"this is my new favorite chinese spot. everything was so amazing i don't know where to even begin. the menu is pretty big, which is nice. they have duck on the menu which i don't eat but i know they don't have in a lot of places. i had the hot and sour soup, pork ribs (not the salted ones), onion pancake, eggrolls and crab rangoon. my partner had the pork belly and he was pretty crazy about it. none of it was too greasy and the flavor....how do i even describe it? it was this really nice blend of spices. i can't really put my finger on why it was so delicious but it was. it was kind of an east coast chinese dining experience. and of course the service was impeccable. i'm certainly going to be going back and will be working my way through everything i usually eat on the menu. i also noticed there are many regular customers who seem to have been coming for years. it's the best chinese food i've had in many years and definitely the best i've had in albuquerque."
"Really amazing food here cannot wait to try more things on the menu. I had the Kung pao mix and my friend had the wonton soup. The wonton soup had shrimp and every vegetable. You can imagine a delightful broth. My Kung pow was extremely tasty not spicy enough, but that's my fault cause I was nervous and ordered medium quick service extremely busy dining area, but seemed like it was flowing well."
"A hidden little gem in the heights with the best bao buns you'll find! We found Noodle Works looking for a place that served specifically bao bind. Noodle Works is a cute little restaurant tucked into a strip mall. It's unassuming but to my surprise, one of the best dining experiences we've had. The menu was varied so we tried several dishes. Service was super friendly and quick with all our food fresh and hot with regular checkins by all of the staff. The spicy edamame was a great start with a couple fried rice entrees and a few rounds of pan fried bao buns, all to share. Everyone loved it! So, even though it's basically on the other side of town from where I live, I get back there every so often because there's not a better place I've found."
"This is a great spot to grab a delicious lunch or dinner combination plate. Servings are generous, prices are great, and the owner is charming. Wonderful attentive staff. Lots of parking. Takeout and delivery is a breeze."
"This place was suggested by a coworker and was glad it was suggested. I tried the sweet and sour and it was crunchy and full of flavor. I will try it again."
"Food was made fresh to order and was really good. We had the sweet and sour chicken, beef lo mein, and egg drop soup. Everything was good. Staff were really friendly and patient while we decided what to get. This order was to go but the ambiance was chill. Nice open space and can accommodate a large groups of people. I'm traveling through but this place was a gem for dinner eats. Definitely a must if you're in the area and never mind some of the three stars it's gotten in the past this place is good."
"Food: Just a host of delicious choices of proteins, vegetables, sauces, and noodles to build your own dish. Fresh ingredients are what's up.Service: Walk-up and order. Anthony himself will probably take your order. Let him guide you. For sauces, I mixed the coconut and Mongolian. Oh my!! Savory and sweet with a wee kick. Nice!Ambiance: Don't come here looking for anything special in terms of ambiance. This leans more in the direction of dive. Clean, but definitely spartan. The kitchen, which is clearly visible not hidden, appears larger than the dining area!Lots of locals coming in and greeting Anthony by name. Vibes of home away from home. Eat here."
"We recently tried takeout from this spot and overall had a mixed experience. I ordered the beef fried rice and it was delicious! I added a bit of garlic at home to kick up the flavor even more, and it hit the spot perfectly. We chose takeout because the delivery fee was super cheap, and we couldn't make it out with the kids' bedtime creeping up. The food took a little longer to arrive than we hoped, but it was still warm and ready to eat.My husband went for the shrimp tempura but was a little bummed to find it had a bunch of veggies mixed in. For the price, we were expecting a more generous portion of shrimp.Despite this, we'll definitely give this place another try--perhaps dining in next time to get the full experience. Overall, a good option for quick takeout, especially for those nights when getting out isn't easy."
"Really enjoyed everything! Two kinds of lo mein - fork and chicken/vegetables, sweet and sour chicken, chicken and vegetables, fried and steamed dumplings, pork fried rice, and egg drop soup! Great taste in everything! Zero complaints! Highly recommend!"
"I tried this place for the first time recently while visiting my folks from out of state. They said Zeng's was relatively new to the area and had gotten rave reviews so we gave it a shot. First off, to be fair, I will say that my parents really liked the entire experience, from the ambience to the food. They even got a kick out of the little robot server strolling around with food and drinks to the various tables. Speaking of which, all the tables were full, and there were plenty of people sitting on the outside patio as well so they must be doing something right.Unfortunately I just didn't care for the food. I tried the Mongolian Beef, fried wantons and Lo Mein. I found there was just way to much oil used on almost all the food. MSG? Chili sauce? Honestly I am not sure what it was, except that it made it almost unpalatable to me. I eat a lot of Chinese food, so it's not that I am picky, but there are a few places I can't go back to because they use too much of a (as-yet unidentified by me) ingredient which gives me a hard stomach ache. This place has now hit that sad list of Chinese food joints I just won't go back to."

