to get it for me. Prices weren't out of line either - comparable to, if not less expensive than other places. No furniture for us today, but we'll be back for a mattress within the next week."
"Paul is an artist. He comes with eccentricities. He is not doing ready-mades or production widgets. Accept all this, and order early to make both your lives easier. I order an outdoor swing and bench in the Fall, knowing I did not care if they didn't show until Spring. BUT Spring came, and they got here and are simply - BEAUTIFUL! I will post a photo of my swing - its the one with the Gecko. You can search the internet for a month and not find an equal."
"Finally made it to this amazing shop. Talavera prices are very good. Nice selection and super nice owners. If you live in Albuquerque definitely worth a drive out to this small business. After going to the high end well known nurseries in "the city" really like and highly recommend this location."
"Bright Future Futon Company is now known solely as Sachi Organics.-------If there is a place in the Albuquerque area to purchase your futon and futon accessories, bed frames, etc., Bright Future Futon Company is the place to go.Almost a year ago, my husband and I bought our futon here. Being futon aficionados, we continue to love it!The owner and staff are genuine futon experts. They only carry top-notch furniture, including synthetic futons for those who are allergic to cotton. Futons are not something you should purchase just anywhere, because most futons out there are flimsy, watered-down versions of the real thing, which won't hold their firmness for long or are made with inferior materials.Update:My husband and I recently went to Sachi Organics to have small throw pillows for our couch made. We had these pillows made with flax seed and they come with their own slip covers made of organic, non-bleached canvas. The proprietors, though busy, made these quickly and skillfully."
"My boyfriend and I wandered in late Saturday afternoon and instantly fell in love. Yes, the wood may be reclaimed and repurposed, but isn't an amazing feeling knowing that no one else will ever have that exact same piece? Even better, knowing that the piece you buy is hardwood and doesn't have a hint of particle or press board like everyone else? We bought a coffee table with a hinged top that doubles as a chest. It was made of reclaimed floorboards and is the perfect piece for our style. We can't wait to go back for more pieces. The staff was knowledgeable and really friendly. They waxed our piece before we left and shrinkwrapped it for the trip home to prevent scratches. The prices in the shop are great. Our coffee table was $250."
"Friendly staff and full of vintage items. Lots to see and great variety of unique items. Found mid-century to true antique style. Prices are very reasonable."

Bought some furniture pieces from ve location at Coronado Mall. We had to keep calling after a month for updates. All they could say is they didn't have control over how long it took to come when at times of purchase they said 2-3 weeks. Now almost a month an half they don't have control. If they have the furniture there in stock buy it. If not don't. Not worth the hassle. And you call and they are not even sympathetic they get upset your not patient when they are the ones under delivering. 3/10 update. Called for the fourth time. And was told they would ask a manager and even took my number a lady named Marcia. And it's the 15th and not a call or anything. 03/16 my husband rec a call to pick up the item finally. They sent to a different location where he didn't buy the piece but he went. Then when he got there that it wasn't there it was at the place he purchased it. He waited over 20 min to find that out. I can tell you from this experience DO NOT purchased with these people. Not only do they not keep to their promise but their customer service is horrible.

I have been a customer of Home Furniture & Carpet in Los Lunas since the early 2000's..When I first went there Marilyn Sanchez greeted me with open arms as if I were family...After that welcoming and loving visit, to this date all of my furniture came from there..My kitchen table and chairs, bar stools, two bedroom suites, mattresses, lamps..etc. To this day I have furnished my whole house Thanks to Marilyn and staff..There is nothing about that company I have a complaint about, I can't imagine anyone saying anything bad...Her Dad sold me my first piece of Furniture I call him Pops, it was my dining room table and chairs..the chairs are gone but the table is still holding strong..I don't have to go to Ashley Home furniture to get Ashley Furniture, all of mine was bought at Home Furniture & Carpet..I love the free delivery..Plus I donated my old living room suite to the catholic church, when they delivered my new living room furniture, they took the old furniture I donated to the Church..How many company's would do that..I love the staff at Home Furniture..Thanks everyone for making me the best part of Home Furniture as a forever customer..Joanne Bailey, Los Lunas

Literally the best place in town to buy barstools. We went to two different furniture stores to look for 3 simple barstools. They have a huge selection. They have barstools that range from $55-$150. We purchased 3 solid wood square bar stools. We are happy and know where to get bar stools or kitchen tables in the future.

