"I went to preschool here it was an amazing experience my teacher was Ms Paula she was very sweet"
"La Petite is such a wonderful facility. The price is cheaper than some of the other options out there but the quality is not impacted by this. The teachers are all very welcoming and attentive. I am always greeted by all of them; even though they are not my child's teacher. They have recently implemented an App so that you can monitor your child's progress and activities throughout the day. Its great to stay in touch and see what your child is working on. The Director has put in place a few other activities that I enjoy. My favorite one is they have the kids brush their teeth after breakfast. My child comes home every day and shows me how pretty and clean his teeth are. It has encouraged him to be more independent at home too. I would recommend this facility to anyone."
"Great school! Christ centered. Amazing teachers! Our daughter has been going since she was a baby and our family has been so happy with all that she is learning at this school!"
"We went for a tour a few weeks ago. It was very clean but felt institutional. Neither the tour guide nor the teacher we spoke with could clearly articulate the teaching approach used there."
"I absolutely adore this daycare and everyone I've met that they've seen fit to hire. In an Ideal world, I could stay home all day just hanging out with my children, playing with them and teaching them as I see fit. But alas, I must work or they don't eat. I had to go back to work shortly after my youngest was born and I looked high and wide throughout the Albuquerque Realm to find somewhere that could keep my kid alive while I was off being a breadwinner. The first several I attempted, I found myself legitimately concerned for his safety on a daily basis while I was away. He has been at Bright Minds for almost a year now, and I have never had a problem. Plus they play outside everyday, have swim days, and do awesome little art projects with all the kids (yes, even the infants). Those baby art projects are no joke either. It takes a lot of skill and patience to pull off one of those masterpieces. I tried it once and my kid just wouldn't cooperate with my vision... ended up being just a big huge blob of paint on paper. Yet, by some means, my son accomplishes rose garden feet paintings, tiny tie-dye outfits, mothers day tote bag projects... and once (my personal favorite), a "butt bug" painting. Yup, that's right, they covered my baby boy's tush in bright red paint, and miraculously pressed it perfectly and squirm free onto a sheet of paper. They spotted it, then drew on some antennae... and as a result there will forever be a lady bug on my fridge that I can embarrass him with for the rest of his life. Marry Lynn, Shelly, Ms Karen and Mrs Hannah... all of them... just wonderful, caring, trustworthy people, that my kid is always super excited to see. The thing in life most worth paying for is a safe place to leave your children when you can't be with them. Not only do I have complete faith that he is always in good hands, but I know he is happy, having fun, and learning. Who could ask for more?"
"La Petite on New Vistas is awesome! I'd just moved to the area from the Midwest and had no family here so I was very weary of where I wilould drop off my daughter once I started back working, then I stumbled upon this place. They made me feel totally comfortable with me leaving my little one in their care. I started my daughter out there when she was 5 months and she's now 13 months. I love all the developmental skills they practice with the little ones and I LOVE the open door policy. I'd recommend anyone to bring their child here."
"I could not love this school more! I'm so happy I enrolled my kids in this center. not only are the teachers amazing, they're getting my kids ready for their next steps."
"I have an 19 month old daughter who attends Blue Bird full time. I am a teacher and they have been very understanding and flexible with my schedule as long as I let them know when I'm going to be off work. It's been a great experience for our daughter. She is learning everyday and is quite talkative, I'm also thankful that she's exposed to art activities daily."
"We transfered from La Petite to Kinder care at the beginning of the school year. I am completely satisfied with the amount of attention and learning my kids have recieved at this center. The Kinder buss picks up my 1st grader from school for me since i get off work late. He has also participates in a cooking class on Wednesdays. He gets one on one attention and it really helps build up his confidence. My pre-k boy will start the phonics class to help him prepare for kindergarten. Every day they help my 1st grader complete his home work before i pick him up at 6. I highly reccommend this School it is way better than La petite, the staff is nice and consistent. If you are looking for a place that really cares about there kids this is the place.. Thank you all for all your dedication"
"I have been taking my son here since he was four months old and he really enjoys it. He is now almost 2. The staff here is really amazing and they truly care about the children. It took me a long time to build trust because I was a first time mom and didn't know them well at all. Now I don't think twice about having him there. I really can't say enough good about them. They are bilingual. I love the fact that my son understands so much Spanish already. It is a skill that will stay with him forever."