The food here was DELICIOUS! The ingredients were fresh. It took kinda long to get our food, but the taste and quality made up for it. We ordered the pork wonton soup, potstickers and pork fried rice. Everything was great! Definitely recommend!

I've finally found my favorite Chinese restaurant! I went with a friend today and ordered the mini shrimp dumplings, ma po tofu (extra spicy), salt and pepper short ribs and beef stew in clay pot. Everything was so good and flavorful! The mini shrimp dumplings were soft, tender and tasty. The ma po tofu had little bits of pork in it and was full of umami flavor and soft tofu. It's the best I've had so far in NM. Salt and pepper short ribs were super tender inside with a light and crispy exterior and perfectly seasoned. There was no prim and proper way to eat them, so we just dug in. The beef stew in clay pot was impressive! It came sizzling to our table and the aroma!!! So flavorful with tender beef, Napa cabbage and clear glass noodles on the bottom. So very good! We had just missed the lunch rush. The service was polite and efficient. Our server seemed to be happy to see us enjoying our food so much. Very nice guy. We were so happy to be seated at a comfortable booth. So many restaurants seem too modern and almost sterile. This place has a warm and comfortable feel. This is a place we'll go out of our way to visit again. I can't wait to take my husband next time!

Always great food. Consistent and authentic. It's in a small strip mall area, so seating is limited. Portions are large. Plan to take some food home! General tso and egg rolls are delicious.

HOLY SMOKES was Lulu's delicious. I had the pork fried rice and even though it's my favorite menu item, nobody makes it the way I like it. But THIS!! this was perfect. It was fresh, the right amount of salt, the egg was just right and they used a hint of onion. I know you can't really judge a whole restaurant on one menu item but it's got me going back. The place is usually pretty empty but they do a kickin take out business. Their menu says they also deliver. The prices are also very reasonable......and the service can't be beat.

Not to over exaggerate but this is literally the best Chinese food husband and I have ever had. Hot and sour soup was great, pot stickers were perfect. We got steamed rice with sesame chicken and sweet and sour. The flavor was phenomenal.

"Chen's is a humble little Chinese joint. The front door can be a little heavy so be sure to bust out your guns (arms, get it?) to get open. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles you might see at other Asian eateries, but what it does have it great Egg Foo Young! The Egg Foo Young is my favorite here. I like it with veggies or any of the protein options too! Pork is my go to, but they are all good. I like the portion they give and their gravy is delicious too. I have been meaning to order something else.... I just have a hard time straying because it is so, good!"
"You get a long of bang for your buck here. The family dinner is really good. Lots of choices for your entree and 3 soup choices. Nice variety of appetizers included. I usually walk in to place my order. Their service is super fast."
"Perfect American Chinese cuisine. All your favorites are here and as saucy as ever! Can't go wrong with the fried rice, shredded pork, any dish which includes beancurd and anything mentioning 'crispy' in its name!"
"I'm thankful that Hanmi is a short walk from my home!! Their lunch specials are AMAZING....many options; huge portions; tasty hot and sour soup; friendly, efficient servers; and a relaxed, mellow vibe....Hanmi is a great place to get a good meal and to relax with friends. Thanks for sharing your lovingly prepared food in my 'hood, Hanmi!!"
"You know why American is great? Because immigrants can come here, work their asses off and try to enter middle class. The American dream is alive at Dragon Wok. Sure the place is messy and orders get mixed up or are late. But man, the food is amazing. Old school American style Chinese. Love the Egg foo Young. Fresh and tasty. To the reviewers hating on the young boy who is helping his family at the front counter. Kindly kick rocks. I'm willing to bet somewhere in your family tree, someone came to this country and figured out quickly working for someone else is for suckers. They brought the food of China, Indian,Poland, Italy to this country and busted their backs so your entitled ass could bitch about this sweet, shy hard working little boy. Shame on you."
