Jack O. "Why did it take me so long to try Chopstix?? I'm not sure, but I am sad about it because their food is so good! I had a combo plate with fried rice, sesame chicken, spicy chicken and spicy pork. All of it was good with good texture! I also tried the veggie eggrolls (awesome), the fried shrimp (pretty good), and the veggie tempura. As I was leaving, the owner (I assume) gave me some chicken dumplings to try as I had been on the fence about getting so much food but I gotta say, I'll be coming back just for those dumplings! So very good and packed with an awesome lemongrass flavor. I can't say enough good things. I'm so glad I've found my new to-go place!"

What a surprise to find such a tasty Chinese restaurant for this city slicker from Seattle. All ingredients were so fresh. Spring rolls were made to order. Vegetarian buns were perfection. Noodles were prepared just right though slightly salty for my taste. We even purchase take out for a ball game that night. Only thing To change is include more dipping sauce for the spring rolls and maybe add mint to the rolls for added flavor.Oh the staff were super friendly. We conversed in Mandarin and they were very understanding when my son broke a bowl."

Julie R. "I've driven by this place countless times. I will be honest, I never gave it any thought. The big plan yellow sign never really snagged my attention. Why did I stop this time? I had egg foo young on the mind, I stopped at the first place I saw. Risky business I know. I'm not opposed to dabbling in a bit of risk from time to time. There are a few things that caught my eye on my way in. Someone was walking to their car with a hefty bag of carryout. Once inside, a table of two was talking at table awaiting their food. Lastly, they place was very, very clean. Almost spotless! I could have stayed and ate my meal, but I ordered to go so I could stuff my face in the privacy of my home. I was quoted a 25 minute wait and what to do know, they delivered! The sweet lady working the cash register and taking carryout orders brought me mine in 21 minutes. With a short drive home, and how fresh my food was, everything was still piping hot once I was able to dig in. I ordered their chicken egg foo young but I will be honest, my only qualm with my whole experience was the lack of chicken in my egg foo young! LOL! Although, it didn't matter, the egg foo young was still delicious, filled with veggies, which I didn't mind at all. The gravy came separate in another container, so thoughtful, and a great portion. Some other place portion them already smothered in the gravy. My order came with 3 large egg foo young patties and a side of rice. $12 meal that could easily feed two. I was happy with my random choice to stop. I am curious about their version of other Chinese food staples."

The food was not great except for the pork fried rice was wonderful! We had the crab Rangoon and my hubby said it was fine but it tasted both fishy and tasteless to me. The General Tso I had needed salt and more spice-rather bland. The didn't have Diet Coke available for the hubs and he could only get it in a non-refillable bottle. Very strange. The kind staff and the pork fried rice are the only reason I went with 3 stars."

Julie R. "After running errands on a Saturday with my sister, we had worked up quite an appetite. We were pizza'd out, as that is something she has to get often for her picky two year old. We wanted to go somewhere close to her spot so we could get some carry out for her husband. Yummi House is right up the street, and we both had never been. When we walked in, we looked at each other and said, it smells good in here! LOL! Yeah, I know I said we were hungry, but that doesn't make it smell good! We browsed the paper to go menu nearby. They place is quant and cute. Also, very clean. Booths line up both sides of the dining room with table seating and chairs down the middle. Here's what we ordered: * Crab Angels (their name for crab rangoons) (4/5) * Eggs Rolls-veggie * Potstickers-chicken (5/5)* Oyster Beef (3.5/5)* House Special Fried Rice * Egg Foo Young-Pork (4/5) * Mapo Tofu (5/5)Everything was delicious and super fresh! My ratings above are on taste. Esthetically, everything looked amazing. I didn't have any of the egg rolls and house special fried rice, but I am sure they were good! I am bit of an egg foo young fanatic. I like to order it at any new Chinese place. Their egg foo young was made in way I had yet to experience. They served it with big egg only omelet on the bottom and the veggies and pork were stir fried with the gravy on top. First time I ever had it served that way, but it was delicious!Their Mapo was delightful, the tofu was soft but not too soft so it still kept its shape. The sauce was the perfect amount of spicy too. They Oyster Beef was beautifully served with a healthy amount of bok choy. They flavor was very light. I would have liked some heat or a lil more umami, but overall a good dish. We will be sure coming back to Yummi to try some other Chinese entree staples! I'll be looking forward to it."