"Love this center. My children have been attending for 18 months now and I have no complaints. The director as well as his teachers are amazing at their jobs. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for reliable and nurturing childcare."
"This establishment is extremely closed minded and transphobic. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. A complete waste of money, time, resources, and emotional/mental energy. Your child is not safe here. The staff is not properly trained due to higher ups prioritizing money over their students and staff. Linda is by far the worst school higher up i have ever encountered in a school system. She doesn't investigate crucial issues in her facility. She does not have anyones interest but her own in mind. She refused to have anyone answer why my daughter was refused access to their facility even though they are staffed and she has a contract with the state. A "I dont know." Is unacceptable for their line of work. Linda much rather punish you, your child, and her staff for her own incompetence. Please reconsider enrolling your child else where before here. Sincerely, a very concerned parent."

I highly recommend this daycare to any fellow parent. Trying to find a daycare isn't easy, it's stressful and can be very worrisome. I am very impressed with Bright Minds. The teachers and staff are absolutely amazing and wonderful. The kids to teacher ratio is perfect. Dropping my kiddo off wasn't a struggle because he was excited to go every day and coming home he was always happy which gave me assurance that I made the right choice enrolling my son there. It's secure which I definitely like, you could call anytime of day to check in and see how your kiddo is doing and someone is always there to answer the phone. I will definitely be bringing my kids back to daycare here. Everything about Bright Minds gives me the piece of mind that my baby boy is in good hands!!!

Our family has been with this center for several years (several children). Management, especially the assistant director(s) and team leads have been super helpful, understanding and they take the time to get to know families, and essentially become an extension of each family associated with the daycare center. The teachers are wonderful, and they are care for the children as if they are their own. They are very patient, diligent with cleanliness, and safety. They are very good as far as communicating with parents how their children's day has gone, what they've done and learned. And if there is any type of issue, they work closely with the parents to help try and rectify whatever is going on, so that all may be able to flourish and continue to learn and be happy.

Heartless and will not give a partial refund when they ask your child to leave their program. Beware their initial charm.

"Not a great place for infants. The ratio is to high at 1-7. Babies don't get the attention needed."
"We currently have 2 children at Little Sunbeams and have enjoyed it. We have been there for a little over 3 years. There have been some changes since we have started, however, the previous director had let some things slide and we have really been happy with the changes in staffing that have been made. In addition, several business type changes were made for the better. Although transition is always hard these changes, we believe, were very necessary and the right direction to head. Our children enjoy going to school and seeing their friends each day. The classrooms are engaging and strive to educate at the age appropriate levels. The infant room is set up well for those that are beginning to walk to ensure that the little ones don't get injured and the pre-walkers are able to test their skills with a lot of space and safety. The room is divided so children can have their own space as they need it. We are looking forward to another one of our little ones starting in early 2015 to this calm room. The new infant room lead teacher is very calm with the children and ensures she makes time to engage and play with each infant in an age appropriate manner. One of our little ones is in the toddler room and thriving. This can often be a tough age group and the teachers in this room have such a great system and great control over the room that it has been awesome. The teachers in this room are not afraid of getting dirty and provide really fun activities for the children that allow them to really explore and learn while having a lot of fun! When our other child was in this room it was not as in control and we have been very pleased with the change. We are looking forward to moving to the next room in the next few weeks and have seen a lot of fun activities happen in this next room as well. The 2 older rooms really are focusing on preparing the kids for kindergarten. The 3-4 room, which our other child is in, emphasizes learning numbers, letters and shapes while having a lot of fun. Working with sand and other mediums the children are able to have fun while also learning how to write their letters and numbers. They work on listening skills and independence as well in this room. The pre - K room has an amazing curriculum for getting the students ready to embark on their next journey to regular school. The teacher, Ms Mickey, often has her students reading before they leave the daycare! We also have enjoyed all of the extra activities that the director has brought to the facility. Ms Renee has continued the Kids Love to Dance program and brought Tumblebus to the school. It is so nice for the kids to have the option to be a part of these programs and do something a little different on these days. I like it for the fact that scheduling is easy! I don't have to worry about how packed the nights and weekends get for activities because they can participate right at school. Ms Renee also has Ms Joy come in once a week for a different perspective. She comes and reads and sings to the children, which mine really enjoy. She also ensures the students are able to put on a Thanksgiving program and brings in Santa during the holidays! We hold spring flings and other little parties to allow parents and children to meet and mingle ensuring a family atmosphere. We are very happy at Little Sunbeams and know the teachers love our children just as much as we do. They are preparing them to be independent, educated and strong individuals that are ready for anything!"