"Third time is a charm. It was 2 o'clock-ish and the first two places we went to were closed...on a Saturday! We spotted this place with a neon OPEN sign and decided to give it a try. So happy the other two joints were closed. It's so pretty inside. Very beautiful and calm atmosphere. Our waiter seated us and was attentive. I ordered one of the lunch specials featuring chicken mushrooms, red bell pepper in a sweet/sour sauce. It was not overly sweet, which was perfect for me. The chicken was succulent and the veggies were still crisp. So good. We also ordered the sesame beef, which came with a jar of pepper sauce. We loved that! This way I didn't have to miss out, because the dish was too spicy. We could add the heat ourselves. Wish more places had that option. Anyway, the sesame beef was crispy and flavorful. Though we were among the last customers for the lunch seating, we were never rushed. So nice.We will have to come back during dinner service and explore more of the menu."
"Went to Jade Chinese. We had been there many times in years past for take out, but it had been years. So we decided tonight to stop in and have dinner. The food was amazing as always. We got the vegetable fried rice, vegetable egg foo young, sweet and sour shrimp, egg rolls and egg drop soup with won ton soup. Service was amazing and the food came out hot and fast. I work close so this is definetly going to be a restaurant we will be one we frequent from now on."
"The soups and Chinese food here are excellent! Service is fast. The food is always hot. All the noodle dishes are authentic and filling. I probably will not even try any other places in the area because this place is just that good!"
"It was my first time in China Luck. It's currently 3 p.m., and I'm the only patron here. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The cook seemed to be taking a break at one of the tables when I arrived. The place was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop the next street over. A woman came in with a to-go order, which was a large box with many orders inside. She seemed to be a regular as they welcomed her with smiles and laughter. I ordered the House Fried Rice, and the dish was good. There was plenty to go around, it was a little heavy on the egg, which made me feel like I was eating a breakfast dish but I like eggs in my fried rice. The protein was enough as well, with the chicken, pork, and shrimp. The food came quickly, within 5-10 minutes, which can be surprising. But I was also the only one in the place, so that should be normal, right? Anyways, the checkout was quick, and I got my drink to-go, which I appreciate. If you're in the neighborhood for a quick bite to eat with friendly staff, check this place out. I'll be back eventually when I get that craving again."
"So friendly, quick service. Dealt with a very large group of us and coordinated 6 different menu options. Food was good, I had the vegetables in a white rice sauce."
"THE BEST hot and sour soup... period!Living around the area for years Best Lee's has always been an easy choice. The mark of a staple is when half the tables are regular customers. The staff is wonderful and the service is quick. The portions are huge, especially for the price. It's not fancy, just yummy Chinese food... and don't forget the hot and sour soup!"
"A great place for good take out Chinese food. All the food is great. The family owned people are very nice and even remember us when we are gone for a long time. I absolutely love the fast service, and the Almond Cookies."
"Came here for a quick lunch. This is a what you see is what you get kind of place. Ordering is pretty straight forward. Its prepared quickly if you on a quick break. Their is nothing special to mention about the food. Like I said you know what your getting if you've had Chinese take out before. The price is reasonable and the portions represent that. The food was hot and made to order. Really no complaints."
"Really good chinese & chinese american dishes.Lots of the classics you'd expect and some more 'authentic' dishes under the chefs special. The Mala chicken and string beans are extremely flavorful and done perfectly as is the fried rice and low mein.If you know about the 3.5 star rule for chinese restaurants in the US, this is exactly in the Goldilocks zone."
"Found a great ramen place today! I had the egg rolls and the spicy beef ramen, asked for extra spicy. It was so good! The egg rolls were perfectly crispy and filled with pork and veggies inside. It was well seasoned and I didn't really need the dipping sauce. The ramen broth was rich, flavorful and spicy, just as I requested. I thought for sure the beef would be tough, but it was fall apart tender. The noodles were soft, but still had great texture. The icing on the cake was the service. My server was the daughter in law of the owners, who came out to have their lunch before they started the lunch rush. She was friendly and told me about the restaurant, how some of the dishes were prepared and her family. It felt more like I was eating lunch at a good friend's house. I'm looking forward to going back and trying their other dishes. So glad I stopped in!"
"Welcome to the new dragon place is not very sanitary, but is indeed it is very delicious and very tasteful. I always love coming by here to taste something. New prices are very fair and they are very fast. They take care of me every time I come by so I do recommend coming down and trying it."
