Mandy M. "Service! I get that we were between seatings, but it's nice to relay that information when specific seating is requested instead of the patron having to ask and then be condescended to. The guy behind the bar was also rude to the guy next to me when asked about the taps, and then, to top it all off, made a deliberate and rude comment upon leaving. As he zipped by he said 'happy holidays' and before I could take a beat, mumbled 'or not' under his breath. The bar has excellent offerings when the 'too cool for school' staff are inclined to provide service. We normally come twice a year when we are in town, but the kitsch is wearing off as the ambivalence rises. The 'guy' in question is an olive skinned brunette... manager? Sad. Two stars are for the selection of to-go booze and pastry cabinet averaged out with negative stars for the service."

John G. "What an amazing place for Italian bakery goods and other Italian products! We went to get some traditional Italian Christmas cookies and came away with great deals and tasty cookies and desserts! Walking in the deli smell was amazing! They sell sandwiches, Italian pastas and frozen items! Definitely a treat of a place! Service was really great and they were bringing fresh cookies out! Amazing!"

Jk J. "I got the half and half sandwich and salad with the Rustico sandwich and a garden salad and both were fresh and delicious. The staff was incredibly nice. The seated area was relaxed and quiet so I had space to work."

lori s. "This place is absolutely amazing. They have it ALL. They had all the teas you could imagine; Middle Eastern black, flavored, Earl Grey, the whole nine. There were all the fruit spreads, exotic nectars and sodas. They had nice cheeses, henna, incense. But the BEST was the restaurant. The last time I went it was a little counter. This time, they've expanded to the whole store next door. They have a whole menu of hummus, shawarma, falafel, Turkish coffee; all the things. I had a falafel and it was delicious. It came stuffed w/ hummus and a pickled vegetable.A family runs it and they couldn't be more friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed seeing the customers from all over the world. It was so much fun. I can't wait to go back."

Paul S. "Broad menu choices, excellent service, reasonable prices, comfortable ambience, easy access off two major streets, adequate parking mostly near the entrance, outdoor seating in season, clean restrooms, carryout available, fresh bagels and very good coffee. There's always hot homemade chicken soup. The kitchen does a top not job and is agreeable to variations on menu choices. I'm a spoiled, regular customer there but will recommend it without hesitation. It can be busy around noon and a brief wait may be in order but instant seating is the norm. I've gone there regularly for over five years because the food is always good and the service is always as good as you'll find in Santa Fe. If you like eggs Benedict, there are several variations and the deli sandwiches are larger than life. Good fish and chips, crab cakes and fresh made deli salads too. Excellent traditional French fries as a side for most orders. I've never had a bad experience there. The crowd can be friendly and is quite varied, everything from business suits to workout clothes, casual is just fine. In my opinion, it's our towns only real Deli."

Richard P. "This was our second time here in a week. The place was very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches were tasty for the most part. My wife, daughter and I all had the Italian #13 the first time and all agreed they were great for the price. The second time they both had the same sandwich but I opted to try something new. Unfortunately I tried one of the hot subs, the Beacon Ranch Chicken Cheese sub. I was most disappointed with the chicken meat. I had expected something close to sliced chicken breast but it seemed more like finely chopped all most minced so it was kinda gooey. Adding the ranch and melted cheese made it even more so. If you like gooey then you may love it. We'll definitely go back. Nothing wrong with the restaurant just my selection that day."

Jenny C. "I ordered the Shawarma Bowl and LOVED it. Not only is it tasty but also nourishing!! I'm confused as to why this one reviewer is complaining about how expensive it is when every vendor in Tin Can is at a similar price point if not more expensive? The "$4" comment is laughable. In this economy?? Anyways, back to how delicious my bowl was-- I love that it's healthy AND fairly priced IMO. I met the owner and he was very thoughtful and kind. I'm very grateful that I have access to a healthy local restaurant near my home!!"