"The best. While traveling for work, we dropped our toddler son off for 2 days of drop-off care in their 3a program. We are so impressed with their care, cleanliness, menu, curriculum, and space (including outdoors). We highly recommend I hope to go back We miss the teachers, students and staff already"
"They are wonderful to our children who attend and have helped them acquire both social skills and academic skills. The director is wonderful and caring and hires teachers with similar attitudes. My only negative is that sometimes the teachers are passive aggressive with the parents when it comes to communicating how the kids were for the day or any needs they may have. This may be from being burned out or perhaps personal things interfering. Who knows as it isn't a constant by any means, but is the only reason I do not give 5 stars. That being said, I would recommend all of my friends to send their children here if they are looking for a caring, affordable, joyful place for daycare. I do wish they offered part-time options also. As far as previous reviews of abuse, I have never witnessed any behavior like that at all and we have been with them since 2014. We never heard of any investigations, have spoken with several teachers there (past and present) and the kids have all been regulars that I have seen for the past three years. The place is clean and well-maintained. Some of the play equipment could use updating but I have not witnessed any hazards that warrant this place unsafe. I have asked my children about teachers and the director (if they yell or hit kids) and was told no by both. They LOVE the director and their teachers so much. I'm baffled by the previous review."
"My daughter has attended for years. Placitas MDO is a truly wonderful childcare option, with the kind of community connections that parents dream of. The cost is remarkably low, too. Don't miss out."
"We love our son's teachers, Ms. Caroline, Ms. Denise, Ms. Maddi, Ms. Angela, and Ms. Cassii. They are exceptional teachers who really care for the kids. Ms. Angela always greets our son with a huge smile and so much love. Ms. Caroline is always professional, kind, and so communicative about everything going on. She and Ms. Denise work on social emotional skills which helps our son so much!!! Thank you for everything you do. We know he is in the best care at TLE!"
"Terrific for young childhood development. We were looking for a daycare that had some lose but present structure with a methodical approach when we found Serendipity. I was very pleased with the way Paul presented us with a detailed play by play log of our 3 yr old's first couple days. We knew who she played with, what she did, whether she had any episodes of stress or joy, and had a lot of confidence that she was integrating nicely. Sumi and Paul also performed a home visit, and there are parent events at the school so we could see first hand how delighted and close the rapport was with our kid. At mid-point and the end of the year they also provide feedback and assess the basic developmental indicators such as shape recognition, letters, puzzles, as well as social indicators such as imaginative play with others and expressing herself to her peers. The teachers are very good at welcoming the kids when they come in so they have smooth departure. When I return at 5 they are always involved and engaged in creative and constructive activities such as puzzles, blocks, role play or even preposition bingo. I feel that my child has undergone a graceful and significant transition from wildebeest to someone who is well on track toward being prepared for the kindergarten environment."
"Our family loves this school. Our sons have been going to Covenant since they were both babies. Both boys love going to school and always have fun while there. We have never had a concern over their safety and are beyond amazed at everything they learn. My newly four year is already reading word and doing basic math! They make it fun at school so my son is excited to practice what he learns at home. The teachers and staff are great and truly care for the children. We are so happy that we chose Covenant to take care of our boys!"
"This business can be toxic for babies. I visited my six-month-old granddaughter on her first day, hoping to ease the transition to daycare, and two of the women I talked to seemed benign and caring, but the woman who was working with my granddaughter handled her so roughly, while changing her and dangling her face down over a sink to forcibly wash her face and hands, that the baby screamed as she never had before in her short life, unable to take a bottle or sleep for the few hours further she was there, needing hours at home to settle her down. I woke up the next morning thinking that woman should be fired only to find out she's in charge! She talked a great game about child development at the same time she was hostile beyond belief to the baby she was holding. The baby is now in a childcare setting where she is treated well and appropriately and she is thriving!"