"Best traditional Chinese food in AbqSuper good! Family friendly. Family owned restaurant. Hidden Gem!The Orange Chicken was outstanding. Mongolian Beef Awesome. Wonton soup awesome! Real egg rolls! Thank you"
"My family eats oriental food twice a yearAnd i don't know why after our first take-out meal at Double Dragon.....definitely need to "double" a few more times per year.Extensive menu so the next order should be interesting Enjoyed the usual sweet and sour chicken and pork with fried rice this timeGoing for a different variety next visit"
"Let me just start by saying: yummmy!I can't believe that I've never tried this place and/or that something this delicious is just down the road. I had scoped it out once on Yelp, but never got around to trying it. What I remember seeing was that it was a bit pricey. About that... the plates here are around $15 average but they are huge. Enough to feed two people easily. They have some higher priced house specials, but I am 100% sure they are worth the price for both flavor and portion. The food here is probably the best Chinese food I have eaten in my 37 years on this earth. It's hard to even explain, but you know that they have their stuff together here and it is not the sauce covered/semi greasy food you get at other places. It is really unique and delicious. I almost didn't want to write this review because it was really calm and not full when we went. But that also made me write this review in that I would not want them to close because they didn't get the well deserved business they need. The service is awesome and the ambience is very calming. We loved our waitress. She was nice and even gave us extra egg drop soup to go for the kiddos. Try this place! You will not regret it. I'd travel across the city for it if it were not a few miles from my house. It is THAT good."
"My friend and I went here with no huge expectations even though this particular restaurant had great reviews and high star ratings. The restaurant is very clean and has an opening and welcoming presence. We were greeted and met by a kind woman who gave us menus and told us to pick a table. We ordered dumplings of course, I had the bibimbap and my friend had the Chinese burger. Dumplings were delicious, pan fried is the way to go, boiled dumplings are not my cup of tea. The bibimbap was okay, I'm more used to the sizzling clay pot where the burnt rice on the bottom is the best part. However, her version was a clean and still yummy. On top of the rice was traditional namuls(sea weed, bean sprouts, pickled cucumbers), fried egg on top, and I added bulgogi(Korean bbq meat). The only ingredient missing which threw me for a loop was kimchi(pickled cabbage), that's a staple for Korean food. Alas, bibimbap was tasty but could be better. The Chinese burger is a good concept and was enjoyable. While waiting, I had a very nice conversation with the owner/server. She asked me if I am Korean, to which I answered yes and we automatically shared stories of our brief history. That is something I love to do and how I can connect to other Koreans. After learning brief history of her story, I understand why she has a Korean & Chinese fusion-y NM restaurant. The vibe of this place is more of a friendly, quick bite, and chill scene. I don't need expensive china plates or metal utensils to have a great experience at a restaurant. Great company, good food, and nice waitstaff/owners make a great restaurant. Also they have good Boba tea and they prepare the boba quite nicely too. Some places burn boba or don't cook enough so you get hard boba. They have a wide selection of flavors too. Whenever I get back to Santa Fe, I will be coming back for some delicious dumplings and awesome conversation."
"Nice cozy little Chinese restaurant, everything on the menu is delicious. The family love the Mongolian beef #D13. My favorite is the egg flower soup and green tea. The staff are friendly and tons of people come here."
"I don't know how many times we've passed by this place, but we finally decided to give it a try. We went in with low expectations, not thinking it'd be much based on the exterior experience. Maybe because our expectations were low, they exceeded them easily. It really is such a good deal for the price. I would be mindful of the entrees you get, because some of them can blend together and be too saucy, but if you balance some of the "wet" entrees with the drier ones, I think it's a real hit. It obviously isn't authentic Chinese by any means, but it satisfies the Chinese take-out craving with no issues."
"I called in a to go order for this place (which I think is fairly new) in a never-ending quest to find Chinese food my husband likes. We've tried over a dozen joints and even though I like them, he pushes them away. So all of my fingers and toes were crossed for this time. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, pad Thai w chicken and crab rangoons. Probably not the most authentic order, but I can never turn up a good pad Thai. When I showed up, there appeared to be only one gentleman cooking, serving, and running the joint. I only waited a few minutes before he came up with our entire order, piping hot. The dining area appeared to be clean and in good repair, but that's all I can speak to about the atmosphere. Now on to the food. The crab Rangoons had pieces of crab and green onion in the filling and were crispy and light. I finished the entire order on the way home. No dipping sauce needed. In addition, my husband raved about the light breading on the sweet and sour and said everything was fresh and well cooked. I couldn't finish more than a few bites of my pad Thai but if had a tangy heat to it that I loved. Everything was just as it should be, and a great value for the price. We will be back, and wish you much luck!"