Kelly Crafts makes some of the most beautiful furniture you will ever see. We purchased a table and chairs that we were able to customize right down to the carvings on the back of each chair. The end result was everything we could hope for. So, why the lower score? Sadly, we had to endure some of the worst customer service we'd ever experienced in order to get our beautiful dining room set. We dealt with the owner, Paul Kelly, directly throughout most of our relationship with the company. We were told verbally that our furniture would be ready in two-three months. We later learned that the actual invoice/contract was written for three-four months. Written so illegibly that we couldn't read it we learned this near the four month mark in spite of the fact that we called twice in the 2-3 month span of time. In fact, the invoice was so illegible that the company called US to ask us what the invoice said about the design of the table.Questions about when our furniture might be ready were met with accusations that we were being negative and hostile. Pressing for a specific date (after the four month mark had passed) was met by an accusation that we were making the owner shake with fear. We were hung up on three times by the owner himself. In each conversation we were pressing for a due date and nothing more.I'll be the first to say that by the time we were hung up on the third time I probably did come across as angry and upset. However, before that I was simply trying to get a firm commitment to a finish time. The owner would shout and talk over us repeatedly. We were also accused of being too picky about prices. We are retired and have a limited budget. We were quite happy to pay the cost that was quoted to us however we were pressured several times to make the table fancier than we could afford. Also, we received two calls making new suggestions (for thicker legs) where we again had to say we couldn't pay more. At the end the owner told us we were the worst nitpickers about price he had ever met. I shudder to think what the table would have cost if we had allowed him to be as loosey goosey about price as he was about actually finishing the project and committing to a deadline.Beware of delivery charges as well. We were told it would $35-40 for delivery. A three hour window was missed by over an hour. The owner arrived on his own and demanded that we help him carry it into the house. The owner knew he was delivering heavy furniture to two women. Fortunately I didn't drop the table as he and I brought it in. We were told that two delivery men would have cost $90+. This was not disclosed at the time we made the appt. Finally, the owner attempted to charge us almost $50 for the delivery. We refused on principle, something we might not have done if we had not endured so many difficulties with Mr. Kelly. To be honest, we will not be using this company again. In spite of the beautiful results, we were treated so poorly that we would not go through this again. If this sort of thing doesn't bother you then you might want to check them out.

"Best deals in Rio Rancho, his prices beat other major competitors. We did a few prices checks and his prices are way more reasonable. Plus I'm in the Neighborhood of Northern Meadows and North Hills. Support our community Business"
"3.6/5 starsJoy's Furniture Gallery is off White Mountain on Lockwood Drive. It's a bit hard to see from the main road so you have to be looking for it. The store has a large inventory of furniture and home furnishings. The quality is good and there is a good variety of items. It also has some Ashley furniture as well (somehow combined). We went in looking for a dining table that had to fit a certain space. We hadn't been able to find one at the other stores in town. Luckily, Joy's had two that fit the parameters. One was nicer wood but with a funky tile inlay in the center and the other not as nice wood. We decided we liked the one without the inlay but, unfortunately, they did not have another one. Ordering one would take a couple of weeks-but we will be leaving for California in 4 weeks and would not trust the timeline. We asked if they would sell it with two chairs since they would reorder anyway but company policy wouldn't allow that. We ended up not taking any and found one online. The gentleman helping us was very nice and helpful. I would definitely go back if I was looking for other furniture. I prefer to buy local but companies should be more flexible with policy. They lost business to the internet."