"I love this place! The owners are friendly and always address my concerns about my son. I get picture texts all through the day showing me what he is doing and he is always happy. I feel like he has learned a lot just by attending their school. And its always clean and doesn't smell like a nursery. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a daycare where you can go to work and not worry about your little one."
"We are so happy with Children's Choice Preschool! The space is beautiful, the teachers are caring and the kids are sweet. Our daughter is so happy there, and she's learning something new every day. We think the educational philosophy has encouraged her to grow and learn in amazing ways."
"Ask any muscle head and they'll tell you the Y is for pussies and old people! Granted, there are plenty of "Old People" who utilize the Y, however, it's still a pretty cool place, in my humble opinion that is.I know, I know, I'm "Old," so you naysayers can rest your case. Nevertheless, it's clean, it's family friendly, it's affordable, and I really dig it! They have the basics, to include free weights, and their cardio equipment is top notch with pretty large video screens on every unit. An outside pool come summer time and a plethora of fitness classes you can get in on. Hey, they even have free daycare for members, so what excuse are you gonna use next, huh?If I can continue to keep getting my fat butt in their fairly regularly I might even offer up some before and after photos courtesy of the Y, but don't count on it. What you can count on, though, is a nice place to get your sweat on!I think you'll be glad you gave them a look see!"
"They claim to be a Christian center, but there is nothing Christian about them. CACFP guidelines are not followed, and children are not getting enough food at meal times. Staff are abusive towards students, and will force children to sleep, will deny food, will make students sit by themselves facing walls for meals. The staff do more yelling than redirection. The safety of the students is a concern when it comes to the play ground equipment, with things being broken and rusted. The water scalds even the adults. Teachers will force children to sleep during rest time, and will sleep themselves during rest time. Infants will be swaddled, left in bouncer chairs, and turned to the walls while they sleep. Infants will be put in cribs to keep them out of the way. They would not be a 5 star center of they weren't licensed through NECPA, and didn't have friends who "owe them favors" at the licensing board. Online trainings are just used to follow requirements, and are not followed through with. They require staff to be in school for early childhood education and do not provide assistance, and require staff to submit all scholarships they are planning on getting. They get upset if you already have an undergrad degree and don't want to get another 4 year degree opting to get a masters instead. Management is terrible and doesn't work on solving issues, only sweeps them under the rig by moving around staff. They use "at will employee" status as a threat."
"We found Jeanie's on a whim and boy am I glad we did!1. Impromptu field trips to the park.2. Transportation to and from swim lessons during the summer.3. Trips to the library.4. Occasional pizza days.5. A pet bunny. These are only a few of the activities that I love about Jeanie's. The center is clean and well managed. Communication is clear and consistent. There are themes of the week and even my infant brings home artwork. For instance, they made a butterfly out of her foot prints. Jeanie's has always been very open to my children's need for extra interventions and I know each person who goes in to see my child is treated well.I read all of their information and past evaluations through CYFD and although it wasn't perfect (I didn't find any daycare centers that were perfect) each concern was fixed immediately and none of the concerns were red flags, in my opinion. What can you expect at Jeanie's? Your kids will get hugs from all of the teachers at the center. Each teacher will know their name. They will get a great deal of time to play outside. Your kids will come home dirty from playing or doing art projects. But the best thing of all is the comfort in knowing that your children are in excellent hands. Every time I drop my kids off they run to their teachers for hugs and breakfast and that in itself is priceless. If you're looking for a daycare center give Jeanie's a jingle and see if it's the right fit for your family."