The cook seemed to be taking a break at one of the tables when I arrived. The place was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop the next street over. A woman came in with a to-go order, which was a large box with many orders inside. She seemed to be a regular as they welcomed her with smiles and laughter. I ordered the House Fried Rice, and the dish was good. There was plenty to go around, it was a little heavy on the egg, which made me feel like I was eating a breakfast dish but I like eggs in my fried rice. The protein was enough as well, with the chicken, pork, and shrimp. The food came quickly, within 5-10 minutes, which can be surprising. But I was also the only one in the place, so that should be normal, right? Anyways, the checkout was quick, and I got my drink to-go, which I appreciate. If you're in the neighborhood for a quick bite to eat with friendly staff, check this place out. I'll be back eventually when I get that craving again."

Service was super friendly and quick with all our food fresh and hot with regular checkins by all of the staff. The spicy edamame was a great start with a couple fried rice entrees and a few rounds of pan fried bao buns, all to share. Everyone loved it! Food quality is top notch, portions are satisfyingly large, there's a very lengthy menu with enough variety to suit almost any taste. Kitchen does a terrific job and the food is almost too hot to eat as served. I live in Santa Fe and am happy to drive the 35+ miles for their food. The prices are quite reasonable too. Jennifer L. "*Update* For all the no-goods out there who trash this place because of a certain employee's behavior, let me say this: How would you like it if you had a disability and people treated you like the plague or refused to patronize your place just because of it? Should we stop giving our business to companies that employ people in wheelchairs? Or are legally blind? Or have ADD? The list goes on... Get over your shallow, uneducated, pathetic selves already. That said, on to the review.Panda Express is right across the parking lot, but why would you go there when you can pay about a dollar more at China Inn for better quality, more options, and personalized service? This is the best place to get Chinese in ABQ. The menu is diverse with Mandarin and Cantonese options. Service also can't be beat: I came in for the first time in September with my boyfriend and then came in again just this week with some other friends. Riley remembered me and my name and asked where my boyfriend was. Amy remembered me too. They also sent us home with extra rice to go with our leftovers.Although it sounds unappetizing, the Pu Pu platter is a fun appetizer to share with a group. It comes with egg rolls, Beef Cho Cho (beef kabobs), cha siu (Chinese pork), fried shrimp, chicken wings, chicken legs, and cream cheese won tons all on a hot plate. The friend sitting next to me and I enjoyed the cream cheese won tons best!I also liked my friend's Pineapple Almond Chicken and wish I had ordered that instead. Tangy and slightly sweet, with vegetables and pineapple. The pan-fried chow mein is also as solid as you can get here in ABQ. They use a different type of noodle than what is normally used to cook this style of chow mein, but I suspect is because there aren't any carriers that come out here to ABQ since the demand isn't very high. SO, DON'T EXPECT THE FOOD HERE TO BE THE SAME AS CHINESE FOOD AROUND THE COUNTRY, ESPECIALLY WITH HIGHER CHINESE POPULATIONS, DUE TO DIFFERENT SUPPLIER DEMANDS AND REGIONAL TASTES.It can be on the slow side if you dine in, but they take great care of you. Ming Dynasty is the best place in town to get dim sum. For everything else Chinese, come here!"

I had scoped it out once on Yelp, but never got around to trying it. What I remember seeing was that it was a bit pricey. About that... the plates here are around $15 average but they are huge. Enough to feed two people easily. They have some higher priced house specials, but I am 100% sure they are worth the price for both flavor and portion. The food here is probably the best Chinese food I have eaten in my 37 years on this earth. It's hard to even explain, but you know that they have their stuff together here and it is not the sauce covered/semi greasy food you get at other places. It is really unique and delicious. I almost didn't want to write this review because it was really calm and not full when we went. But that also made me write this review in that I would not want them to close because they didn't get the well deserved business they need. The service is awesome and the ambience is very calming. We loved our waitress. She was nice and even gave us extra egg drop soup to go for the kiddos. Try this place! You will not regret it. It is so tender and filled with juicy vegetables in the sauce is amazing. It comes with white rice. My husband gets the Kung pow chicken with the pork fried rice, and it lasts for days! The only downside is it's pretty pricey. It was about $15.50 for my mushroom chicken or any other entrée I believe the combos may be a little cheaper. But compared to all the food that you are getting it's worth it. I would recommend calling in before ordering and they usually make it pretty fast. Also check out the almond cookies they have.