"I've purchased furniture on several occasions from this store. All of it is Ashley furniture. These days, you can expect to fork over thousands for a furniture set that has veneer on it but is more solid than say, Sauder at Walmart or any Big Lots furniture set. I'm happy with the furniture itself, though the store wasn't exactly honest about its construction. The store has a good financing card that is easy to get if you need help buying anything. I feel like the price I paid is fair considering other places I looked at the time. However, my boyfriend had a totally different experience than me. I just was looking to see if I should add the filing cabinet to my desk set. My boyfriend went in the store to see if he could buy it for me, and the manager asked him if there was anything he could help him find. My boyfriend, knowing what he wanted, told him he already knew what he was looking for. From what my boyfriend said, the manager was holding a conversation on his cell phone and mumbled something about some asshole customer that just walked in. Knowing it was him, my boyfriend got very offended and reported it to the next person up, and told me that these people were very apathetic about the issue. Even though I have bought my stuff here before, he will not shop at this store again because of the way he was treated."
"We got a chance to visit this brand-spanking new vintage store the weekend before they officially opened and will definitely be back. The selection of vendors is top-notch and they seem to specialize in mid-century modern. We took a few laps around and (of course) found a collection of small sculptures of nudes (male and female) without pricing. They are great about calling the owner of the stall and negotiated a smoking deal for six sculptures. They were great at wrapping/packaging them all and now they're proudly on display in my living room! Some unusual stuff, priced fairly, with friendly staff. We will definitely be back!"
"Norma Jean's store is fabulous with unique finds for your home. Not the cookie cutter type of furniture you see at most furniture stores, great accent shops that embrace the southwest/rustic genre. Awesome accent pieces, conversation pieces. I would come for the items, but I'd come back just for Norma Jean, she's a doll."
"I love this shop SO Much! The owner is the sweetest guy on earth. Give him love... he gives it back! Great deals. Beautiful collection! It's small but has some real gems and treasures!I try to visit several times a year"
"Visit Kevin at Furniture City! Everyone was helpful and our salesman Kevin was professional and happy to help us find the furniture we were looking for. We were in and out so quickly and efficiently thanks to Kevin. The selection and variety of furniture for every area of your home is enormous. Beautiful pieces for every decorative style. The down side (that is no fault of Furniture City) is that furniture orders are delayed weeks out however our chosen bedroom set has an ETA of 6-8 weeks. Not bad considering the issues shipping problems nowadays! We will definitely be visiting Furniture City again for future furniture needs. Kevin will always be our go to guy at Furniture City!"
"Fantastic Selection and truly wonderful customer service. These guys help you load your car & they have it down. Super selection ... Super Friendly!!!"
"We are very pleased with the beautiful, large, hardwood (wormy maple) dining room table and 12 matching chairs that were custom made for us! Working with them was easy and great!"
"If you want solid customer service, go elsewhere. Chris is excrement rude and doesn't value his customer unless it's a product over $3,000"
"I was out on a Girl's Day Out going through boutiques, antique and thrift stores. This is one of my friends favorite places to shop so we stopped in after lunch. The place is large with two sections-new that businesses consign to the store and a used consignment area. They have a ton of inventory that is in very condition and selected well. Look for dates on the new items that shows when they were bought into the store. If it's been a while, there could be a discount. It took over an hour to go through the store and didn't take that only took time inspecting a number of items. It was fun browsing. The only negative thing was that they don't discount the used items unless it is over $100. That limits what you feel is an appropriate price. I did find a nice plate with lemons decorating the front. I still would return to the Red Door Consignment."
"Awesome selection. The owner is super knowledgeable about all the things she has in the store and is a great resource of information. The prices are more than fair and if an item seems expensive, it's because it is a REALLY great piece. When you go, make sure to say hi to Jose, the shop cat."
"Furniture Cottage has a beautiful assortment of trendy and classic furniture and home decor. They have a nice selection of high end pieces which change out weekly because they sell out so quickly from their showroom. So if you go in and like something, you should just go ahead and purchase it now because it won't be around for long."
"I think we hit this on a down time mid December 2019. The selection was low, and I saw a lot of things I could find at Big Lots for less. I think its a spot you have to visit frequently to get best selection. When I was there all I could think was "the 90s called and they want their furniture back"."
"Great little store with a lot of inventory. Do yourself a favor if you want to save money!! Great prices excellent service and Staff. Ask for Jennifer"
"Ms Linda Lucero is an interior decorating genius! Not just her in-store staging, but the fact she saw a need for high end furniture consignment in Albuquerque. She offers 30day layaway and her prices are extremely competative on all popular brands like Moses, Horchow, Neiman Marcus (my mom coined them Needless Markup) and others. If you appreciate eclectic and out of the ordinary with superb pricing as well as home consultations you must come here for the best advise in town!"