"Horrible would be a gentle euphemism...I pulled my daughter outta here couple years ago & still hear the horror stories...honestly, my daugher was bitten over 20 times in the span of a year & their response at the end was that "This is just what kids do", really? In the summer they didnt take kids' sweaters off to play outside(since their a/c was cranked up so high inside the kids had to wear them) I picked up my daughter a couple times, her face (among all the others) all red & flustered saying she was hot and thirsty...wowNo structure either, all they're doing is babysitting and the kids run wild, no education. They offer food but chow time is just that~ one bowl in the middle of the table & the kids eat as fast as they can to make sure they're gonna get their portion, that's terrible on the digestive system at any age. When I did pull my daughter out they had her outside waiting, on the steps, with her belongings & a staff memeber standing up above. Real nice in the dead heat of summer. They say they are a 5-star rated facility, however when you observe how the rating system works, they need only a kitchen facility to attain this rating, ridiculous!Need I go on? Dont send your little ones here...They dont seem to care much"
"My daughter started going to her first school at 18 months at Ms. Kellis House. I checked out a lot of different places and first of all I picked this school because it was recommended, it was very clean compared to other places that grossed me out. Part of the reason why it's clean is I like that they put the kids to work/learn by in the summer time they get to take toys and chairs outside and clean them with soapy water play time. The director/owner are awesome to talk to. My daughter did cry at first and her teachers did a great job comforting her. She is always happy when picked up. My daughter is now 3 and she has learned so much. I like that they do little field trips for preschool and pre k. The staff here work very hard, very organized, communication is good keeping everyone on the same page. It's definitely been worth it for us with a only child because our daughter has learned about sharing and having friends. Our daughters personality has really opened up. This has been great for us to experience what it will be like when she starts going to public school with field trips, picture days, open houses and festivals because she's really going to school at Ms. Kellis House."
"For the price you just can't beat it with a stick!I've belonged to a Y on a few occasions in different cities/states and have always found them to be the best bang for your buck. That's assuming you get discounts & utilize it for the full family. If you're a single "Muscle Head," you might be disappointed though. But with my discounts I pay 42.00 per month for the entire family; how can you beat that?Their equipment is nice & new, but limited & with only one free weight bench press, it can be a pain. Especially if there are a couple guys camping on it. But it does have the full gamut of dumbbells and a few little benches for various exercises and a preacher bench, which is nice. A fair amount of cardio equipment and so far I've not seen it too packed. In my opinion it needs Hammer Strength equipment, but they obviously have limited space & I believe their clientele is generally older, who do not use that stuff as much. But there is a pool, various classes & free child care when working out if you have no place to leave the kids. No contracts and you can bail anytime you like.So if you're looking for a family friendly gym at a good price, this is the place. Oh, there's also three locations in town & one membership is good for all."
"We love the staff! They're so great with the kids, all ages. It's always clean and well kept! Plus the teachers decorate for all seasons which makes for a fun environment for the kids as well. Best daycare in town, by far."
"All of the teachers are amazing! My son loved going here and talks about how much he will miss his friends and teachers next year. Highly recommend to anyone!"
"After 5 years I still bring my kids here and can not complain! The staff is always very friendly and I've met them all (my kids have been here infant -preschool). The core staff has remained pretty consistent over the years, not too much turn over- there are always familiar faces. My kids haven't ever had anything negative to say, and they say it like it is. I think the prices are fair, more affordable than most- teachers get a discount!"
"Great school, very caring staff and an all around great experience. My son absolutely loved attending Covenant."
"I initially struggled to find a daycare for our 3 month old during the pandemic and director Yesenia was quick to respond to our inquiries and give us a tour. Our now 6 month old daughter struggles with clinginess and the teachers in the infant room, Briza and Sarah, have been incredibly patient all while caring for the other children. The staff has been prompt in dealing with illness during COVID and I've immediately received calls when workers notice something off with my child. A teacher even noticed she occasionally had disrupted breathing while sleeping. Our doctor confirmed the disruption and advised further monitoring. We would have noticed it much later had it not been for the teacher Sarah."
"Southwest Child Care is simply the best. Our son Joshua has been going to this day care for 2 years and loves every minute. The staff is loving, caring, and is a family away from our home. He has learned so much and is thriving in his Pre-K class. I would recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking for a place to keep their children safe and in a loving environment. The best part of this daycare is the relationship between Joshua and his teachers Ms. Mariah, Ms. Nadia and Ms. Holly, they all have an important role in Joshua's everyday care and have taught him so much. One of the main reasons for choosing this daycare is Ms. Ethel because of her daily hugs, kisses and love she gives to each and every child. Her and Mrs. Jenny will take care of all your concerns and needs, they are what keeps the daycare together. We also have a little one on the way and feel this is the one place we trust with caring for her."