"Looking for odd, eclectic or just different? Stop in here. After passing this place up for years and telling ourselves we need to stop, we finally did. It looks like a lot when driving by but the street view is only a small part. It has oversized vases, metal yard art, chimneas and wall hangings - then you go inside. It's stuffed floor to rafters in more decorative pieces, artwork, rugs and furniture. It seemed like every little nook & cranny was filled. The possibilities are limited only by your space and wallet. There was quite a bit of seasonal stuff on display to decorate your tree and interior for Christmas. Next trip will be truck & money. Last little bonus - prices were reasonable!"
"What a great locally owned and operated furniture store!! I wasn't pestered, I was given a GREAT deal...AND I got same day delivery. What more could I possibly ask for really? You can find some real gems in this store at rock bottom prices. I did a lot of comparison shopping over the last month and a half...these deals cannot be beat. The owner/operator (Brent) is so nice and helpful. He didn't bug me every time I sat down on a piece of furniture...and let me tell you...I sat on 65% of the furniture. Great experience and I will be returning."
"Since I was very young, Jackalope was always one of my mom's favorite places to stop when we passed through Santa Fe.Most recently my young daughters also enjoyed their first visit here (5/29/2023). The place has changed significantly since the last time I had been there. There is still free parking. Mostly friendly staff - however, I don't remember paying in different areas in the same building. Speaking of buildings, there are several... The newest is one for glass blowing where classes are also offered. That sounds neat.In other buildings are the following: rugs, gifts (art, clothing, jewelry, bags, etc.) and home decor, and furniture. There is also a garden nursery in front of the main buiding in addition to pottery, sculptures, and water fountains of all sizes. I've never been to the location in Albuquerque. The difference between the two locations is that Santa Fe has the Mercado merchants from all around the world - South America, South Asia, Thailand, Nepal, Mexico, and beyond. We bought items from both the Andean Village Arts and Martz Imports. The pricing is confusing at times. Some items aren't clearly marked or not at all. Other items I found to be a bit steep.I'll be back again as long as I can help it."
"The hunt for a specific piece of furniture brought us here. The difficulty shopping for furniture is you are comparing apples and oranges. So browsing is in order. The thing that made stop nice is we weren't dogged by sales people. We were able to shop unmolested. We found some things we weren't looking for to bring home."
"Easily my favorite furniture temple -- er, store -- in Albuquerque, you need to experience this place to really "get" it. A quick overview: furnishings and art sourced the world over, but generally imported from India, China and various smaller countries, like Nepal. Each piece is hand-picked by members of this eclectic New Mexican Sikh family, you're bound to strike up a conversation with someone while you shop. You'll also learn that some of the fine art and photography are the work of local artists, and another bonus: you're getting a history lesson. Typically, the tables, shelving units, altars, virtually everything in the store has been at some point repurposed, salvaged or conditioned for a new life in a new home. Some of these pieces are hundreds of years old.Okay, okay, so that all sounds good, but can you afford this stuff? Simple answer, yeah, it's affordable. And because it's a family business, they're always willing to work with you to transport your masterpiece from the showroom to your abode. One more hint: if you don't see exactly what you want in this store, they also house a sizable collection in a separate location, just a couple miles away. Ask for a tour, they can probably arrange one. Oh, and then there's this: Sat is always looking for new pizza. If you have any suggestions, he's all ears."
"Went twice to get an idea of the brand and was helped by both Jacob and Sophia. Both were excellent and were able to help me understand what all the brand makes as well as what would work best for me. Overall a great experience!"
"I needed a new table top on my beautiful Thomasville table. Unfortunately time had worn out the veneer finish. My contractor suggested Grado Creations. For a reasonable price and within my time frame, Jose was able to replace my table top with maple wood. He sanded and stained the wood to perfection. It matches my chairs and is now, again, a showpiece in my home. Thank you, Jose, for your diligence your perseverence. Sincerely, Liz Reyna"
